[Q] Pen input - Xperia Z2 Tablet Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is there a chance that pen input like for the z1 ultra and the z1(after rooting) will be possible? Would be a lot more convenient than carrying around a stylus.

Bump. Will the pen mod be available for this tablet?

Too early to tell.

Xperia Blog suggests there will be.
With the current firmware, even the TW LTE version .55, there are enough issues with sensitivity with fingers let alone fine point conductive objects (I have the tablet and have tried all the available FWs).
Maybe with another update these issues will be fixed and we see glove mode and pen/pencil input.

But this was removed from the white paper, if you read the current one for the tablet it no longer contains this information. I also read that sony are releasing an eink tablet specifically for making notes (http://pro.sony.com/bbsc/ssr/show-d...alpaper.shtml?PID=I:digitalpaper:digitalpaper), so they may have removed the feature from this tablet, to encourage sales of the other tablet.

Then I guess we root then hack like Z1 users did to get pen stylus input. So long as the hw can support it then it's possible.

Sony Tablet S - should I get one?

I'm in the market for a new/first tablet. Out of the current crop of tablets, I'd say the Sony Tablet S looks most appealing to me. However, with the Asus Transfomer Prime coming out sometime soon, getting the Sony Tablet S is a hard decision.
Here's what I want a tablet for:
+Browsing - I want a tablet that is very capable of browsing the internet with ease and fluidity.
+Work/Note-taking/productivity - I want to be able to write articles and write down lecture notes very easily. The Asus Transformer prime's keyboard looks amazing. How is the typing experience on the Sony Tablet S? I like the unique design and it looks like using a touch keyboard could be pretty fast. Is it? The Sony Tablet S also does have a fairly good looking bluetooth keyboard, but it looks like it could be pricey.
+Movies/youtube - I want a tablet that's great for watching videos. The Tablet S does have a HD screen and a "tru-black" display so it sounds optimal for that. Is it a good display in actuality?
+Front-facing camera - I need a tablet capable of doing video chat well. How good is the quality of the Sony Tablet S' front facing camera and video chatting?
+Speed - I don't need a super-powered beast, but I need something that won't struggle on a day-to-day basis and that runs fast. How's the speed and fluidity on this tablet? With the Quad-core transformer prime coming, I want to know how this actually stacks up.
+Camcorder - In actuality I don't plan on using a tablet for its camera or camcorder, but I would have some use for good video recording on a tablet. Not really a factor in my decision, but how is the video recording quality on this thing?
+Design/styling - Both the asus transfomer prime and the sony tablet s look really good. Tablet S is a little more unique but transfomer prime is a bit sleeker design. Either way I think I'd be happy with the look of the devices.
+Future Updates - Sony Ericcson has been really good with putting out updates to their phones this past year. Will Sony continue along that same way with this tablet? The specs on this tablet seem kinda last year, but it did just come out in September so I imagine support for this tablet would carry on for some time. Do you think this tablet will get updates to newer versions of android? Has Sony announced ICS for this yet?
+Pricing/availability - How much do Tablet S tend to go for new? I would imagine transformer prime would be a bit more expensive with it coming out later, but I don't know. I do know I could get a tablet S in Canada fairly easily, but I don't yet know how transformer prime will do in Canada. If tablet S is same price as transfomer prime it seems it would make more sense to go with transformer prime.
+Your opinion? - How has your experience with the Sony Tablet S been? Do you love it? Would you recommend it? Any other thoughts?
Thanks
There is a topic almost just like this 1 RIGHT UNDER! lol. But I will try and give my general opinion.
Having owned the Ipad2, Jetstream, HTC Flyer & Tablet S...
The Tablet S is proficient at everything you described (although there are some issues especially concerning the watching of Youtube vids).
It is not as good as other tablets tho... Everything the Tablet S does, the Jetstream does better, Faster & smoother. On top of that the Jetstream has so many extra bonus features.
Same goes for the Ipad2... Ipad2 does everything the Tablet S does... but better -_- lol. Except maybe flash vids...
For upgrades... I have several Sony TVs, however only 1 sony phone (X10). The X10 was the ABSOLUTE WORST PHONE I HAVE EVER USED. Updates were so late, I had stop using the phone before the first update was pushed out.
I returned my Tablet S and now use the HTC Flyer. Just my opinion... remember to try out all alternatives before investing your cash into a device.

