I think the recovery has been flipped and the issue is not only with my aroma installer
knock knock no longer working
Knock knock feature is a part of the LG Home Screen. If you select a relacement home screen(Samsung, Xperia) knock knock will no longer work. If you like knock knock then select Stock Home during aroma install.
Setting FC when selecting home screen
Settings is linked to Stock Home, if you have selected an alternative it will FC.
Setting FC when selecting wallpaper for lock screen
I think this is due to linking to Stock Gallery app.

using e450
wallpaper can be changed directly form homescreen but cant be changed from sys settings and same with locksceen tab in sys setting when u hit on it settings are unfortunately stooped

DO NOT WIPE SYSTEM
this modifies you existing system.
if your bluetooth, wifi ect is working it will carry on working.
if you bluetooth, wifi ect is not working it will carry on not working.
no bugs so far. only if you select an alternative home screen during the install. you will not be able to set the wallpaper threw settings. you must set the wallpaper from the home screen itself.

NFC crash again and again. LG-E460...
I have a little problem after installing this on my E455 dual. The sim cards are inactive and when I tap to open the status bar menu, the System UI application stops. Therefore I cannot call and enable sim cards. How to fix it? Does is mean, that E455 dual is not supported?

it was made for 1sim phone's so it might not work

No problem, I already reverted to stock using official LG tool. I guess that now I cannot give more information, but I would like to help with the support for my phone.
I installed it without removing any bloatware and without installing extra apps, just set the Trebuchet launcher for the first time and Stock launcher in second install.

Note that I already updated all applications and integrated into system.
The problem is caused by The LGsystemui it was modified using the stock systemui from the e450.
An easy fix for this problem is to flash slimsystem, when you get to the modifications menu of the aroma installer(lockscreen, xperia apps,clock etc) do not select systemui.
I will have a look into porting systemui to e455

System UI is user interface (hence UI ) an app that controls all the general settings including sim slots
We do NOT touch baseband at all .. and yes its different frequencies in some countries (but these days phones are made so they handle most of them if not all)

Apps2sd Instructions
- Ext Partition MUST be on the internal SD card formatted as ext2 as a primary partition after your fat32 partition. Use easeus partition manager.
- Note: It's reported that reflashing this rom over it's self after installing apps frees up more space, so if your data partition is getting filled, reflash this without wiping and you should have a lot more space free, some apps may force close, just re-install them
- Some apps & games like Angry Birds or Pocket Legends install to the sd card right from the market,
this bypasses the roms a2sd and uses froyo's which we all know eventually fills up space.
So what you have to do is:
Menu>Settings>Applications>Manage Applications>SD card
Move all listed back to tablet. Reboot.

After the first installation I had a strange faillure: Whatever app I installed, it DID install, but the Tablet rebooted immediately after.

yes will work on bestbuy version, and installing the keyboard you should be able to install it by putting on your sd card use file manager locate it and install if not, try root explorer and move to /system/app
@joenilan first of all i love your roms. But i got a small problem with your new one (froyofusion R2). The battery indicator in the status bar stucks while charging.
The battery-Status in the lockscreen works well.

thanks man, download the new framework-mod from the first post, fixes that, and mostly everything else, also themed the launcher a little bit, and changed the fonts
Trizet ROM can do multitouch, it can zoom with two finger, meanwhile yours can't, can you fix that? When i use trizet ROM with data2ext capable, it's always got me stuck in some program and program close because may be because some corrupt data, when i use your a2sd it runs smooth, but can't do multitouch. May be if you fix that, your ROM will get perfect.

If you are using the Best Buy S7 then no, multi touch will not work. The resistive touch screen can not support multi touch gestures.

UMTS gone
I have installed this ROM, it's running like a charm.
But... Somewhere in the process I have lost the ability to connect to UMTS.
Only options are GSM and WDCMA.

2 small mods for VibeROM v7 by QuBeX:
framework-res.apk:
Removed Emergency call button from stock Lock screen (it's visible if you set security lock type to pattern or PIN). I'm already tired of unintentional emergency call attempts.
Settings.apk:
Added battery usage stats in System settings (Device section).
You have to download file(s) and manually replace system apk(s) with them. Yes, you ought to know how to do this (or google it). These mods are completely independent, you may apply any one of them.
framework-res.apk is for \system\framework\, permissions are rw-r--r--. Device will reboot on change.
Settings.apk is for \system\app\, permissions are rwxrwxrwx. I had to deodex the file, so it's slightly bigger than original one.
BTW, anyone using this “battery mod” please report if battery stats seem reasonable. Cause I’ve seen a number of times when stats were a mess and had obvious errors (like not listing 3D game I’ve played for 2 hours). Maybe that’s the reason why Lenovo hided battery usage from settings (it’s just hidden in fact, not removed). Maybe we should check for alternative power usage stats instead.
QuBeX, you mentioned inverted play store in features of your v7, but it’s just plain white for me from start. Is it really inverted in your K900?

