I was in an ill mood last night after work. I didn't realize it until after I made the post.
I don't mean to be a jerk, but it seems I came off that way. I don't mean to make others follow my views, I just want some civility and respect for each other.
For those thinking I am here trolling because I don't even have a Rezound... I do have one, got it on the penny sale, I just haven't got around to changing my sig. Got a bit lazy about that.

I think you were right. People don't have patience.
After going through 5 different 4g devices LG Revo, Tbolt, 3 Bionics before get a working one the Rezound I wasn't mad and was rewarded in the end. So I can wait forever for s-off or custom roms, so people just need to learn patience. Even if this phone doesn't get I'm happy.

I have to agree, After using my own CleanTOOL 2.1.1 I am pretty happy wit the device as is. Of crouse I am dying for the ability to showcase my ROM building skills but... I cna hold tight unitl someone figures it out. I got plenty of other cool devices to play with in the meantime....

People mistook my other thread, but is isn't their fault as they do not know me personally and my personality. It can be hard to get some things across in type.
The other thread was very tongue in cheek, a sense of false anger to stress my frustrations at the state of affairs.
I was in a bit more foul mood last night though, normally I would not have started a whole new thread.
Hey man, we're all a bit frustrated because we're used to devices that are readily-rooted and can do whatever we wish with them. However, times are changing and technology is becoming more advanced, such as the case with HTC's new bootloader on the Rezound. If we have a few good dev's working on it that haven't cracked it yet, then it's definitely locked up pretty well.
And I understand the frustration you had regarding the whiners. Yes, I need root just as bad as anyone else, but it's the raw potential of this phone ONCE s-off comes that makes me hold on to it and not return it.
Once we get it... we'll make it RAIN up in here!

It's nice to see people taking responsibility for what they put on here. Everyone has an opinion that they are entitled to. Bashing others for not sharing the same opinion is childish. I came from the Thunderbolt and that forum got bad enough I just left. It's good to see most people here are grown ups.
I am excited to see what the awesome devs that are working on this phone are going to cook up for us. If we could all show them appreciation for the unpaid time they spend for our enjoyment, they may want to spend more time looking for that elusive S-Off solution.
They work hard for hardly anything. Some kind words of encouragement and appreciation will go a long way. They will also see this as more of a community than a hood with graffiti and tags on every wall.

If I want others respect and to be respectful then I must do the same. That means admitting my mistakes.
I work aviation and had to fix other people's screw ups last night (and last several days) and screw ups in the aviation world are a big deal, so I take it seriously. When one person is a cause of many problems I get irked... Combine that with the fact my Internet was down all night and tethering was acting up so I had to use the phone to get online... Just a storm of irritation that caused me to use poor judgements.
At least you guys don't hate me for it.

Avionics tech... I am out of the military now, working private and military contracts now.
160th... Sounds familiar but not sure... I was in MALS 29 in New River.

As our boards have been a bit slow (for the exception of our amazing off-topic thread ), I began playing around on the Android General forums. I came across a thread a while back from an XDA member who creates custom signatures and custom ROM posters. I have had him make me a few (I like simple, clean sigs). He recently made one as a gif that has flashing lights on a car. I've been so impressed with his work that I wanted to share the link with you guys. I know we all like having sigs, and thought maybe you guys would like something tailored to your likes and interests. I also wanted to bring this to the attention of our devs, in case they want a badass ROM poster (or could be mod posters, etc) for their work.

I've been reading through the general forum, I was actually heading to the market place, lol. I came across the number one topic which was the "How to apply for Recognized Contributor" status, So had a look see, and I gotta say, I've seen no recognized contributors in our forum (odd right?). Now I was gonna do some recommendations of a few people that deserve the status, imo, but apparently the individual has to agree to want the status, so do you think there's a few members here that deserve the status? From the requirements and what not, IMO, the following deserve the status:

I like sense as well, so don't get all mushy in here, lol.
But vanilla is pretty sweet as well, but the option to have both is even sweeter .
Looking forward to seeing the screens then soon enough the rom ziggy.

I personally don't agree with giving a "thanks" just for the hell of it.
To me getting a thank means I helped out in some way or another.
This would also be the reason I give a "thanks".
Why just give someone thanks for no reason unless they've somehow contributed. No?
The more thanks you have the more credibility you have.
It's a badge that you can wear proudly.

Sorry, just the way i think. Sometimes my thoughts aren't very optimistic.
I was so busy this past weekend that I didn't even think to get on XDA. Hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving.

For me its an addiction, I must check XDA at multiple times throughout the day for new updates.

Same here, the worst part about the holiday was the lack of activity around here. Not that I expect somebody to be building ROMs during a holiday, but I've got the shakes.
Sometimes you have to be smarter than your smartphone.
