[Tuto] [Xposed] How to grant the status bar at the UI of an application - LG Optimus L9 P760, P765, P768, P769

Hello, in Android 4.4 Kitkat u could see only a few applications, the color of the status bar accorded to few applications. as Sliding SMS . So I did some research to be able to grant the status bar in all applications.
For those , you need root, Xposed installer, color picker (from the play store), and module " Tinted status bar" .
Tinted status bar lets you choose the color of the UI , some applications are already granted the status bar as the playstore .
If the status bar does not fit , or some applications properly, you can do it yourself with Color Picker, you just need to make a screenshot of the application you want to give the status bar , and then go to color picker and touch UI to get the hex code to change the color of the status bar .
For some apps like youtube or other, if the UI is white or grey, dont forget to make the color icon of the status bar black.
If you have any questions do not hesitate
Here are some screenshots below .

Very good. I like a lot this theme.

Can't fix that as of now. It's because the keyboard is its own miniature "app," and black is the default status bar color.

[MOD][XPOSED] Custom Status Bar Opacity [1.0][HTC 4.0.3+]

New Xposed Mod: Custom Status Bar Opacity
This tiny mod makes the opacity of the status bar (when it is transparent in lock screen or launcher) easily configurable from the mod's UI without reboot. Notice that it will not change anything if the status bar is not transparent at all (e.g. in apps).
=> This helped me getting white status bar icons better readable on bright launcher backgrounds but as well lets you make the status bar permanently solid or fully transparent.
Limitations
Works only on HTC stock-based ROMs version 4.0.3 and higher using Sense launcher (simply does nothing on other devices)
You MUST accept that you use any modification at your own risk
If you want to try it, follow these steps:
If not done yet or included in your custom ROM, install the Xposed framework as described in this thread (requires root)
Install the attached APK and activate the module in the Xposed installer (this is also described in the framework thread)
Reboot

Code:
[B]1.0[/B]

Hope you enjoy and let me know. Great thanks go to @rovo89 for this fabulous framework.

It works indeed on stock sense launcher, but it doesn't do anything in adw launcher.
Is there any way to get it working with this launcher too?
Many thanks

I'm afraid not with version 1.0 or a quick solution based on it. I'm currently working on bringing this to Samsung's TouchWiz with a more generic approach, which makes it very likely to be working in ADW launcher as well. But this may take a while, so please stay tuned.
By any chance making this mod for Galaxy note 2?

Transparency on TouchWiz status bar works differently. This is HTC specific, since it covers the Sense-specific switch between transparency in launcher and no transparency in apps. Certainly, it could be done for TouchWiz with not that big effort, but has low prio for me currently. However, I have a device running TouchWiz, so make myself a note to look into it sometime.
Works great ! thank you !

Sweet! Looking forward to it!
If you add some kind of option for a solid black status bar this would literally be the perfect mod.

Did you try to tap the mod in Xposed installer, which opens the mod preferences, and to slide the opacity slider completely to the left (0%). This will make your status bar solid black.

It only makes it solid black on the home screen and in the launcher, it reverts back to the gradient in apps.
It is working great and looks nice.
Thanks for your great mods

Great mod works perfectly... Would you be able to create one that disables the messaging app from notifying on delivery reports??? I want to have delivery reports on but the notification on the status bar gets so annoying!!
Not work on ARHD 10.2 with Dark Theme

[Q] Hiding Navigation Keys

Hi there, noob question, just checking - is there any way to hide navigation keys and make the status bar transparent without the root? /I think not/. I'll do a root for this purpose if I have to, but could anyone please navigate me as what to do next? Don't want to go custom rom, so I guess once rooted I go for some app that hides the navigation keys and makes the status bar transparent? Sorry if this is really basic, don't have any experience with this.
Root needed

Ya you need to root your phone to hide the nav bar.
After you're rooted, use this app to configure which application you want to go fullscreen
Use this application to hide the nav bar on google play : Full!screen
When 4.4 is available for Sony Xperia Z Ultra, you can make the navigation bar and/or status bar transparent. Numerous launchers offer now the ability to hide the status bar. No root required.
You can do as I do. Use the Xposed module Tinted Statusbar. This is how my statusbar and navbar looks like.
Or you can use one of several other modules that also does the job just fine.

How can I change the background of my taskbar icons ON THE LEFT?

