[Q] Question: CnM Android problem (4.1) - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
I have here a CnM Tablet pre-loaded with 4.1 and there is a huge problem.
I previously installed Connect Bot for SSH use and noticed I could connect to the Tablets root. (I think its important to mention it was pre-rooted by the manufacturer). I started to look around on the system partition at thing i might recognize and i noticed a program called httpd. I assumed this was a web server app so i ran it. Nothing happened so I panicked and killed the app. This is where my problem starts. The tablet froze. I had hard shutdown. I restart the thing and it has factory reset. I thought this was just an ok thing where i could reload all my existing apps on. Nope, the internal memory doesn't exist i.e. I goto Memory and Storage to look at what is being used. I see the Memory card, ext1 (An external memory card), and there is blank space with question marks which are supposed to show the system memory.
In light of this, I restarted and the same thing happened. I have attempted a recovery via recovery mode: nothing. I even cleared the cache.
My question is: What could have gone wrong and how do I fix it?
Apps installed at time:
BusyBox, Connect Bot, 2X Remote Desktop Client, Adobe AIR, Adobe Flash Player, Advanced Task Killer, ADW.Launcher, bvnC, AndSMB, Barcode Scanner, BatteryLife, BBC Iplayer, BBC Media Player, BBC News, Chess Free, ColorLights, DroidEdit Pro, Ebay, ES File Explorer, Facebook messenger, SnapSave, Snapchat, Falldown classic, Flappy Birds, FING NEtwork tools, Firefox beta, Mozilla firefox, Hackers Keyboard, (Google Play-Music-Games-Services-Movies etc etc), Hungry Shark, Kingsoft Office, Maps, MetOffice Weather, Minecraft, Multi-touch paint, oRBot, Sense Analog Clock, skype, snake 2k, superUser, Tank Hero, trap!, VLC For android, VMWare Horizon view client, Youtube.

I just received my G Tab yesterday (non-woot) and so far I love it. I installed CWM then flashed Vegan. Something about it didn't feel right, so I switched over to TNT Lite 4.4. I also installed Launcher Pro and have figured out how to use it to customize my "desktop" a little. Basically I have a few random questions.
1) Is there a way to disable the "dock" screen?
2) Is there a way to disable the lock screen that comes up after the screen has turned off?
3) Any recommendations on a good replacement for MS Office that can open, edit, and create documents that are compatible with Office?
4) Any recommendations on a good remote desktop app I can use to access files and software on my laptop?
5) Any recommendations on a compact, portable, hopefully inexpensive Bluetooth mouse?
6) How do I copy files from my laptop to my external micro SD card? Do I have to put the micro SD card into my laptop, or can I leave it in the tablet and copy them somehow? When I plug the tablet into my laptop it only appears to give me access to the internal SD.
7) Any other random apps I should look into getting? I plan to use my G Tab to basically replace my laptop, which I only ever use for surfing the web, email, facebook, etc.
8) In particular, any particular apps I should get for playing video/audio files?
9) Is there a tutorial somewhere I can read about how to find movies and get them onto my tablet to watch?
Sorry to barrage you with so many questions. Feel free to answer none, any, or all of them! Thanks in advance for your help!!!

Ill answer what I can:
3) I use and really like Office suite Pro. Its 15 bucks but it is solid. You can try the demo version for 30 days for free and then decide how you like it.
4) I use "dropbox" to sync files between my tab and my two computers. Plus it backs everything up online so you can access them anywhere. Great App!!!
7) I also recommend the Mozilla web browser. I like it a lot better then the stock one it comes with. Also, Pulse is a great app if you like to read the news/bloggs often.
8) I have heard a lot of people use dolphin to play video but I have yet to try it. I have had trouble myself playing videos. Be sure you get the adobe 10.2 download so Youtube works.
Hope this helps.

[Q] Re: Allshare Play

I've installed Allshare Play and have it up and running, but I have a few questions I am hoping somebody might be able to answer for me.
1- Everytime I access the local host on the PC, I get a message from my browser saying, "Intranet Settings are turned off by default"
I then have two options: a) Don't Show This Message Again or B)Turn on Intranet Settings. Does anybody know if there is any reason why I should "turn on intranet settings"? IE: Security, etc.
This is the control for content that is accessed on the same network, via wifi. Such as my GT 10.1 through the regular Allshare app or from another PC.
2- There are menus in the app for Music, Video and Files. Under Files, all file types show. However, if I start accessing a media file there, it begins a download bar (doesn't download to my phone permanently unless I choose to.) If I choose from the video menu, no download bar, just a very long wait (even with FIOS internat on my home computer and LTE on my phone). Is this basically doing the same exact thing? Just downloading it enough to view. Music comes on instantly, video obviously takes longer.
3- I can only access files from the AllShare Play app, nothing shows in the gallery. I assume this is correct.
So far it comes in handy and is fun. Definitely makes good use of unlimited data when out. Anybody prefer any other apps that work better, etc. I've heard of Polkast and a few others. Anything more optimized, etc. than Allshare Play?
Thanks!