Oops, can't believe I missed that.
Still, my question is not really vs the ipad mostly vs the other android tablet options. Been searching around the whole night and now I'm even considering the original Xoom lol. Anyways, thanks
friend if you want to recommend something good so you can spend your s1 jobs through an SD or USB using the cable because the iphone 2 is not this so in my opinion the s1 I so the pedi and give me the 15 November that the iphone tube 2 and believe me you have to send an email to the work force and if the guards have to synchronize is silly greetings
I did not understand a word of that, but thanks!

Stock keyboard is a bit laggy, Ive switched to split keyboard app since that was my preference on previous tablets anyway but yeah can always go the bluetooth route.

The display is top notch, its bright but not overly saturated with colors (ie Samsung, some people DO like that though). Video play on it great as are view angles.

This is where S table shines, in design. The tablet is a joy to hold and use, yes its plastic but it is solid and doesnt feel "cheap". The magazine style IS noticeably easier to hold over more rectangle/boxy tablets.

We dont know yet to be honest, what we do know is Android 3.2 was available to d/l the day we bought our tablets so it *appears* Sony will push OS updates quickly but we'll have to see. The game store and video store came online about the time they said it would, it didnt drag out for months so another plus.

Mine broke and was looking for a replacement, something smaller, better screen (Xoom always had a washed out look to me) and S tablet fit the bill. And yeah I dont get any complaints about Youtube, it works perfectly. My only wish for the app was if you rotate the device it kept playing the video from the same point.

[Q] HTC Scribe usable in all applications?

Hi
When I last looked at HTC Flyer some months back, the pen was only working in dedicated applications. Does anybody know whether this has improved? Has anybody installed the inofficial Honeycomb and can report whether the pen now works in all applications?
Cheers
It works on hc in the sense that you can scroll, select buttons, move through home screens etc
When we get Android 4, it will be supported in all applications
Sent from my PG86100 using Tapatalk
Thanks to both. I look for a device to take notes in meetings and the like. My preferred application is "FreeNote, note everything" from flyable, available in Android Market. Do you anticipate that the pen is recognized by FreeNote, prior to Android 4?

The pen does not work in those apps as now we are on Gingerbread. But it is supposed to work on the next Honeycomb update.

Well , kind of...
not because HC thinks its a pen, but because in the HTC HC ROM , the pen mimics your finger in apps that are not specifically HTC Pen enabled. For example in Freenote, the app thinks the pen is your finger and the pen has no more functions than if you use your finger or a capacitive stylus.
Also, ICS won't do anything magical with the pen unless the app is written to use it. ICS has some built-in pen (digital stylus) primitives, but they are not the same as HTCs SDK and don't just magically work. They will recognize the HTC stylus if a application is written to use them.

This is very helpful information, thanks. It seems you have first-hand experience with Freenote and Honeycomb. Could you share your experience in more detail?
* Is it possible to write in normal size (in Paint mode) at normal writing speed?
* Is it possible to rest the wrist on the tablet while writing with the stylus (i.e., the touch screen gets inactivated when the stylus is in use)?
I played with Freenote a bit on the Flyer Honeycomb, but I don't use it as my primary note taker. I use the HTC notes app which is a custom version of Evernote. It works well and syncs with Evernote in the cloud and on PC. and is specially modified to take advantage of the HTC stylus.
Freenote with the pen works just like it works using your finger to write draw etc. The pen is more accurate, but that's the only difference.
So do those of you that have the pen feel it is worth it?
And I would also like to know if this would be a viable note taking option although I doubt it would be

