If you're on stock TouchWiz or Hyperdrive you should be able to get 4+ days no problem.

I get up at 5am take phone off of charger start Bluetooth audio streaming at 7am and stop it at 330pm go home play some games text facebook and all.
when I go to bed at 10pm im usually at 15 percent with 4hours screen on time.

Probably with an onscreen time of 30 minutes.

I go on average 36 to 48 hrs...
Sent from my SCH-I545 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app

I get an average of 20-25 hours per charge. Usually I plug it in around 15-20% charge left. Screen on time varies from 4 1/2 hours to 6 hours 45 minutes. Depends if im using the browser more.. Can't beat that. Coming from a Rezound....this is killer battery life.

I never knew it was turned on in the first place. I don't use it . Why? Are you having short life issues?

Not bad, I have greenify, setcpu, etc. Screen on usually about 3 3.5 hours.

One great feature of our phones is the option for an extended battery. I run a 5200mah battery and these shots are from a day when i was testing out how many hours screen on time I could pull off
On normal light usage days/weeks I could probably get 4 -5 days no problems. Just I reboot and flash a lot so rarely do I get those screen shots lol
Also I run Mahdi ROM with KToonsez kernel...

Are you using SetCPU free or the paid version?

I got the paid version. Actually think I got it way back when either the first DROID came out, or when I had my incredible.

Battery Stats

Just wanted to see what others are getting for battery life.
Name the rom you are on, your typical use, and tips for others to squeek out your awesome battery life.
I am running alpha 2
Heavy use ( constant sync two Gmail accounts, wifi on 24/7, friendcaster, and Hotmail)
As for battery advice I keep my screen brightness to a minimum unless I am going outside.

Can't believe your screen is only at 33%
Huge sign of not using your phone
Guess you using the app to take your screen brightness down to 1 on top of that?
Alpha 2
Edit: first pic not showing for me=3 hr 10 min screen time. Also have over 2 hrs of music playing. Almost ss good as oc dagr8 oc to 1.8 GB. If could set min frequency to 192 think it would be the same
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I717 using xda premium
Yeah can you fix the first pic?
I can't get 19hours, but I can get 3hr screen time
Playing music is easy with screen off for lil drain
Getting 5 hour screen time on a note is definition of great battery life

Battery

Well schools about to start and I need a Rom that has really good bat. Currently running viper with no mods and it lasts a good 5hr
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using xda premium
Did you try calibrating the battery again? 5 hours is pretty short. Turn off auto-sync, and stick to 3g. And you should have access to WiFi in school, right? I got the extended battery. Money well spent. Shop around, I'm sure you could get one for a decent price.
Sent from my ADR6425LVW using Tapatalk 2
Calibrating the battery? Is there an app for that? And school doesn't have WiFi so 4g is essential. And extended battery is too expensive. Does the aosp or cm9 do well? I don't want to flash a whole new ROM just to test the battery lol

Grab a spare standard battery and a cheap battery charger. All together its like $12 plus shipping. I got two extra standard batteries. I put on in my backpack and leave the other at home for trips and stuff.

That or get an emergency battery pack they usually can charge your phone twice before needing to be recharged and mine was $30

Are you saying five hours screen on or five hours total?
Five hours screen on is fantastic. I don't think you can do better than that. Five hours total is terrible. If that's all you're getting then something is wrong.

JuiceDefender on Note 2

Anyone else using it? I've used it since OG Droid, and it's always the first app installed on any phone I get. It claims to be giving me 2.01x battery life, and with any other phone I believed it but I'm seeing people post 2 days no charge and I get about 1.25 days with very heavy use, unless I'm at work (12hr shifts 4 days a week). Thoughts? Some people claim it's junk, and I'm not so sure with a battery as big as ours we need it, or if there is a better alternative? I mean we already have a Battery Saving Mode...

I'm using it,I think if you configure it with the right settings it can save you a good amount of battery.

I personally don't think it's needed on this phone because how long the battery already lasts and I like my smartphone to stay smart. But on my lg spectrum I used deep sleep battery saver, it was pretty good.
Also on a side note time up isn't as important as screen time. I could get days if I didn't use the phone, but if you are always on it 12 hours is pretty good
Sent from my SCH-I605 (AKA NOTE 2)
I think battery saving apps are obsolete now because phone's are becoming more battery efficient and batteries are becoming larger (Mah). I don't see any need for a battery saving app anymore especially with this phone. Just uninstall it and some more RAM

If you turned the phone on and used it for 30 mins and then idle it for another 5 and 1/2 hours and it died... then something is wrong.

Sounds to me like the NSA is on to you my friend.
From the looks of your screen shot you have alot of things running in the background. Emulator, torrent and media servers drain battery quickly. I can get 2 days with my setup. But if I play words with friends my battery is dead in 4 hours. Some apps are just battery leeches. What Rom n kernel are you running.

Holy crap you have your screen on alot. What is your screen on time? If you are getting 4 or 5 screen on time, that isn't bad. Looks like your phone sleeps when screen is off which is good. I just think you are killing your battery with on screen time. Most people saying they get 1 to 2 day use don't have the screen on that much. I usually get 5 hours of screen time on 4g. However my 5 hour screen on time spands over 15 hours. Also depends on what you are doing when screen is on... Playing games drain vs checking email for example.
Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 2
Here is my battery states... Can tell when I got off work and really started playing around with the phone. Was on 4g about 80 percent of the time.

Real measurements are whatever YOU use the phone for. I don't get LTE at home so wifi is all I have. If you want a "real" test turn the brightness up all the way and steam videos. Your statement makes no sense.
Makes perfect sense. I have unlimited like tons of other people. Its a phone. Not a tablet. You're not going to be 24/7 on WiFi. To measure real battery is to be on a tower. Not your home internet.

After 5hrs I am at 60% remaining – LTE, Sync off, Falcon pro widget with hourly updates, 2 hours screen on with brightness @ 20%, about 1hour youtube, 1 hour music, 1 hour Streaming music (Tune in Radio & Pandora), 30 minutes browsing, 10 minutes calls.
GSam estimates 9 hours remaining with similar usage pattern.
My GS3 would have been 20% remaining by this time, very happy with the battery life.

Looking at some of your stats it seems like Chrome is a battery hog
It's used 15% of my battery so far compared to 26% for the screen being on 3 hours.
Im impressed with the quickness of the charging time. All results below consist of 40% of the time screen at full brightness, and 40% of the time at min brightness and overall average at about 60% brightness.
Drain:
Total use: 13h 52m
From 5% to off went about 25 minutes 4G streaming the Avengers from Netflix at min brightness. A rate of around 5 minutes to each 1% of battery life. (Image1)
Also impressed with the flatline seen here, that was sleep time from 3am to 9am, glad to see it consumed no power (coming from Thunderbolt so this is new for me) (Image2)
Charging:
Total Charge: 2h 20m
With the phone off, from 0 to 61% took 1 hour:laugh:, from 61% to 100% the phone was turned on and mostly idle with the display off other than missing a call and having to make a call - all on 4G took 1 hour and 20 minutes. (Image3)
I had about 4-5 hours of Pandora streaming during all this as well.
Wanted to embed pics but new here so cant post outside links. Overall happy with the battery and power managment with heavy use.
Put it on the charger. Great battery life.