I'm trying to change the background of my app icons in the status bar. I can use gravity box to change the bar itself, but the background of the icons themselves stays black. I have an app named "Trust". Can't see what the droid is holding in the icon...
Gravity box let's me change the background of the clock and signal icons, but leaves my icons alone...
I am looking for a non gravity box solution, hence the post is here.
Thanks in advance!
Oh yeah, using Stock 4.1.1 in a Huawei Valiant. MetroPCS

Tinted Status Bar [Xposed] Color Codes

Tinted Status Bar has been out for a long time now and despite its popularity its no longer being updated which means we have to take matters into our own hands and set the color codes manually to get the perfect color coding like in Android Lollipop.
Here I will list the color codes of apps in which tinted status bar didn't work
Add these color codes by going in per app tints and select the app and add them in All activities unless a specific activity is specified in brackets "(...)". Incase a specific activity is mentioned, only add in it.
Chrome
*ffe2e2e2
Android Device Manager
*ffd1d1d1
Google Docs (com.google.android.apps.docs.app.NewMainProxyActivity)
*ff4089f6
Google Slides (com.google.android.apps.docs.app.DocListActivity)
*fff6b400
Google Sheets (com.google.android.apps.docs.app.DocListActivity)
*ff0b9d58
Facebook
*ff3b5b98
Gmail
*ffdb4334
Google Play Games
*ff4f8027
(com.google.android.gms.games.ui.destination.games.GameDetailActivity)
*ff242424
(Note: For Google Play Games, add the first code in all activities, and the second in the activity mentioned)
Google Play Music
*ffef6a00
Google Play News and Weather
*ffffffff (turn icon color to ff000000)
Google Play Store
*ff6a9f38
Google +
*ffdb4336
Hangouts
*ff0b9d58
Google Keep
*ffffbf09
Google Messenger (com.google.android.apps.messaging.ui.ConversationListActivity)
*ff0089d1
Mobogenie (com.mobogenie.activity.DownloadManagerActivity)
*ff008cd1
Sound Cloud
*ff242424
Twitter
*ff55afef
Youtube
*ffe71f13
These codes will make the status bar match the action bar, if you want a stock lollipop kind of feel, go in overlay options and select the semi transparent overlay, it will give you slightly darker status bar as compared to action bar, as in Lollipop.
If you are using a Navigation Bar, tick the link status & Nav bar option in default settings for best results.
For those apps which do not follow a specific color code or do not have an action bar we need to determine a default colour, so go in default settings and change the following:
Default Status bar
*ff242424
Default Nav Bar
*ff242424
If you are using the Google Keyboard with Material Light Theme, then also change the following in default settings:
Navigation Bar Tint (IM)
*ffe3eaea
Navigation Bar Icon Tint (IM)
*ff2e373c
For Material Dark Theme on Google Keyboard, change to this:
Navigation Bar Tint (IM)
*ff21292b
Navigation Bar Icon Tint (IM)
*ffe3eaea
If you want codes for other apps not mentioned here, download the color picker app from playstore and open your target app, take a screenshot and then open color picker, load the screenshot and touch on action bar to get your code, enter that in tinted status bar to set it, also post it here in comments to help others!
Cheers!
Did you know that Tinted Status Bar has a feature called "Notification Color Picker"? It automagically detects app color and let's you set the color per activity or to the whole app.
So you don't need to mess with color codes, color picker apps, screenshots, etc. You just launch the notification color picker and you can configure 20 apps in 60 seconds.
Yes that's what I used to know about the activity names, but that's all it can do, tell activity name, after that you still need screen shot and pick color and manually set that color to the respective activity

I thinks you better install Flat Style Colored Bars, it performs better than TSB
Doesn't work for us who are stuck on Jellybean

Are you kidding? You can add the color directly from the notification, see the attachments.
Add app, add activity and apply color. You are making this way more difficult than it is, man.
OK just tried it, its really amazing and yes it takes much lesser time, I really didn't knew about it, thanks dude!

That's because this module doesn't recognize the second Sim, it was made for single Sim devices in mind, my second Sim doesn't change color too, anyway you can still use gravity box to give it a color of your choice, though it won't change automatically

How to remove status bar gradient

Hey guys,
is anyone out there who can tell me how to get rid of the black gradient in the status bar?
For example in the picture it should only be in red color like the app is at the top. No gradient.
Thanks

I've been looking for a way to do this for a while and I figured out a work around
What you will need
-xposed installer
-a module called tinted status bar
First install the module and reboot ... Now go into the module and go to settings UNCHECK respect kitkat api
... Then go to Google in the apps list and change all activities to number 0000000 in both nav and status bar.... The find the lock screen app and do the Same the result should be this
If I need to install the framework it's not gonna work. I am not gonna root my phone. THat's the tricky part of it.
