Hi, i'm sorry, but i can't ask questions in dev area, so i need t start here.
I can't get managed power amp to work on this rom.
I didn't install walkman and no xloud, but even then it doesn't work.
Has anyone a hint for me what i need to do?

I had this problem too ... tried reinstalling many times with different settings in aroma .... but powerAMP didn t work.
I think its a bug and it won t work until it is fixed

NO i got it fixed.
It went into the different addons and found, that with project "fluid" there are some files placed in the lib-folder which have to do with audio.
So i tried to install without the fluid package and now it works.
Then i removed the files that have to do something with audio from the fluid add on folder, and now i have, walkman, poweramp, and fluid patches working.!

Now, the last thing missing on your rom, is just a camera which has pictures with same quality than the original... Then it would be perfect
I don't want features and tools, i just need quality - i know what my camera was abled to do.
At the moment i'm using the stock android camera.
Other problem with this is, it shows always a 16:9 picture, even if i select 8mpx. The outcome is 4:3, but in the preview the picture is cut, and not as sharp, as the real output is then. So you never know if it is well focused or not, because in preview it s always not realy sharp.

Yes i just check it. It will be fix in Next Release wh comes thiw week-end The photos quality of CM for Xperi is really really bad.... ! Only Focal Camera have a good quality but didn't work on our cm10 device for now

Yes exactly, focal is just a FC on xperia neo. The real output pictures on xperia neo aren't sooo bad with stock camera... i just compared some pic's. Not so bad... minimal difference
Biggest Problem on stock camera: Preview 16:9, not sharp preview, and lot slower then cybershot camera.
Do you think that the 16:9 problem is just any xml or other config problem? If so, please tell me just what i need to change (or replace gallery.apk?), so that i don't need to reflash the whole rom (i've done some changes... )
Other small bug i found is (but i think its cm10 problem): GPS Problems - with Navigon it gets connection for 5 seconds, then looses, reconnect, lost and so on. Only if i start gps status tool before opening navigon, it's working. And the google maps arrow is spinnig around all the time - no idea what this problem causes.

Battery backup
It's an awesome rom. Very smooth. ROM gave me 2.5-3 hours of SOT (From 100%-0%) as I'm a heavy user and was watching FIFA World Cup online. For nominal use you could squeeze upto 4 hours of battery i think.
Two things i missed one the volume panel shortcut in quick settings (my volume buttons have gone bad) two the hardware key customization.

Haven't tested your havoc os but this rom is great for daily driver i am a medium user and getting awesome battery of 2 hours of sot considering my battery is bit damaged and for performance no complaints about that smooth af with android p looks its awsome?
Btwn customization is the only thing missing

I'm also using project beyond horizon mod with ex kernel manager
But can anyone suggest should i use pbh kernel too ? To squeeze more battery life ??

Guys if u are complaining about battery let me tell this, I made the tweaks patch for extreme performance. If u want battery life, go system/etc/init.d folder. Delete hmp and throttle file ajd reboot. It will turn back to stock values. In next update Im planning to add some battery tweaks

no wifi problem for me nor RIL signal problem.
amazing battery backup i got 5 hours of SOT on regular use with auto brightness on, wifi on 24 hrs
i have no problem with Bluetooth i have put it for test on my jbl speaker i had stable connections with little delay in latency buy i belive that is normal
no issues with whatsapp call either but normal call have a echo voice for person on receiver side

Stock media volume and call volume is too low ( FLASHING DOLBY ATMOS FIXED IT )
The person on the call hears his sound echo but i hear his voice perfectly fine.
Rom provides root option over adb only, if you need full root flash magisk. i dont consider it as a bug as it comes under personal preference.

I use the same rom and I have full root and magisk hide works , passes google safety apis . And how did you get to the 5hr sot on a single charge , I have an SOT of 3hrs35 mins on a single charge at 25 % charge remaining .

I think performance wise experience would be same but Poco will have a development community advantage over Sony, Poco will have many roms, customisation, mods etc etc.. But media consumption , screen quality, camera would be much better on Sony. It's your call, which type of experience you want since you started using Sony recently.
Well I am also buying POCO this sale only because of SD845 and active development community, mine current device is Samsung G S7, I know I am gonna sacrifice on display and looks of the phone but thats okay.

