Hi! Guys. I have been unsuccessful in installing Root Explorer (File Manager) v3.0.1 on our Galaxy Y. Every time I tried installing it, it says 'Parsing Error'. I am in a dilemma. Or is this particular version incompatible with android 2.3? Right now I am using v3.0. Please share your experiences with this particular version of Root Explorer i.e. v3.0.1. I am only asking if it is compatible with our phone. Because I am facing problem with its installation as stated above. I purchased the app from Google play. I am not a kid in XDA forum. I know all the rules. Don't try to upset me further. Your answer is completely out of the question. If you have never tested the application, do not spam this thread with your silly answers.

If there were no error why would I ask here in the first place? If you really want to know, buy the apps from Play Store and install it. Let me tell you something. Sometimes, there are apps on Play Store available for Galaxy Y but not compatible with it. Ex. GTA 3, Temple Run, etc. So, if you download such apps, there is bound to be error while being installed by Play Store.

That is the reason why I am creating this thread. I am also quite surprise, bro. What you said is definitely true. Anyways, I am already asking for refund. Thanks for your constructive suggestions. I have purchased Solid Explorer. It's better than Root Explorer and has all the functions of Root Explorer and has better UI and navigation is easier and faster.

I've tried various Chrome extensions but can't seem to download the APK.

I checked the kist of devices that the app was compatible for but I can't find wheter or not it is compatible for android gingerbread

I downloaded the .TTF and then there is an option to convert that in the app. Go to editor and then at the bottom right click generate font. it is here that you select your ttf

To apply it you have to go to the themes app that came with the phone. Them click on the tab that says "me" on the bottom right, then click customize and click on text and your downloaded font should be in there.

Mine doesn't show it even tho I am signed in to Huawei ID, please confirm if you're in a region other than the US because that may be why it's only working certain people

I'm in the UK. But did you click on the tab that says Me on the bottom right of the themes home screen or click on customize whatever you downloaded with the other themes manager should show up. Maybe you could reboot or close the stock themes app and reopen it so it can refresh. I didn't have to reboot though.

Oh no thats unfortunate. What about sideloading the latest apk? For some reason I can't post any files with this xda app for a while now. Says I don't have persission and I've been a member for nearly 10 years with no problems. Else I'd post it here for you. Wonder If a moderator could check that out for me?

Have you tried uninstalling the one you have installed then downloading the newest version apk 81.1.2 from googling it. Then seeing if it installs.