Yes.
Yes.
Now for the long answers. I have been a user of Windows tablet PC's for years, all but one with Wacom digitizers (N-Trig on the HP Slate 500). With the addition of Honeycomb and Quill, I now have a note taking machine every bit as good and readable as my high end HP 2740p (with the exceptions of no Onenote - not available for Android, and no direct handwriting recognition). AND it is smaller and almost as thin as the SCREEN on the hP 2740p. I'm not sure what process Quill is using for rendering the ink, but it is a smooth and legible as pen on paper. One caveat, I have the Wrapsol screen saver on my HTC Flyer - one, to protect the screen, but equally important to give an even better writing surface than bare glass.
I haven't battle tested it yet (long meeting, lots of notes) but so far it is better than any solution I've tried (heaven help you if you want to take notes on an iPad with a capacitive stylus). The screen, at 7" is a little cramped, but it is so small and light to carry it is a no brainer to take to meetings or taking notes at your desk. On the issue of handwriting recognition, I feel that is an over-sold concept even on the Windows platform where recognition is excellent - if you have that much to write - you should type. I prefer to save my notes as PDF and store in the files on the server for reference, just like a paper notebook. The incredible advantage of Onenote (please bring it to Android Mr. Ballmer) is that it indexes your notes without conversion, so you can search for any word in a handwritten note. I believe Evernote can do something similar, but have not yet tried it.
Anyway, this is the best $299 (now you can get them at times for $239) I've spent in a LONG TIME on computer gear.
Dstraus--I recognize you name from the old tablet pc days. I have used those and still do since the beginning. I have just got the stock ota update to honeycomb and am excited to try out quill. Also it seems pdf viewer from a quick look will be a pdf annotator type experience on androod---hope so at least
Hi all
I am the OP of this thread. Thanks for your advice. I have just bought a HTC Flyer and installed Freenote. Works great! Taking notes electronically is now truly feasible. I can only support the notion that a capacitative stylus is a no go for serious handwriting. I now also register this second copy of Freenote (the first stays on my larger 10" pad, no pen :-( on that).
One thing that I did not get to work: Editor | Stylus | "Electromagnetic pen only". I thought that the magic pen of the HTC Flyer is electromagnetic, but when switching this option on, neither finger touch nor pen is recognized.
PS to dstrauss: the device is in Switzerland clearly more expensive than $239; but a good investment nevertheless
Is there anything I can do to use HTC stylus pen on my HTC on m8 max. I mean anything, installing any app, hacking anything anything. you can reach me on [email protected]

[Q] Sketchbook Pro Screen All Scrambled

Hi I just did Globatron's HC upgrade and tried to install Sketchbook Pro. Everything looks fine until I try to draw, the screen is all scrambled. Like there is a issue with resolution or something. Is anyone else having this issue? Any solution? Fresco works but I'm looking for Pressure Sensitivity and SKetchbook seems like the only good App for Sketching. Any Suggestion?

I never had SBP working on HC leak 1 or 2 or 3. You did?
yeah it doesn't seem to work for me too. Can you at least install it? I got it to install with menu and options, it's just when I try to draw when the screen goes nuts. Looks like it's a screen resolution issue of some sort. I have a screen shot I'm going to send to them.
I have loaded it with no problem on each of the three HC leak ROMs and it opened fine and all navigation throughout app worked too. Like you, I get the wonky input distortion when using the stylus. I don't believe I ever tried if finger input worked. I just immediately uninstalled and loaded SB Mobile.
Sketchbook Mobile Pro is working good for me. The one for larger tablets won't though....requires higher resolution. It is not just a matter of OS, but also screen resolution....
are you talking about Sketchbook mobile? I know that works. Just emailed AutoCAD about SB pro and they think it maybe pen related. I think it is a screen resolution issue personally. But lets see how far I get with tech support, I sent them a screen shot. But in the mean time I happy with Sketchbook mobile and fresco app. Hope we can get SB pro working.
To my dismay, Sketchbook Pro performs as you say. Everything looks fine until you try and draw and then the canvas goes crazy.
The problem with Sketchbook mobile is it doesn't support pressure sensitivity, which makes it pointless, imho.
I feel like I'm back at square one. First I had the flyer on GB and couldn't get pressure sensitivity to work. Now that I have HC and the pen works everywhere, pressure sensitivity doesn't work in SKP.
Also, pressure sensitivity does not work in Photoshop Touch either. I wonder if HTC is doing something extra with their pen stuff that overrides Android's pen implementation.
i think its our screen size. And sketchbook pro didn't put into account 7" tabs with scribe pens. Hopefully it should be a easy fix for them. I think the app works its just not calibrated for our screen.

