this is funny, i open this threads from my phone and screenshoot is mising, but if i open from PC i found the screenshoot..
for lockscreen i'll update asap, when i at home...
about UI, i think its just UI ported but idk, why on "about devices" said android 4.3, just framework editing or its really 4.3 idk.

Try gravity box or xposed modules,
If that didn't work search on note 3 forum on how to disable that..it is available

anyone else noticed that magnetic sensor is not working???
Is there anyway to permanently remove the following?
1) Sidebar
2) Smart Scroll
3) Smart Pause

Good ROM
Having used all the available ROMs, I can say that this is the best in terms of UI and Performance. Supercamera and Gallery is not there but can be extracted and installed. Camera app that is coming with the ROM shows only upto 6 MP. e-mail app is not in the ROM but Iinstalled Aqua pro which is the best email app. So far I find that performance on GSM, Data and Wifi are good. Gravity box is not working as expected because this is not plain ASOP but highly customize Samsung ROM. Some of the features like center clock, transparency of status bar etc... which I like are not there. Nevertheless, this ROM is rocking.

About sensor, yes most of custrom dosnt fix magnetic and compas. Only one custrom that really fix that, slx rom.
About gravity box, we all know about gravity box is not 100% compatible with touchwizz..
And im try to remove miss translate Vietnamese characters, do you have an idea how to fix that??

Yeah need to edit framework, untranslated brightness on notification, permanently remove sidebar, remove airgesture, remove smartscreen, all need framework experience...
But if you want disable sidebar temporary, just hold back soft button.

Native samsung multi windows is not working, just the sidebar for help you better multitasking...
But if you really want multi windows, you can use xposed modul named holo flying windows, still beta but good... Thx for our Singapore friends...

Install xposed, activate framework, restart your phone, go to download tab, search "holo windows" download and activate the modul, restart again..

at this moment we look only for advance functionality... which u think where SE / Sony mobile lacks... The wifi, notification fix, pre-rooted or batter efficiency is points which we are including in our beta releases.
at this moment we want to concentrate on feature like multi window or iphone calling screen, this are the few features which sony mobile dont have yet (Dont know about JB release).
Waiting for more innovative suggestions...

Theres an app for smartstay called iseeyou ..
JB is almost bugfree now... it would be soo awesome if u could base it on JB...
Id like the feature in which we can adhust brightness by sliding on the notification bar
Another thing that would be awesome is gesture controls .... I know about the app but those gestures are too complicated... I was thinking of something more like meego os... Like swiping from extreme left to right to switch to last used app... etc.
Also those new camera apps on htc and blackberry are awesome... in which the camera starts recording as soon as u open the app so that u can adjust the pics by rewinding the faces back in time... i know that was a horrible explanation but i hope u get it! That with zero shutter lag
And finally the gallery from note 2 where u can arrange the folder from the gallery itself!!

As we are implementing multiple windows into rom... nfinatemod will be first rom with multiple Launchers running same time...so this rom will have one sidebar launcher for select application which u want to use... gestures are efficient always we will think about it.
but this all suggestions from you are really helpful for us... we can think about them as we complete multiple windows functionality...
i will post screenshots of multiple windows as that part is ready for first test... so you can get understanding how it will enhance your way to use your SE phone.
regarding your all other suggestions... this Sunday official website is going live. i will create pole there with all suggestions... TOP 5 SUGGESTIONS will be included into first alpha release...
(Sorry guys i will like to add everything but we have other modifications too which we need to cover in alpha but remaining suggestions you can see in future releases.)

we are creating different UI than normal sony UI without using any launcher (Apex or stock)... we have our own launcher... UI will be something like MIUI but much better and different...

From the screenshots, this rom seems to be based off shendu as well. Does it have the same bugs, e.g. "flashing" lock screen when waking the phone from sleep?

I believe only the kernel is based on shendu's.
I have also installed this, but was wondering how to enable slide to lock before transition to pin unlock screen. A quick google mentioned a setting in RomControl's lockscreen settings but I can't seem to find it..

I just saw the pictures in this link https://plus.google.com/107204019190327452213/posts/3eAv2cK6Erb and i thoght this rom was like one that i had instal before that was russian app's and russian carathers on app's....How much ram did you get free with this Rom ?
Actualy i have B924, with 164mb of ram. Wondering if i should actualize or not

Given that the current shendu rom also has this problem and this rom uses the shendu kernel, it is probably a broken video codec.

I have an average of 100mb free ram. I am using Seeder and a memory booster and the performance is not bad. I guess it's up to you to decide.
Just run a titanium back up and if you don't like it, go back and restore apps.

There are few bundled apps. Gapps and some ad removal app are the ones i have noticed.

The ROM is really not battery hungry. That's one big plus.
And I don't have any fc or system reboot.
The only thing is, if the ROM boots it is optimizing the apps like you have flashed something.
Yesterday I flashed the Xperia keyboard, maybe that's the trigger to that bug.

i have the same after deleting some apps.so the xperia keyboard is not responsible
after some change and delete i can get 130 to 150 free ram

What have you changed an deleted?
Yeah I noticed too with rebooting the ROM it starts 'optimizing' apps which in my experience should only happen after you flashed something..
Also 3rd party camera apps like goggles or qr scanners don't work for me. Screen gets all messed up..
Oh yeah I also miss data toggle in ROM controll

unfortunately im getting crashes when trying to send hands free text messages or even voice searches..Google Search crashes every time for me
If you don't add the missing library to this install, your searches will fail...

