Has anyone managed to switch to ART on the z2 tablet. The option is not available in developer options, I tried manually but it wouldent boot. Anyone?

Just installed a custom rom on my Vodafone 858 and I'm wondering if there's a app or a easier way to turn off wifi/bluetooth and data connection instead of having to go to the settings all the time.
And is antivirus/firewall necessary on Android systems or very optional?
Why don't you just use the default Power manager widget? Just long-press on any of the home-screens>widgets>PowerControl

I recently purchased a Quantum7+ tablet (my first!) and wanted to try out encryption, but am unable to find the Personal ->
Security -> Encryption option mentioned in guides on the internet. The
Security settings page has only "Screen Security", "Passwords", "Device
Administration" and "Credential Storage" headings.
I've made Screen Lock password-protected and the device is plugged into the
mains and fully charged. I've rebooted since adding the Screen Lock password but to no avail. Any idea what might be wrong?
The Android version is 4.1.1. and am using the stock firmware version:
([email protected])_([email protected])_N2.59_V411.01_TL12
Does anyone have any idea why this could be, or whether the "Encryption" settings might be hidden away elsewhere?

Hmmm ... just got a reply from Tabtronics tech support confirming that Encryption is not available on this tablet, which is a bit confusing to me - isn't encryption all done in software on Android?

disable all applications screen overlay and try. or just go to safe mode and give full permission for that specific application

i had problems with autorizations as "overlay was detected".. and don't know which app was overlay.. finally I found it.. it was "Screen Filter" which is alway on to prevent retention.. disabling it made the trick

i`m searching since days for a solution for my Android car system.
It has Android 8.1.0 installed, i can access the filesystem via adb root, the system itself is not rooted.
I have two issues with the device.
since a factory reset, when booting the system it does start into the "normal" slide to unlock screen, before the reset it booted directly into the Car GUI.
I searched also for disabling this, but only found how to reset or delete the passwords, and disable it on old Android 2.3 4.0 or 5, but not on Android 8.
it would now be easy said to just disable it at the system security settings under Display lock, but here is the second issue, the option seems to have been disabled by the manufacturor.
the same is with some other Option menu`s that are missing at settings.
i`m not that firm with android os itself, so i can`t finde the right command or modification to change this.
can someone help me how to disable slide to unlock, and how to reactivate deactivated system settings ?

After installing Muiu 11 & Android 10 my lockscreen image was changed to a default one and I can't change it anymore. When I go the them options, the personalize button is greyed out and is not even showing the image I actually have on the lockscreen....any help? Ideas? suggestions?