THERE IS NO ANDROID PEN SUPPORT folks. The pen works in drawing apps on the HTC HC because it mimics your finger. HC has no built-in pen support. HTC added it. If an app needs something that your finger can't do using the pen then the app has to know about the HTC styus SDK.
Sketchbook Pro draws with pressure sensitivity on the HTC jetstream so I'm not sure I follow.
Sent from my HTC Flyer P510e using Tapatalk
Well clearly most apps don't work like that, and its not built-in on HC, so my guess is that the app developer has software that reads the type of digitizer that is present and uses the manufacturer's API libraries to provide functions. In this case HTC's Digital Stylus SDK, which is open source and available on HTC's website.
Therefore the problems that show up in the app and when you try to run apps built for the Levono because there is no built-in standard software to support the pen hardware in Android. ICS takes a step in that directions with some pen primitives in the API, but the apps will have to be re-written to work with those ICS functions, they are not the same as HTC or Levono API.
read this for more:
http://www.gottabemobile.com/2011/1...ive-active-pen-support-in-ice-cream-sandwich/
Well it doesn't even work with finger. I would think with or without the HTC scribe pen you should be able todraw with it. To me it looks like the app is having issue with our screen size versus the larger 10" tablets this and other apps are design to run on. Don't even think it was ever an exclusive for Lenovo. Anyways so it looks like there is suppose to be SB Pro for android version 2.0. Been talking to tech support at autodesk and it should solve our problems, hopefully. Waiting on their reply on how I can get it since market doesn't show the updated version yet, still version 1.0. if anything turns up i'll let you guys know.
Update :
Looks like SB pro version should be releasing soon. They gave me no timetable but said it won't be long. I'm hoping for a happy holidays.

Great that SPB is now showing Flyer love. Nice companion to Photoshop Touch. SPB pressure sensitivity on Flyer does uncover the Flyer's lesser sensitivity levels than say the Lenovo Thinkpad. For my uses, the Flyer reads sensitivity in SBP well enough
Hell yeah, that's a nice surprise. It's nice how they really are keeping to their word, unlike some tablet manufacturer(s). This indeed makes a great companion to touch, here is hoping to Adobe stepping up and making it for our flyer(lower Resolution). I'm also interested in Adobe Ideas, would be nice to get it working properly on the Flyer. I decided to to a little digging and menu isn't compatible with the smaller screen resolution. Still sort of workable, but a enjoyable experience.

Yeah...Ideas not too workable for me on Flyer like in is on my Xoom and assume it is on a Puccini or Thinkpad. PST + SBP = productivity tool for basic creative tasks on Android slates >>> finally!
I was under the impression that the stylus pressure sensitivity for SBP 2.0 works, but it doesn't... for me at least.
you need to check the preference inside the program to allow the pressure sensitivity to work. If you hit the "i" goto preference.

I don't get the point that you're trying to drive. I think most/all Android tablets support a KB/touchpad, some come with it, others not, but that ought to make little difference, no?

There are high quality aluminum ones: http://www.ebay.com/itm/161704633039
Pretty much most high end tablets have at least one high end accessory with a track pad. It's nothing special, I should know since I'm running Linux alongside android on my tablets for a bit more than 2 years now (perfect laptop/tablet hybrids), so high end accessories is a must.

Depends. For example the keyboards made by Logitech are better than most OEM's, some of the expensive Chinese accessories gave me the same feeling as Logitech's keyboard so I dispute that.
But you're right, there are some low end offerings too. Search for comments , see other's experience with them and you'll find non OEM accessories to fit the bill and others not to. Since I run Linux on my tablets (alongside Android), I actually burn through quite many accessories. Right now I'm using one from Logitech that I have modified, it honestly feels very good when typing.

My experience with Yoga Book (Android)