There is a samsung voice app on your phone that you can turn on that will listen even if the screen is off. You just say "Hi Galaxy" and then you can do basically the same thing by asking it questions.

Maybe so for now. Maybe that affects other apps in the future? Maybe not.
Why not just grab the missing lib file and fix it correctly instead of working around the issue?

FYI I understand that there might be a bug with regard to Google Search that causes a FC so if anyone has already installed these and can confirm either way that'd be great

Your cam link have the missing 3 lib files? If not, a lot of the functionality will FC.
The search FC issue, 2 work arounds provided. Replace the lib file or change language.
Man can we just bundle up all the libs and what's needed so when I get home I can have some Google Experience fun

So I'm back home and re-installing this stuff.How come the hot word detection is missing all of a sudden? Hot word detection is checked in the box.I did everything I did this morning but now it doesn't work.

Tried it shortly but didn't like it too much. I wish it offered dock customizations and ability to hide apps in the app drawer.
Does anybody know why I get this message every app. 10 clicks on Home Button?
I have already clicked on "ALWAYS" Button many times to open Home via new Google Launcher, but it did not work.
I am using Alcatel Idol Mini - Android 4.2.2.
The missing lib file is what I needed to make this thing work right on my s3. Thanks for the help
Love the infinite screens. Loved left swupe was google now. Dislike 4x4 icons and crappy dock. In fact disliked so many parts of this crude attempt of a launcher that I just uninstalled. Apex, nova, next are just so much more polished. Google shame on you. I really expected far better than this.

I think the TouchWiz also uses the AOSP messaging app, so it should very well work. :good:

I can confirm this bug, not working on CM11 with stock SMS app.
Like many others said, you should add availability for the other icons from the status bar too. Maybe even add an effect like "wave flip". What I mean is: if you have 3 icons on the status bar (just an example, could be 2 or more than 3) you could create an effect that makes the first icon flip, then the 2nd, 3rd and so on while keeping the other icons static. This could work with blink too. Just an idea, but it would be good. Also you could add some options for the animations like repetition, time and others. Keep up your work!

Huh. It should work with no problem on a stock SMS app irregardless of the ROM. Can you check the app's manifest for the package name?

I will be adding support for email notifs and some third party app notifs.
And previews in the apps menu would be good, sure.

Yeah, the notifs doing a Mexican wave on the status bar would be pretty cool.:good:

There is no need to port when all the coding is already there and just needs to be activated

I have find a way to JUST enable but that not functionally working even I managed to turn it On even I can edit application from native setting. Right now busy with my ROM stuff later I will try to find what exactly missing.

i agree with dr ketan ,getting to Toolbox and enabling it is not difficult ( a launcher eg ..Nova launcher/longpress /shortcuts activity/settings /toolbox.) You can enable ,edit apps etc ,but cannot see it on homescreen .?
However if i look at /method ,i enabled other similar features it seems" right combo "has to be enabled, via shortcut settings ?
eg .i got Airbrowse( in stock picture app etc wave hand above screen to page ) working 100% ,Air call accept ( on stock call launcher, incoming call wave above phone to accept etc working 100% )
I could not get finger ( information preview with finger to work at first ,yes could enabled it ,but got it working by also enabling other related settings ) working ,but buggy /on /off now
Maybe other members can try " combo" and see ?( see screenshots for info )

It's funny. While porting Note 4 multiwindows and upsm features to my S4, i decided to port Toolbox by the way. Later i've found it doesn't work. More precise looking found a lot of missing Toolbox code in framework. Toolbox widget code is in framework, yes. But it's fully "isolated". It means there is no any Toolbox support code in framework like android.policy, services, framework2. So, pretty much the same as in S4.
Thus, devs who will enable toolbox, they need to port it from S5. It's not like change of couple lines.
Actually, Toolbox is a useless feature because it covers screen. After port Toolbox, i've tried to use it couple of weeks and found it inconvenient because i often need to move it around to get access the covered area. Finally i just disabled it. I think, Samsung also realized it's inconvenient and simply removed from Note 4 features.
There is much more convenient quick launch feature - the one in expanded notification screen. It requires the same amount of clicks (ok, one swipe instead of one click) and doesn't cover the screen.

Im not talking about enabling it via a adding in a line of code im talking about making the edits it is there but it needs alot of work to make it even useful im not saying it would be easy either ive looked and decompiled the whole rom there is toolbox but it will take alot to make it work
Probably hidden toolbox is even have better functions then s5 and probably they launch in s6. I think they want to make some features separated from s series and note series.
Yeah its too much time consuming but I also have interest to explore once get some time.

bottom ine is that samsung didn't want us to use it.....seems that those bastards are pretty good at encoding

No. Through a shortcut I got to Toolbox and when I turned it on nothing happened...

Toolbox isn´t dead, at least for S5 in the Lolipop preview is present and with all new functions, maybe that´s why is not present in Note 4.