[Q] Link2SD Help!!

Hey I have a rooted Galaxy Ace GT-S5830D, and wanted to use Link2SD to move apps to my SD.
I have two problems, one is that when i moved my downloaded apps from the phone to the SD, the internal memory seems to get even lower. The second is that I need an opinion if I put the apps in the SD card are right.
I also uninstalled some bloatware, because i didnt like it. So I found replacements that made the phone seem like more of an ICS style phone. For example, i got rid of the camera, calculator, the music app, and gallery. I replaced them with Camera ISC+, ISC Calculator, Google Play Music, Gallery ISC. After this my internal memory seems to be taken up by more memory. So i put all these apps into the SD. Then I put the Maps into SD, and also the Play store.
I dont know whats wrong here.
I also need and opinion if i put the right apps into my sd. All the apps in my SD now:
Facebook
TextPlus
Skype
PicsArt
Google Play Series
Maps
Google Play Music
Snapchat
Clean Master
Ymail
Kik
Antek QuickSettings
Player Pro
Gallery ISC
Messaging Lite G
ISC Calculator
AndroZip
Camera ISC+
Opera Mini
Link2SD
Groove IP
ALso forgot to mention, that I have Clcok JB+ instead of the normal Clock in gingerbread, it is not on the SD because I like the Clock widget it comes with. There is also Eye in the Sky on the phone, along with ADWLauncher EX. ISC Keyboard, Minimalistic Text, Widget Pack (Player Pro), Play Store, Street View,
Also, Can someone tell me how to optimize my phone to get the best out of it. I have all these replacements of the bloatware because I really like ISC. I am trying to get a custom ROM but for now this is the best i can do. Please help me, Thanks.

Why browser tabs are constantly reloading afer moving browser to foreground

Hello
Why the tabs in the browser are reloading after moving it to the foreground?
Succession of actions:
1) I opened the browser & some tabs (for example, five) inside it.
2) I opened some website inside each tab.
3) I pressed "Home" button, returned to the desktop (main screen).
4) I runned some other apps.
5) I let my phone to rest for a while.
6) I opened the browser again (by tapping the shortcut on the desktop or selecting the browser in the list of the recently runned apps).
7) My browser reloaded the contents of the each tab when I trying to accessing it.
What is the reason of the behaviour described above in the p.7?
Sometimes, when the amount and the "power" of apps, mentioned in the p.4, were relatively small, there were no reloading of the pages during the second access to the browser. Sometimes, after the relatively small system load during the p.4, but relatively big "rest period" during the p.5, the pages reloading rook place in the p.7.
What's the problem? The lack of memory resources or are there some kind of "invalidation period", after which the page content considered to be obsolete and has to be invalidated?
I bought Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro 1.5 weeks ago hoped that this issue stayed in the past, but it didn't.
P.S. As far as I heard, the Android OS has quite another RAM management model than the Windows one. In Windows the RAM block, assosiated with the app X, remains "busy" and locked from using by other apps for the period of the app X execution, up to X closing, while in Android there are no clear and distinct app closing, only moving to background take place. So then Android needs a RAM and there are no free RAM of the desired amount, the system unloads the "oldest" app in background and uses the RAM block, previously assosiated with this app, for the new purposes. If so, are there any ways to "lock" some apps (such a particular browser) in order to prevent their unloading and avoid the tabs reloading then re-accessing them?

SGP321 Tablet

I purchased from new, the above tablet in 2013. Has worked perfectly until now. It runs the latest android 5.1. It remains a standard tablet, not rooted. There's plenty of internal storage memory and I use a SD card which runs at 50%
I have set a security pattern which is used to access the tablet. When I switch on and swipe my pattern, the screen goes into a frenzy and I can't access anything. Apps open up, settings menu flashes up and down the screen.
Seems to charge ok and seems to retain its charge. The only thing I've done recently is loaded Facebook, Messenger, (both have since been deleted) Classic Solitaire and a third party Classic Notes app.
Can anyone help
