Poetic Slimline - Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 Accessories

I just received my Poetic Slimline case.
This case is, as its name suggests, Slim and lightweight it fits perfectly and offers decent corner protection without impeding access to ports and the S-pen.
I find the angles great when in movie or typing mode. I can confidently type on the screen when in movie mode The Note Pro doesn't feel like its going to fall over at all.
There appears to be 2 magnets that hold the cover closed they seem strong enough. It also appears to have a "Smart cover" effect by turning the screen on when you open it... Very good quality and very reasonably priced! I recommend it!!

Nice. Where is the link to purchase?

I have this as well. Owned it for the note 10.1 2014 edition also. You can use it laying down without having to flip it upside down as well.

How are the magnets on it. After reading a bunch of reviews I noticed the major problem being the magnets are weak or get weaker as time goes on

The magnets seem strong enough, although I haven't had it very long.
I purchased mine on ebay. I haven't posted enough times to be allowed to post external links

Can PM me the link?

I bought this case, directly from the manufacturer. It seems quite good so far.

Is it better than the official samsung case for the PRO 12.2? I mean in terms of light weight and protection against drop. Any disadvantages of having the home button and the other two buttons placed on the top as shown in the photo?

In typing mode the home and sofkeys would have to be at the top. A bit of a pain, but that's the design, presumably because of the way the top must close to employ auto off for the screen.

Thought it was a pain at first too but then I realized that it has the side benefit of keeping the capacitive buttons away from where you'd rest your thumbs/palms when typing in landscape mode.

Having looked at the official Samsung case I found this one much sturdier looking when in video mode and stable in typing mode. As for the button on top I haven't had a problem and they are kept away from your hand when typing.

Because I like having the home/back buttons at the bottom, I've tried and been consistently able to just flip the upper flap edge up from under the tablet allowing for an angled view, and it doesn't slip. This is a very good case.

What do you think? I might order it
Looks terrible. The display tablet isn't even a Transformer.
wow, looks the one I've been waiting for, leather and functional, usable while still in the case, not expensive too.
I wonder how tightly it holds the tablet...don't think I'd trust this thing if its the kind of elastic I'm thinking it is.
Sent from my Transformer TF101 using Tapatalk
those of us that came from the gtab went through these corner elastic cases. the elastic loosens withing a few weeks and you are left with a loose fitting tablet. Many times the elastic covers or presses buttons in the locations it is covering.
most people cut the elastic off and velcroed their tablets into the cases.
Horrable. Do not buy that junk
What about this one that uses clips? Do you think the clips will hold the transformer securely? and would it scratch it?
http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220782110011
i got the one with the elastic bands as it seemed a safer bet than the clip version. Its a great fit and really snug with the TF in it thumbs up!
P.S: i took a risk and ordered it when it was still named as for the Gtablet. The dimensions were compatible though. And so it is. Phew

I got one of these, it's ok not great, for £7 delivered it's about right.
The back of the case(not the TF case!) warps slightly due to the pressure from the 4 corner holders.
The top left corner strap sometimes pushes the volume up button as it covers it, you can still use the volume up button though. I have slipped off the top left corner one due to this and it still seems to hold ok.
No way of using the stand in low profile mode (shallow angle so the tablet is near flat to desk)

Wallet Cases

Anybody have any luck with wallet flip cover cases? I have one that I purchased on Amazon but it has a magnet in the back that interferes with the S Pen around the area. I've never used one before this so I'm curious to see what you guys know.

Always seemed to me that the cards would damage the screen.
It's hard to find a decent one, most have magnetic closures which suck.. Spigen did the Valentinus for the note 2 which had a snap closure and was a nice case as well. Hopefully they will remake it for the note 3 in time.

storyleather has nice ones.
I can't send links. I am a newbee
I bought this Cellto Wallet Case when it was $1.99, just got it last night. The screen protector included with it was complete garbage. The quality of the case appears decent but after careful inspection I've decided that it will not hold up very long unless it is used gently. The only thing I place in the billfold is a micro-fiber cloth, no cards... That wouldn't be a good idea without a sufficient screen protector.
If I get one, I want it to be a nice leather finish with no clasp (looks like a woman's purse).

