Hey guys, I just ordered the phone did am wondering what screen protector you get a would recommend? Currently thinking about getting either the nillkin Tempered glass or a spigen one
Thanks

I'm using a Spigen one, did it on my last 3 phones and was always satisfied.
However they start to take some scratches after 6 months of use; not bad I guess

Tempered glass can protect your screen from shocks and scratches. But it is thicker than other normal films. And it is weak in anti fingermark.
So if you worry the screen broken due to impact, you'd better use a tempered glass.
If you decide to use a case, then you can choice a anti-glare screen film or a clear screen protector which is thin and cheap. They also can keep scratches away from the screen.
You can get Sony Xperia Z2 accessories from witrigs which offers SONY accessories and SONY repair guide.

I have to say that xtreme cover rocks. If you get dust under it just rince with finger tip water and soap.

How good is the screen protector in the box?
I've just bought the Xperia Z2 off the internet and is in the post.

There's already a thread for screen protectors 9 pages long as of now: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2664195

I got a free one from the case I ordered from amazon (SPIGEN SGP AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note 4G LTE Hard Case Ultra Thin [Infinity White] (FREE Best Steinheil Screen Protector Cover Film Included)). It is very impressive, doesn't leave a lot of prints and fitting is perfect. You should check it out. I see they have more expensive ones for different purpose.
+1 on the SGP. I ordered Ultra Oleophobic. They are superb! Amazon has them for $16 and you get two protectors.

Got the same case, except in black. There is really no room for error for the screen protector install. Mine was just a hair off at the bottom and I made the awful call to pull it up- got a couple lint spots now. Not horrible, but still annoying.
I will be buying a two pack of the Oleo version to replace this one down the road. I figure a couple pieces of lint isnt worth trashing the entire protector right away.
Whats your take on the actual case? I think its a little loose fitting.
Tried them all.
SGP is the only brand I will ever use. (their cases are great too)
They are taking preorders for a glass on glass screen protector.

The problem is, it's far from invisible. It has a soft surface which causes the protector to get scratches. It gives it an almost sticky feel compared to a protector / glass with a higher surface hardness.
Also it doesn't transmit as much light as I would like, and it's not chemically treated to protect it from fingerprints.
The only reason it's successful is marketing.
I have invisible shield on the front and back and I absolutely love it

Although I hope, sgp warranty is good, my screen protector has a very tiny hole on it in the middle and after pressing a lot of times, it bubbles... I emailed them yesterday, still no reply

Have you ever tried any other wet screen protectors? Zagg is the only one I've used with the annoying orange peel. It also feels the most rubbery. I will never buy Zagg again.
I always used PowerSupport screen protectors on my iPhone, but it appears that the company doesn't make protectors for the iPhone. Going on recommendations, I got an SGP ultra clear protector from Amazon on Tuesday. It went on very easy. I was very careful and have no bubbles or dust and it's lined up perfectly.
You can't even tell it's there. The s pen glides along very smoothly.
It compares very favorably to the PowerSupport protectors.
Well I ordered the oil repellent one because of a skin condition I have that requires me to apply a lot of lotion so hopefully that'll make my phone experience more enjoyable.
Thanks for all the suggestions.

Yup, thats what I bought. For now it'll do until I see some better reviews of crystal clear ones here.
I had the protector.from att of was 37 bucks n deff. Messed with my.color I'm getting.this one.everyoe is talling.about
I use xtreme guards from ebay. there like $2 for the note. only problem is they are for the international. they still work on att though. you just have the hole. I ordered 1 to try and got 8 more for the future. I prefer the wet apply guards also.

I have the moshi ivisor also. Ordered the sgp ultra oleophobic earlier this week and it came today! Will be installing it later and taking the ivisor back to ATT.
Update: I installed the SGP and it looks 1000% better than the moshi ivisor matte screen protector. I like the ease of install on the ivisor, but the matte just detracts from the screen. I borked the first sgp due to three specks of dust and when I tried to get them out with the included stickers, I made it worse. Luckily it comes with two and I got a clean install on the second one!
I was sitting next to two colleagues on a flight this afternoon and they saw my GNote and asked is that a phone? I showed it to them and one of them said...that phone makes my iphone looks like ****...lol!

[Q] Does the phone need a screen protector?

I'm going to upgrade to this phone from my Galaxy S3 which never really needed a screen protector. Does the z2 need one or is the glass scratch proof like gorilla glass?
Thanks,
Ash

The Z2 use3s Dragontail glass which is very strong, but slightly less scratch resistent than Gorilla glass,
However I think it's personal preference as to whether you use a screen protector or not..
I personally always use a screen protector just in case & have never had any problems doing so...
It came with one so I put it on there and its actually pretty ok.
Never had one on any of my phones before but this one has a nice matte finish to it. As the whole front it glass is worth it imo
Does the z2 have a shatter proof film? If so they scratch very easily and would need a protector but as pointed out since implementing spf's sony has been giving protectors in the box's of most handsets.

The glass of Z1 is scratch proof. But there will be some scratches after long time using.
So if you can't bear any tiny scratches , you'd better use a screen protector.
I feel a protector is always nice

How does it compare against the iphone 5s? I never needed a screen protector for mine.
Mine only came with a screen protector for the front in the box which I applied straight away, but I had to wait 3 days for a protector for the back to arrive, in that time its got several ugly scratches on the back glass.
I'm rather disappointed to be honest as it's not been abused, its been in the same pocket I kept my z1 in for 6 months without a mark to the screen protector. I was hoping Sony had put one of the easily scratched shatter proof films on the back, but sadly it seems there isn't a pre applied film and the glass scratches very easily.
Now I have a 3 day old Z2 which looks older than my 6 month old Z1

Yh that cream looking sheet that was on the back, it's not a protector as such and looks mank but as mines in a case is will stop the scratches from trapped dirt etc.

I probably overpaid for my Nillkin 9H explosion proof tempered glass screen protector it feels every bit as good as the glass screen underneath. Plus it doesn't matt the screen colours down like the protector that comes with the phone.

I am thinking the regular screen protectors are difficult to stick and may not be waterproof, which kind defeats the purpose of having a waterproof phone!

I use a few cases that cover portions of the screen so you shouldn't have any problems with the MIME protector. If you for some odd reason do have problems they will give you a refund.

I'd have to look them all up, I have quite a few cases. I looked at the Caseology cases and they will be fine with the Feather Glass.
I use the spiegen ultra Sim and the nilkin (the cheapest one) and it's perfect.
only downside is the bottom button which is now lower than the glass but it's OK.
camera gets a small protection too
I think you should be fine. The edges of the Nillkin glass are rounded to that should help also. If you feel the home button is harder to press with the glass on then get a Mime home button. It's a metal sticker that holds on pretty well. I believe they are $2.99 with free shipping in the USA.

I've been using Spigen neo hybrid case with the nillkin tempered glass for a while now and i must say that the combination works like a charm.. ?
I loved it on the M8 but for some reason on this note 3 it catches way too many smudges and fingerprints

If it doesn't can you post cases with same level of protection that fit good with glass screen protector?
Thanks is advance.!

I can't answer about the Dualtek, but some have posted that the Body Glove Shocksuit works well with a glass screen protector when you tear out the screen protector that's part of the case.
