Changing volume button while taking video - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 5

Is there anyway to change the volume up and down button to zoom in and out rather than take a photo while in video mode? I don't like zooming in with my fingers in the screen while taking a video and would rather use the volume buttons

Allshare - Volume Buttons

Anyone noticed that when controlling another player using allshare on your phone that the volume buttons (on screen or rocker) are incredibly incremental. I've sat in front of the computer holding the volume rocker and watch WMP's volume barely slide upward.
Is there a hacked up app- or is it possible to create a hacked up app- that adjusts the volume in larger increments?

[Q] volume buttons for track change

is there a way to use the volume buttons to switch between tracks? like in my old k800 when i longpressed a volume button it played the next or the previous track. it would be nice and it would save battery cos it would not activate the screen all the time
Hey, I was thinking about something likewise. It would be nice that while the phone is closed, a single click on the camera button would start/stop music, a double click on the camera button would go to next track.

Changing Track/Song

Hi,
I'm fairly new here but I have done a reasonable amount of searching (imo) and have yet to find a result to effectively change songs while listening to music without having to take phone out of pocket (bluetooth devices, and shake2playnext excluded).
I found an app called 'Next Song' which interprets double-presses on the volume - this would be nice, only I haven't been able to make it work successfully (next song popup notification appears but track does not change)
At one point, I used button remapper to remap my camera button to media_next. (was using camera360 at this point with camera button). After the GB update and recent threads, I have wanted to use the SE camera more. Unfortunately, the camera button does not work in SE's camera button without the focus button (must press focus before camera button, then picture will be taken).
If anyone's got a solution let me know please
(remap longpress/volume, double press volume rockers? or take picture without focus button on SE camera?)

camera app landscape position is wrong?

why is the camera app landscape position wrong (volume buttons down)?
i know when you have screen rotation on, you can rotate it the other way, but most 3rd party camera apps ive used have default landscape with volume buttons down. now the led flash is on the bottom of the lens. this is completely wrong to take pics. also when you have a rom that enables volume button shutter, it would only make sense for the shutter button to be on top.
which camera app allows custom exposures? for the iphone, there are 3rd party apps that allow you to multitouch the screen to select exposure and where to focus.

Does half pressing the shutter button even do anything?

When I start the camera it continuously auto focuses so half pressing the shutter button doesn't do anything.
I tried looking for away to turn off continuous auto focus in the settings, but found nothing. So... what is the point of have having a half press on the shutter button when it doesn't do anything?
