Android Wear? - Ornate TrueSmart

Can the TS actually do anything with Wear or would this be flashing a totally different OS?
From the looks of it Android Wear really is just a fancy way of displaying notifications or the cards from Google Now?

It's a watered-down version of KitKat. The TS2 will support both Wear and 4.4 and at the moment they're trying to port it to the TS1 (don't hold your breath).

There's nothing on the market that comes remotely close to the current TS let alone this supposed TS2... and in the market I mean actually buyable / shipping!

Does this mean that us early adopters are going to be screwed with a non-working device while later adopters will have a fully functioning smartwatch (i.e. what the TS1 should have been)?

Now you are catching on.

Is Android Wear actually do anything other than showing pointless notifications???
I don't go to airports
I don't send SMS thats what whatsapp is for!
Wear is totally useless without your phone near you...
Oooo I have an email let me fish out my phone....
Oh don't look at my wrist flashing up when im holding your hand on a date ;p

Anyone have a working GB keyboard?

I downloaded the one from the market and it works but it seems small. Is it because this phone is narrow?

It's cuz our resolution is much higher than last generation's standard....welcome to the bleeding edge of technology. We pay extra to help iron out the bugs...
...I know, it doesn't make sense.

LoL Makes sense. I've noticed a few apps that are shrunk on our phones, like Speed Test.

[Q] Haptic Feedback

Does anyone know if the Nexus 9 will have a haptic vibration motor? The lack of one is one of the reasons I never considered getting either of the Nexus 7 models.
Hmm I wonder that too

Thanks… I have been enjoying crap for almost a year. Build quality is better than the Nexus 9 and I enjoy having 128gb of storage for music and videos.

How can you tell if build qualify is better? You held it in your hand?
relax all... who cares about device comparisons; specs mean nothing when it come to user feel...
in regards to topic, i would say no haptic feedback and to be honest it doesnt really bother me whether it is included or not these days. I can never seem to even notice vibrations when my phone is ringing. Not like the old days where a nokia vibration would near on rattle your teeth out
I asked Paul O'Brien on Twitter, who has a source, and he said it....DOES!!!!
Someone else here in another thread that already has it, says it does have haptic feedback.

Is it good? I am nervous about 2.0 because I was keep heard the purple complain that 2.0 is lag a lot.
Does 2.0 still have the ugly low bit ambient mode?
Still laggy and losing connection.!!!
Just got it here in Florida, USA. I left it churn on the start animation for 20 mins before I turned it off and back on again. Then it booted up fairly quickly and started the setup, which also worked fairly quickly. All of my old apps seem to be working, specifically Pujie Black, Wear Mini Launcher, the AppFour Suite, etc. I've been cringing reading the horror stories for months. Time will tell (kinda a pun to say that in a smartwatch post! ).

After several hours of setting it up and messing with it, and I have no idea what people are complaining about -- it's buttery smooth! Noticeably smoother than the previous version.
New AW 2.0 changed the looks completely
And OS is perfect now on ZW2
all good here

Need Help Removing Air Watch From Company Phone On Note 4....

Hey,
I have a note 4 from a company I no longer work for. It was in my drawer for almost a year. I played around with it and tried to wipe it but it wouldn't wipe because of Air Watch. I guess I made it worse when I disabled something I shouldn't which I think was the account for it. Now it stays stuck on the screen of Air Watch and do not know how to remove the company guarded info and just put the normal nougat or older os on there. Any help?

Hey, I was able to bypass the air watch screen and into the device. Is it possible to perform root at this point to delete the company info and install a fresh OS?

I don't think the Note 4 VZW version ever did gain root. Did a quick search and it looks like there was a bounty thread for it. Not 100% sure it ever got root though
