great thing, now it looks beautiful
did recognise a failure though: now i have a transparent status and navigation bar... using "gravity box", but won't blacken the bars in transparency settings...
any clue why?

@dipesh1502 - I flashed the black.zip today but decided i preferred everything white.
What is the easiest way to revert back?
I did do a backup in Philz Touch recovery but remember reading elsewhere that the restore does not always work and can result in a bricked phone.

after flash zip my setting there is not in my apps !
restore setting.apk systemui.apk and semcsetting from stock now its in my apps

Not updated yet, I use now the excellent last eXistenZ Ultra, very white...
Then I tested your mod!
All perfectly works (only need wipe data Clock apk).
Some small comments / suggestions:
- past events in agenda are unreadable (black on black)
- nice to themed in black too power menu and sound volume bar (still white background)
- name of favorite contacts (star windows) is not very readable (too transparent bar and black text)
I think less transparent and white text better...
- Alarm list not very readable: time text dark grey on black when alarm activated. White text?

Now it must be white then.try manually moving the apks to system/app with permissions rw-r-r

Hi SASMareSRB,
You cannot open it and touch the install button, it will not now work. Your smartphone needed to be rooted. These are the instructions how to install the systemui.apk.
1. Install File Manager or Root Explorer from the Android Market and make sure the settings configured to root and write.
2. Go into systems/app, copy the systemui.apk for backup to your sd card.
4. Now copy the systemui.apk you like to install to the systems folder then change the permission to r-w-r-r.
5. Now move it to the systems/app folder by deleting or overriding the currently systemui.apk installed.
6. Now reboot and hopefully you should have the statusbar toggle.
I have officially tested on my Arc S with the official ICS 4.0.3.562 firmware.

next please provide these flashable using cwm
coz :
when I replaced the new systemui.apk it sent error with status bar (which disappeared soon)
and difficultly I could power off then start again but I found that the status bar completely disappeared and didn't respond when I tap down to get .
so I recover the system files using cwm to back to original
and now I'm waiting for falshable version using cwm for not to make faults
please check this ......

Hello, great work and is working nice..but can you mod the vertical/horizontal battery (colloured partially in blue neon when discharging, moving when charging ) and clock, wifi, BT and all the icons that shows in the upper line of display.
Also to have blue neon line between status bar and the rest of the status bar, operator in blue neon and also down below the SONY name? Think i made myself clear, all items in blue neon.
well wud u plzz share the neon green pack if u dnt mind...i m bord of blue now...wud really be gratefull

One thing I would love would be white coloured indicators when the icon is activated and perhaps you might want to edit the battery icon in the SystemUI_Blue_Neon_Line.zip cause the battery icon is still half full and green while at 30% capacity.

I tested it after à data and cache wipe on my mk16i, it boot loop after launching optimisation.
With cwm 5 and ics 4.0.4 official rooted unlocked bootloader with some bloatware uninstall via titanium backup
But I Can't wait to see it working for my ics

It would be even more if you include percentage in battery icon.
I'm just using modified SystemUI, and really like the AOSP stock battery icon, but with percentage, like in AOKP.
I've searched in several threads and didn't find any mod to look like AOSP stock icon.
Do you know or can point me to any mod like this?

1 - DeskClock (now bigger icons, ICS analog clock)
2 - Contacts (contact icon change, background and tab changed)
3 - DialerTabActivity (very close to ICS, I hope)
4 - PackageInstaller (transparent titlebar)
5 - Phone (button changed, incoming screen)
6 - GoogleQuickSearchBox (now look like Jelly Bean)
7 - Settings (PowerWidget look like ICS)
8 - SystemUI (very close to Jelly Bean, I hope)
9 - Framework (change a few button, background now is gradient, and statusbar icons)
NOTE*: I didn't try this theme on my phone, and can't post any screenshot, but it should work, so if you have any problem, post here

Just make a full transparent theme, transparent bar (like in repencis 3.5 default theme), holo launcher apk.

i need help... i cannot install the powercontrols.apk and gradient_music.apk.....
i followed all the steps and installed the ICS theme successfully without problems....
but i cant get to install the apks.... it looks like ordinary but then it shows "Application Not Installed" if you may have experienced it before...
i m loving the screenshots and can't wait to have it on my Galaxy Y... Also the system replacer was also not working thru Setting > Repencis labs.... so i had to use root explorer...
P.S: i registered just to get the solution

I like GB on my Xperia U, but GB Ui is ugly, so I've made something to make it better (following my personal tastes).
BlackTheme.apk: I've changed background in settings, phone, message, mail etc to Deep Black.
INSTALLATION:
make a nandroid backup, in order to came back in every case.
copy BlackTheme.apk to /system/vendor/overlay/framework
give right permissions to the file (rw-r--r--)
Reboot and select black theme in display setting

Picture of the settings menu shows its gone black yet the in call UI has remained stock standard. It is the only element that has not changed.

Thats Phonebook. I will mod it after lolipop only. I am getting some errors for that. So you should wait until lolipop If you like my work you can simply press the Thanks button from my OP to encourage me...
Oh ok, I thought it was the same thing. Black lollipop will be amazing I'm not a fan of bright colours.