I got the brown version last night, used it today for the first time, it's nice for $14, I did cut out the top of the plastic shell that holds the phone to the case that covers the buttons, I couldn't reliably trigger the volume and power buttons, trimming the plastic worked perfectly to allow reliable access to the buttons.
Am hoping the case ages well, and looks good as it breaks in, it looks great now, supposedly they're made out of lambskin leather.
I like it...I don't mind paying $59 for it. definitely the style that I like, BUT I prefer a black color

Tridea also has this http://tridea.co.kr/html_12/product/product_02/01.html [includes window and no latch (magnetic)]
Doesn't look like the Tireda cases will hold more than 1 card without preventing the magnetic cover from closing..
I got the Poetic Flipbook off of amazon. Feels nice and has an elastic band to hold it close. Has 3 card slots and room for some loose money or notes or whatever else you may slip in. It was a little over $11 after shipping

Take a look at "Anymode"
http://www.anymode.co.uk/mobile phone/galaxy note 3/touch hard case
It completely cover your phone, back and front with transparent plastic shell.
As for user experience, it failed completely. To use its provided front protector, you need to increase touch sensitivity, which sometimes doesn't work.
I got frustrated and throw it away already. Well.. at least it completely covers the phone as you asked for!!

Since you seem to be in US - I have the EU version of this:
http://www.amazon.com/GENUINE-Black-MUZZANO-SAMSUNG-GALAXY/dp/B00FGXZLG4/
The quality in my model is excellent for the price - but the EU version was offered by mumbi (under a name like X-TPU) and was only 2 colors, so it might be a little different.

Body Glove
I'm using the Body Glove Shocksuit for my Note III. It's slim and covers the entire phone I had one on my S III before. It's is good looking and tough. You can't find it on their site. I ordered it off of Amazon.
Hi guys I've just found a great case it's on ebay 0.3mm thick covers all but a small section of the bezel at the bottom. It adds virtually no bulk, phone feels great to hold again, and it cost less than £3 !!! It's just arrived and I'm really chuffed with it only issue so far is It isn't raised past the camera at the back, cutouts seem nice tho! Ive added the link below, Hope this helps you all. This case is super thin!!

Does the phone slips out easily from the pouch? But not too easily that it slips out accidentally.
i posted about this in another thread, see here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=57285596&postcount=42
i got one from linda a week after i got the launch day nex 6. it really is a wonderful pouch, for those who dont want a case. its hand made from the hands of a pretty lady and came with a handwritten note.
i put the qi stone+ in the front pouch to wireless charge on the go. perfect solution.
the phone does slip out very easily and the flap has a magnet to hold it over the opening.
defintely a recommend.
Different Types!!
She makes different types as well... some with the magnetic flap, some without, some with an extra pocket, some without... very versatile plus you pick you colors as well... I like it a lot. I personally hate a real tight not loose pocket pouch. With tight ones, I have experienced what I call the CLEAN JERK which is when you struggle to pull it out then it just suddenly release then the phone goes flying... with this one I can invert and the phone slides out... Thats my preference, may not be yours:fingers-crossed:
I'm gonna get the one with the magnet latch. Thanks!
Just got my pouch in from Linda today. I was expecting good things but my word: this thing is incredible. I thought the jean material would be kinda stiff, but it's super soft. It's almost as soft as the felt material inside. It fits my Nexus perfectly and has already gotten complements.

Yes. It comes in and out so smoothly, but the latch keeps it in no problem. I held and shook it upside down to test with no issues. Also, the magnet is strong enough to keep it shut but doesn't stick as it is really tiny.

Too bad there no real leather nexus logo pouches?

Good stylus and case to hold phone with such stylus?

I'm looking for a nice stylus and a good case that would hold the phone and stylus comfortably.
Anyone have any good ideas?
I am not sure are any for this phone or any phone for that matter. If Stylus is your thing you can go wrong with the note series. Also xperia ultra z(although out dated) has an even larger screen and you can use any writing utensil to write. They even have GPE so you get nexus like treatment. Although you will probably have to buy the ultra z used
---------- Post added at 08:43 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:42 PM ----------
My experience using stylus on a non wacam phone has been poor to say the least
Sorry for reviving this thread, but ever since the new google handwriting input became available on nexus 6 I've been looking for the same thing as OP and I can't seem to find anything out there on the market.
Has anyone ever seen a case with a built in stylus holder? I understand it will make my phone even bigger and I'm ok with that, just want to know if such case exists.
Thanks
Anyone?
Can't help with a case, but my nvidia direct stylus 2 worked on a store floor-model nexus 6 at my local Verizon. The tip is nice an soft and WILL NOT scratch your screen, and it feels nice in hand.
There weren't any ui hiccups either, no matter how fast I scribbled. The tip is also not inflated, its a solid conductive rubber piece, so it'll never go flat on you