I have been looking for a tablet for myself. Mostly, for note/lectures taking and reading. And also for remote connections to Linux machines, when I'm at the beach for example.
When I first saw it, I immediately understood that I had to have it. I bought Android version through Lenovo website. Windows just doesn't make sense to me on this device, it is not powerful enough, and it is a tablet! It is not supposed to replace a laptop. I don't find Windows apps ecosystem as good for mobile devices, as Android.
Waited about a week. Was very excited, when I finally got a package (yeah, I know, I'm a grown-up baby ). And, unfortunately, was disappointed right out of the box. The screen was defective (I even posted it here, lol): uneven color temperature to such level, that I cannot stand. But, I decided to give it a try anyways.
1. Hardware is impressive. Tablet looks fantastic. Sound is very good for the device of this size. I'm still blown away by a case itself. I liked the hinge, and how you can easily transform the tablet.
2. Halo keyboard looks futuristic. And it is OK for typing. I saw many reviews heavily criticizing it, but it is fine. Yes, you cannot type as fast, as on the mechanical keyboard, but it is still much faster than on the on-screen keyboard. Well, touchpad is bad and doesn't support multi-touch (though manual suggests it does), but I actually don't think one needs a touchpad on Android, so I don't complain here.
3. Drawing and note-taking on the Wacom surface is reliable and was a good experience for me. It is a little bit awkward in the beginning to physically write not directly on top of the area where image appears, but it is very easy to get used to. No buttons on the pen though.
4. Atom CPU is more than enough, device felt very responsive overall. However, I did notice it stuttered while charging, probably due to thermal throttling. But on battery I didn't notice any performance issues with the apps I used.
5. Now comes a weak part. Software.
I liked the taskbar, it is nice and useful, but overall, stock software feels like it is a beta version, and it is very basic (to say the least). Especially Lenovo apps (including note-taking). Well, not a real minus, since there are good apps in Google Store. But Lenovo Android customizations definitely need polishing.
Multi-window is almost useless, you cannot resize apps, but only have a smartphone-like size. And in windowed mode apps very often crash (I actually don't remember, when was the last time anything crashed on my Nexus 5, but I root-customized it...).
Some settings simply don't work: no matter what you do, it resets itself back to the default value. For some reason, I couldn't select my Google account as a backup account... Encryption is enabled by default, and you cannot disable it (it actually resulted in a factory reset, see below). Transition animations constantly turned on/off by themselves. And manual is simply inconsistent with the actual software.
I didn't find an easy way to switch Halo keyboard languages.
No customization for note-taking app: every time you switch to Wacom input mode, annoying Lenovo note-taking small window appears, and you have to close it in order to continue drawing in your app.
I had a nasty experience with an update. While updating everything seemed normal, but on the final boot I got a message "Encryption failed. Your tablet will be factory reset". And, yep, I got a completely fresh system, but it was updated. :good: And since there was no option to use my Google account for backup, I had to reinstall and reconfigure everything again. :silly:
Taking all that into account with my initial hardware problem, I just decided to return my YogaBook. I should say, it does feel sad a little bit as it is a very unique device. Honestly, I really wanted to love this device. But it definitely needs polishing, and if you're not a gadget enthusiast, you probably should wait for the next version.

Sure. Do you disagree on all points or only on negative ones?
I really wanted to love this device. Well, I'm returning mine anyways because of the screen issue. I went with my YogaBook to BestBuy and compared it to other tablets, and yep, even Samsung Tab A 10.1'' has a better screen than my tablet. This is definitely unacceptable.
I'm not 100% sure though, if I should just return it or actually do an exchange. But I'm returning, because in this case, if I change my mind, I can purchase a new one (hopefully, without screen defects) (effectively do an "exchange").
If you could be so kind, and point out to me how to fix these software glitches, I would really appreciate it.
couldnt agree more. I personally contacted lenovo in order to return the yoga book too. so disappointed. I think they should have installed Chromebook OS
BTW, I also had the problem with the upgrade and I had to reset everything...
Just curious . . . .
Don't you think the problems will be solved with updates? It is a new product after all. :silly:

Maybe. That's why I say one should wait for another version.
I have bought Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 with S Pen, and this tablet actually performs much better than YogaBook, despite lower specs. Moreover, it actually feels much more comfortable to write directly on the screen.
I just got mine in uae and despite its flaws i really love this device because of the battery life, sound, display and the wacom stylus. Sure the halo keyboard needs some more work but otherwise it works as intended. Just waiting for someone to make a remix os for this.

I pulled the trigger and am going to give it a try. The biggest selling point for me is being able to take notes on paper and pen and then have handwriting recognition do its magic.
Also, there is "Any Pen" support for writing directly on the screen. Though it is not perfect, it should be enough for me.
Admittedly, I am still not 100% convinced and I will let you know how it goes when I get my hands on it.
i picked one up at last friday, i wanted a light decent 10 inch android tablet for mostly browsing, evernote and messing on, the keyboard is a compromise but suits my needs, if im going to do a large amount of typing ill do it on my desktop pc, I personally really like it overall but I just hope they bring Nougat to it so we can atleast have the 2 window option, other than that i lowered the dpi because it was far too high for me, and hopefully we get root soon so i can force chrome to always display desktop sites, as mobile sites on a 10 inch tablet is stupid.
oh i also wish you could scroll easily with the trackpad but i guess thats an Android limitation.
Yeah true that really need that nougat. Has anyone tried installing remix os on their yoga book?

