Maps voice volume issue with spotify - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 5

Hi all,
I ran into a very big issue with using maps navigation while listening to spotify (haven't tested other music apps). Basically, you set the voice navigation to full volume, and it resets back to its normal, low volume setting after making its first speech. It's impossible to hear over anything.
Any ideas??

[Q] Headphone Jack for music, Bluetooth Speaker for Navigation at the same time?

Is it possible, to use my AUX cable to play music like I always do, but at the same time! Use a bluetooth mini speaker to make the Navigation Voice much easier to hear.
Any ideas?
Rooted, with customer Kernel and Rom.
Yes it is possible only thing is when the next turn comes up it will shut off the music for a few seconds while it finishes the navigation command that is given via voice

So...is this just automatic? How would the phone know to use the bluetooth speaker for just Audio Navigation voice?

Vocally control mp3 player while on navigation

Hi,
is there an app that allows that ? What I want to do is to control an mp3 player with voice while a navigation app is in foreground. I'm in my car with Route66 navigation app running, and would want to go to next track by saying "next".

There is some way but not exactly that which You want. There are siri-like appa that have their own media player. You press on button and say e.g. next track. The other way is a headset control (if You use bt headset). You can.programm oit, that for example long press on the button switches the song (in Your player). I haven't seen an app that listens all the time

I think your best bet is to use the headphone button. If Navigation was to say 'Take the NEXT left' then you can see why it would cause problems for you.

Thanks for your replies, I will look into the BT headset solution.

Latest OTA and Navigation

Just trying to see if anyone else is experiencing the same issue I am having with Navigation and media when connected through 3.5mm jack.
When ever I'm listening to music through Google Music or power amp and I'm also using navigation at the same time the woman's voice comes through very distorted when giving voice directions. On music apps that actually get paused when guidance is being read you don't get the distortion but on apps that turn down the volume and play the navigation over the top of it you get a pretty nasty sound through the headphone jack. On apps like Doggcatcher the problem doesn't happen because the media gets completely paused.
I've tried this on Viper 1.0(works great, old OTA). Synergy(distortion), Stock with goodies 1.04-06(distortion) Mean Rom(distortion).. Anyone else getting this?

Unable to play music in full volume

Hey, is this only me or everybody is facing such issue
Whenever i play mp3 files in lg music player or even power amp in full volume, after some seconds volume automatically turns down displaying a dilogue for very short interval "media volume automatically turned down to protect your ears"
Because of this i am unable to enjoy mp3 files in full volume.
Do anybody has a fix for this?

Did you try turning it back up after the phone turned it down? Usually that message comes up the second I start playing music but I just turn the volume up after and it works fine

Yes, for some/very less tracks it works but for some it does not and always keeps on turning down( may be for those tracks whose default volume is just ok or quite high) but its really annoying to have the same problem in ligit songs.
What i have noticed is that in this handset the volume is already very low, so whats the point of Lg worring about hearing damage and trolling us

As I manage my mp3s in folders, I use Poweramp and Music Folder Player, which both have a sound engine capable of squeezing sufficient extra volume out of the phone.
You can control volume with the app "Headset Button Controller". However , JB reserves the long button press, so i configured a quadruple click for "volume up" when discovering this negative aspect of the JB upgrade.

Well, that too didn't worked for me. I wonder why its only me who is facing such problem, and nobody else is worried about it.
I am facing this in both mentioned player also however they are really capable of boosting the volume, BUT LG is far more capable of decreasing it.

Hey,
im facing the exact same Problem. Just flashed CM 11 to my LG lp p760 (beacuse CM 10.2 had the same problem) and still have to deal with it. I tried Poweramp and Appolo.
Phone Speakers/Headset are working just fine but as soon as i plug in my Aux-Stereo-Speakers the volume just goes down to about 50% but the display says its already on full volume and i cant turn it up.
CM 11 has in "kernel settings" the option to activate "headset boost" and if i activate it, the volume is very nice and loud but after like 30 seconds it turns down to even less than before, like 30% of the volume i want. i can then deactivate and activate the boost again to reach 100% volume but it keeps going down. Sometimes the Mediaplayer even crashes and the Music wont come out of the Aux-Speakrrs but the Handy instead.
Does anybody know any solutions? The problem did not occur without a Custom Rom.

[Q] Notifications interrupt music playback even on vibrate.

My phone is always on vibrate, but even then when I'm listening to music I still have the notification sound going off when I get a text or email. I tried disabling all sounds and the notification will still go off in my headphones regardless of what mode the phone is in. Any way to fix that?
+1 Seems a rather common problem and I have not been able to find a fix...
I think its a General android problem which if i remember correctly google said they have changed in Android 5.0 but thats months Away from us
There is a xposed module i think caled DO NOT DISTURB which prevents alot of things interupting music play
Sent from my D6503 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
I couldn't find that, but most of the apps I've found simply put the phone in silent/vibrate based on different events.
I wouldn't mind it if the interruptions were limited to Ringer mode, but lowering volume while on vibrate or silent? That just ruins the music experience.