Yeah development community is very big advantage for me with poco.as far as camera is concern my search says it is not big difference between them both(except super slow motion of Sony) . But yeah I like screen and built quality of Sony a lot, what I dislike about Sony beside development is its flash light which is very low.flash light is very important for me. I use it daily 3-4 times in a day. Thanks for your reply p

however the involvement of Sony adds ZING to this question!
keeping specs short comings of (storage/ram/screen) of xz2 when compared to Poco f1 ASIDE.............
Remember! Xperias are Apple (iphone) of the Android world! , Sony Xperia Stockrom is fine Tuned with hardware like soul to body, the simple intervace having so much to offer as your make any xperia your daily driver is I must sayd unique Japanese touch!
- you will feel happy on the hardware specs sheet of poco once its in your hands but
- you will MISS sony Xperia Stockrom UI experience big time!
- PocoF1's display with bad viewing angles, is NOTING infront of Sony's Triluminos display backed up with Bravia Engine! ,
- also Xz1 has Stereo speakers and poco f1 don't

Yeah quite correct and clear post on topic in detail. DRM keys and deal with the devil is my real problem, also lake of custom ROMs and lake of community support makes me to buy Poco F1 over Sony Xz2. I am gonna by it tomorrow cheers

since MIUI8 , the dial has automatic CALL recording (GSM calls ONLY)
- only Button MIRROR is available in miui ( recent app style is TILES only (not oreo Stack)
- swip three fingers down has screen shot gesture, ( I don't thinks so power button has such thing )
- pressing power button twice may trigger torch (you can set this guesture from miui gestures) (since miui 5)
about custom roms,
- call recorder is embeded in most of them (gsm only)
- button mapping is also available but not in every rom! you should try RR however navbar can be tweaked in nearly all roms! (havoc, crdroid, RR are the best)
- hardware keys can be configured on deep level! power menu can have many or few options as per your configuration
- you can configure torch on power button toggle (i am on havoc)

since you said its your FIRST expeirence with MIUI, I don't want to be a bummer or wana scare you off from poco! but........ since you are my type of person who give importance to certain types of customizations then I am affraid you will NOT like Miui very much!
why ???
- MIUI (atleast on poco) have no KEYBOARD switch key in navbar, if you have two or more keyboards installed (gboard and/or swiftkey) everytime you will have to swipe down the notification find SELECT INPUT METHOD to change /toggle between keyboards! where on stock android and in all custom roms (LOS based or CAF based) have this feature appears in either LEFT or RIGHT (or both) sides of navigation bar (you can customize)
- miui navbar stays WHITE most of the times and for me its annoying!

- you cannot disable any bloatware! you must ROOT your device and have third part app to do that!

- notification method on miui is strange! , i noticed it puts LATEST msg from any one in the BOTTOM of that tile, for example if you recieve 3 msgs from 3 users on whatsapp apart few seconds each, stock android puts latest on top within WHATSSAPP tile, howeve miui puts it on bottom, so kept reading obsolete notification lines unless i became annoyed! , same case should be with emails too ( I don't remember that)
- miui has limited quick setting icons! i wanted to add toggle 3g/4g and usb tethering on Quick Setting Panel but i had to do that from netwrok settings always!
- due to modified vendor image, all custom roms have this BUG where if you tether 3g , the System ui craches or many com.android.phone starts crashing! so try to avoid usb tethering on 3g network!

- notification method on miui is strange! , i noticed it puts LATEST msg from any one in the BOTTOM of that tile, for example if you recieve 3 msgs from 3 users on whatsapp apart few seconds each, stock android puts latest on top within WHATSSAPP tile, howeve miui puts it on bottom, so kept reading obsolete notification lines unless i became annoyed! , same case should be with emails too ( I don't remember that)
- miui has limited quick setting icons! i wanted to add toggle 3g/4g and usb tethering on Quick Setting Panel but i had to do that from netwrok settings always!
- due to modified vendor image, all custom roms have this BUG where if you tether 3g , the System ui craches or many com.android.phone starts crashing! so try to avoid usb tethering on 3g network!

Hello there. We are here again with a new great rom. Personally, this is my favorite rom because of stability. It is an AOSP based and closer to pure AOSP rom. And I cant tell something more than "GREAT!". This rom is based on stablity and performance.

I dont have any mic problems. And WhatsApp bug is rarely exist, mostly stable for my usage. Exynos can only be stable as present

Great rom, but I have found some bugs...
The rom's performance is amazing, very smooth. But I have found some bugs
1.- Bluetooth is not correctly working (Fixed by flashing the bluetooth_fix.zip from other releases of LOS)
2.- The main mic is dead, (The top mic is working, but the one in the down part of the phone is literally muted)
*Update: I Think that the trouble with the principal mic is a mixer_path.xml...
*I Tried this fix: https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...ent/rom-aospextended-rom-v5-4-t3779910/page11 and it worked again, Now I Have recording sound from both of the mics of the device.
3.- Whatsapp Gif and Videos bug, (I Cannot send videos or gifs, but I can recive them)
Now, the only bug that I have faced and I cannot resolve is sharing videos and gifs through WhatsApp.