I ůove this device so much but i must totaly agree that Lenovo should agree with jide and Remix OS should be preinstalled as the lenovo modified android realy sucks and is inmature... BTW i am intersted in same Did anyone?
I love it, you have to get used to it
Got mine few days ago.
I love it.
It takes some adjusting of workflows, but it is new, it is different, it is astonishing! Those are the reasons I bought it!.
HINGE IS MIND BLOWING!!!
Coming from range of tablets (Samsung 7" once upon a time, 10.1 Samsung, Xperia tablet z...) and many phones from different manufacturers, keeping just glass/glass as lite motiv (iPhone 4,xperia z1, S6 edge, S7 edge) I confirm it is different!
Missing lot of Samsung staf, missing lot of IOS stuff, but who cares. Playstore can provide all needed apps for my life/work stile.
It is little bit havy, looking at you keybd, but it has a keybd. For others I had to buy separate one. Halo is not a PC (Mak) keybd, but tablet is not a PC nor Mak. This just works It would be nice to change halo keybd (what you can see) but I can live with German layout I've got, just installed swift and off we go!
The only thing that is a real problem is waterproofing! I was so happy reading in a hot bath! When Experia started leaking it really hurts!
If someone knows about waterproof light case for yoga, please, pretty please let me know!
Everything else will solve it self out, root, android 7.... Just have some patience. XDA always brought a solution. For doubtful - check HTC HD forums...I forgot about my 2 phones, but development is still kicking!
Just that waterproofing IP 68 anybody?
P.S. You can swipe with mousepad, in android, just not 2 finger like manual is promissing.
I got mine today and I love it, but there are things (mostly software) that are bafflingly annoying... I got this device with the idea I could utilize Netflix's offline downloading feature only to find out it's not compatible... wtf... fail...
I got mine about three weeks ago and I'm quite happy with it. I "forgot" my work laptop in my office before Xmas and I was able to survive with my Yogabook (LTE version) so far. Android MS Office apps work sufficiently well for me. VPN and Citrix Terminal Client do their job. I only use my apps in full window mode because the task bar does the job for me. Yes, it's very basic but ok for me.
I had a lot of stability issues in the beginning. I figured out that most of the apps were installed on the 128 GB sd card by default. After moving all (no exceptions) apps to internal storage, there were no crashes anymore. I already used this solution for another Android device with lots of crashes.
It took a while to get used to the keyboard but it is possible to do 10 finger typing at medium speed after some training. I just had to switch off the word completion feature because it began to drive me crazy.
After watching some Youtube videos from an artist who uses his Yogabook as a professional drawing device, I even became motivated to try it out myself. Before I just used the pen to take some notes in Evernote. It's actually quite some fun to use it for drawing and I had to buy the add-on stuff of the ArtFlow app.
Yes, it's annoying that it is not possible to download stuff to the tablet via the Netflix app. Amazon, Spotify, and Maxdome download content works well, however, in offline mode. The HDMI output to an HD TV or a projector looks good, too. Both for video streaming and Powerpoint presentations.
In summary, I'm quite happy with it ... even as an unplanned replacement for my work laptop ...
the drawing surface work with other apps or just the lenovo drawing app? for example Adobe sketch

It works great with Sketchbook, Infinite Painter, Layer Paint. However somehow most brushes do not work with Corel painter.
I personally find drawing on Yogabook to be more responsive and less alggy than compared to my Samsung 10.1 2014.

I used so far without issues: ArtFlow and ArtRage for Drawing, Evernote and Lenovo Note Taker for handwritten notes, Ez PDF for annotating pdf documents.
For my purposes, the pen is very accurate and responsive. In ArtFlow the pen pressure dependent line thickness and color intensity work very well.
Small addition. It survived nasti drop from table height in the office, rough terrain (PC, table legs, chair legs).
Ugly dent in metal and some scratches. That is a drawback of metal build! Glass glass will shater or survive without evidence.
BUT IT WORKS no problem at all!
Stupid question
How to @ on the Halo keyboard?
Shift + @