Did any of you noticed that 2 things:
- Wifi connecting to the open networks (supermarkets, and so on...) is sooo slow, and often the phone doesn't even connect to them...
- The GPS doesn't work correctly also... It takes him about 2-3 minutes for finding ONE satellite... And the other two isn't anywhere...:-/

Hi guys, I'm so sorry, but I have a lot of exams and I can't spent too much time with this also I'm very sad people don't like my boot animation :crying: hahahhahaha joking
Well, now talking about our k900 and vibe7. For me it is really stable, great battery life, no problem at all. maybe you didn't do a proper wipe or something also problems regarding hardware are Lenovo problems and only they can fix them...
Now, The inverted Play store. Download the last build, it is solved
Also if you don't want to lose data coming from vibe4 or vibe6 I have read that only flashing system.IMG.Gz works, but I haven't tested it so it is up to you

I have some interesting situation.
I was on vibe4, then on vibe7 and yesterday I did back on vibe4, with same zip file I used for vibe4 first time with sdfuse.
I got mixed app from both roms???
I dont see anymore Ultimate power app, etc, that I have on first flash, but I see chinese app, also like first flash.
Now I have wide touch from vibe7, etc. what I didn't have in first flash of vibe4.
I did only rewrite sdfuse folder every time when I flash rom.
The download link doesnt seem to be working. It's loading non stop but not loading the page itself
VibeROM 4 made my phone hot. So I istalled this. But there is a superuser problem. Every time a notification will appear asking me to install Superuser, and then it will fail. Any idea? However, TitaniumBackupPRO runs OK, although it always asks for USB debugging to be activated even though i had done it already.

You Can flash without wiping data, Its just recommend to get rid of residual apps lIke LG file manager.

My first phone was Galaxy Spica i5700. Back then it used to have only about 100-150 MB and it wasn't enough too, but back then it was easier (believe it or not!!!) to transfer apps cache and data to SD card. And now it is almost impossible.

Hey man, I hate to inform you that the development from now from me will be very slow. I will be trying to make all your dreams come true as fast as I can but I am expecting a baby girl on Tuesday. She is prem so all my time will be dedicated to her and my girlfriend. Any free time I have I will be putting into development for this phone.

Nodded kernel didn't work because an error on my part. I called busybox the wrong way. I didn't notice because It worked for me but when flashing back stock I noticed that it needed further modding.
Beer shake said it worked because he was able to boot after flashing the nodded kernel. What he meant was it didn't brick his device.
As far as the ROM goes I am not 100% sure what the difference is between the 2 devices . what I can say is if you device supports NFC then NFC will stop working as my device does not have NFC. If you have dual sim then your sim probably won't work ether. I would suggest making a back up and try it. If it doesn't work then let me know and I can try help to port it.

No dual sim of L5II in Europe as far as I know, anyeays it should work as the e450 has no huge differences.

Sure you can replace phone apk with the stock one. Ehm, this rom has already most bloatware removed, if you brave enough go ahead.

Most of the stock lg apps are removed, so there shouldn't be any need to do delete anything. There are still a few apks that will be removed in a future ota update. The phone apk is the stock mmodified version. You can replace with the stock but it must be deodexed .

Works on e450f? I tried to install with "CWM is Locked Bootloader (Beta 2)" most of the installation error, not able to use "Phils Touch Recovery" and not compatible for my device (sorry for my english I'm Brazilian and more use the translator =])

E450f is still a device that has locked bootloader so it's hard to say if you can install this or not. Currently devices with less difficulties are E450 and E460.
Could anyone upload updater script from this rom, I can't download the full rom at the moment but I want to see the updater script for my personal purposes.

This will not work on cwm4lbl it formats the system and will cause the recovery to stop working before the install finishes.
Also the bootimg is custom so you will get security error.

Issue with Micro sd card
So recently i installed this custom rom, My micro sd card was fully working on the stock android and also in pc. But after installing a custom rom it shows that the current files in the card are corrupt (but they are actually not, since they are accessible on PC). Also when i try to access the files in TWRP recovery its working there. Files are working everywhere except in the android OS. But if i create or copy any new files in the sd card card, the new files are accessible.
I dont think this is the issue with the ROM itself cz the problem persists even when i tried any other rom other than the stock one.

Nothing wrong with your files, just connect the usb and transfer all files to the PC using twrp then format the SD card from the phone and copy all your files over to the SD card.

Just make a copy of the file present in the SD Card to ur PC and Format it and try again !!

Hi bro this is an awesome Rom but i found some problems, when i open Facebook and Facebook Messenger it gets laggi so bad, and SCREEN CAST don't work properly it gets laggi, pixeled and nonsound on tv and also UC BROWSER it's so laggi that some times i had to turn off the phone other than that very good rom but i hope it gets those issues fix on early updates thanks bro!!! Keep it up with the good work!!!

Can someone help me please? I install everything correctly and it still does not start! It always stays on the Viper logo, loading and loading, but it does not go away! No matter how many hours I leave there! This also happens in Pixel Experience, except in the CAF version ... What could it be? I have the latest version of TWRP and all the other roms with android 9.0 work perfectly!
