What is the most common alternative? Viper4android? Most equalizers dont adapt hearing issues. Anyone?

Software to increase EARPHONE and LOUDERSPEAKER sound

Hi guys,
With new rooms comming around for our x10i, I ask to someone if knows a way to increase earphone and louderspeaker.
I know that is a problem with this equipment but, with new software coming around, certainly there is a way to change settings for that.
In my work I can't use headphone, so this solution is not good for me.
Can anyone help me, or is a problem that no has solution.
Is there any dev that could make a apk to make this possible?
Does I have to buy a new smartphone?
Regards

Any ROM's based on CyanogenMod should have DSP Manager included. You could use that to increase the volume.
Edit:
You could also try looking for Louder Volume Hack in the android market. It's a paid app and I'm not sure if it'll even work with our phone.
DSP Manager do not really increase volume, just have Equalizer and Bass boost
Also louder volume hack will not make much difference as we do not have a custom kernel. However, DSP Manager does make a little bit of difference with the equalizer set right

DSP manager / CM9

Hi there.
How to manage DSP on Cianogen 9 ROM?
I tried DSP manager and Awesome Beats but they don't work...
Tks!!
DSP Manager works fine for me as long as I'm running CM9 kernel. If you use another kernel chances are it won't work unless it's supported on the kernel side. If you're using Siyah, don't expect CM9 DSP Manager to work anytime soon; Gokhan is too busy to get it working.
Edit - If you're using a music app with it's own EQ/plugins, you probably won't notice DSP Manager unless you have EQ set to flat & any settings which 'colour' the music off.
Further edit - With Beats, I doubt you'll notice DSP Manager no matter what you do given how ridiculously bassy they are.
I'm using CM9 ROM and it doesn't work...

try clearing data/cache of that app and see if it wrk's
Already done, no luck for me...
Just use fe. PowerAMP for music and/or Equalizer for overall eq...
Got them, but i can say the result will never be like using the DSP, dynamics and frequency range are so much limited...
Rubbish. Clean your ears out.
Poweramp's EQ & other settings you can use to colour music are much better than DSP Manager. And get some decent headphones as well, that might help
Dear, I've been using Poweramp and Equalizer for years.
1st there's no compression, and compression is mandatory to get something good off the worst yamaha this mobile integrates.
Then, all effect are not so deep like with DSP, it seems that DSP uses some hardware aids.
I use Bose in-ear, except for low frequencies they're not so bad...
Common sense says if you have a problem with CM9, you ask in the CM9 discussion thread. But if you want to sit in this thread & hope someone comes along & helps you with a problem that seems to be only happening for you, be my guest.

Well, you're right.
I asked before directly on Cyanogen forum, but no solution at the moment...

can yu please explain what yu meant by ''dsp using hardware aids '' ??
I mean hardware DSP...
I've tried many different dspmanager apks and libs and never managed to get any working apart from DSP Manager V1 which if I remember correctly was included in the release candidates of CM9. That still works if you take the apk from one of the RC builds and overwrite the one in CM9.1 and possibly other CM9 related ROMs.
A better solution though was to flash this instead - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1709497
Even though this is for a different model of phone, it gives you the latest version of DSP Manager on CM9.1 on the SGSII and it works perfectly.
Give it a try but remember...do a backup first before flashing!

[Q] Low sound

Hello.
Im using this rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1903162
and the latest Dorimanx v 7,23 kernel.
The problem i have is that the sound out from spotify is very low, i have done the "hack" in "extweaks" to boost the sound levels and in all other programs (youtube, music player etc) the sound is quite high, but not in spotify.
I have tried to re-install the app but no difference is made.
Anyone have any idea of what the problem might be?

If it's only an issue with Spotify & volume is fine with every other app, what does logic tell you ?
Possible solution
Had this problem too, somebody else mentioned here as well. Found solution for me was to deactivating sound enhancements in dsp manager. Hope this works for you too

Audio FX for CM12 Lollipop doesn't work, alternative solution?

Hi,
I have the last cm12 lollipop on my s4 mini. Everything it's working, but i have a problem with audio fx and the equalizer. I listen music with Spotify and Beats headphones and when i turn on the equalizer, it doesn't work. Don't work bass and surround options. Now i flash KK Stock Rom and the equalizer working 100% with bass. I tried to disactive Aufio FX from CM12 but i recived everytime "Audio FX has arrested". The same problem i had when i installed other equalizers, but without resolving this problem.
There are solutions? Can someone help me?
(Sorry for English error, i'm not from UK or USA states).

What Beats do you use? What nightly are you on? Or are you using an unofficial build?
Sora.
I use Beats Solo 2 but i tried with normal headphones too.
Yes, it's a nightly, i don't think last updates the equalizer's problem is adjusted.
Can you help me? Because the CM12 are perfect! Thank you

Follow the steps, install all 3 files. It should work fine.
Once you install and reboot, do the settings in viper app once and forget. Do not open the app again otherwise it will ask for update.
Great sound quality by the way against audio fx.
remove audio fx (or any other sound driver) before installing any of those files.
Cheers
I tried but there aren't changes, only more bass but not as in 4.4 KK. Thank you.
I flash CM12 and root, uninstall Audio FX and flashed the 3 zip files. I open the app and istalled drivers, but it doesn't work, so i enabled every options what i found.
When i listen to music with stock music there aren't any problems but viper doesn't work. When i use Spotify the same results, viper doesn't help and opening the app the music stop playing.
Thanks

Viper4android users.. Hi

Anyone who can share some key settings to tune up..
What music?
What headphone use?
You can download profiles and test, when you find a good one mod this to your like.
In https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-3/themes/treble-n-trebleno-rootkk-piefire-t3836465 you find some IRS and other mods... I recomend it.
