[Q] Not getting any update for my LG Optimus G E970 AT&T - AT&T LG Optimus G

Hi,
I have Android 4.0.4 in my LG Optimus G E970 Every day I click on Update Now option in Software update to get update of 4.1 but it always warn me that my device is up to date. Which is not up to date in real.
What should it do to get stock update?

I sent you a pm.

(Q) Rooting the converted Nexus 4 for Optimus G?

If this process was defined already please let me know from where do I can accomplish this? Apparently the conversion accepts the stock Google system update to 4.2.1 that happened this morning. Otherwise I'll assume it's safe to proceeded as though I'm using the nexus 4 at this point.

I may not be right, but I believe it was posted in the thread somewhere that if you do the conversion, you're rooted already and do not need to do anything.

shouldnt be too hard same phone essentially will look into it
I'm going to try a source port since we are so similar to the N4. Source code is downloading tonight and I'll try building it sometime tomorrow.

Interesting build and I look forward to playing with it a bit!

Interruption to network connectivity.

Hello all I am having an issue. I am trying to launch my Navy federal app and this is the error I get. I can't find out how to fix it. The app works on other CM10.2, but no KitKat based ROM. I realize this could be do to incompatibility, but the reason I think it isn't is simply because it allows me to install it from the play store. I am running AOSP 4.4 built from source, built by Houstonn. It is v3. I have posted this in the forum itself but no one answered my question there for I am posting it here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just a guess but since many apps have not been updated to work with 4.4 and this is a rather secure app I bet that is the issue.

Using banking apps on rooted phones isn't the smartest thing in the world.

Yes I known insecure phone stuff like that. But my phone doesn't have to be rooted for some guy to intercept my data. People can simply take all of your data with your NFC chip, they can man in the middle when your on wifi. So I think them doing something when I'm rooted is the least of my worries.

I'll say it again, even if LG releases an update AT&T will file it in the trash can. I have had two phones that have had to be unbranded in order to apply the official updates released from manufacturer.

Power users like us will still get to use it whether att trashes it or not. We can just flash away the Canadian version or port the intl/spr version to att

old articles from unfounded sources. already discussed and dismissed.
and wrong section.
come on OP, don't spam.
fyi, one of the articles isn't even for the right phone.
I'll gracefully bow out... Why the attitude... Just keeping hope alive... But optimus g pro should get the update...

This device was EOLd very early in its life. To expect further updates is noobish.

I hope it's true.
Not trying to be negative, just realistic. If it gets updated, great. But more than likely, it will not. If there is an update, the only shot we have at seeing it is if lg leaks it. Att has put this phone in their rearview mirror a long time ago.

I have a good news. LG Viet Nam confirmed that in july OG E975 will be updated Kitkat. But it has no knock on. It's difficult to understand
