[Q] Where to buy 4G / LTE Tablet Z2 in London - Xperia Z2 Tablet Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm looking to buy the 4G / LTE tablet Z2 in London and nowhere seems to stock it, they only have the Wifi version. Any ideas where'd have the 4G version in stock?
Ta.

not sure on the High street as I got mine directly from the Sony Store.
you know the LTE version doesn't have multi user support? I wish I had know before hand....

Do you know if they sell them SIM free? Would they be locked? Their data deals suck.

They are locked I think, but they unlock them for free. They can be bought sim free.

Is direct from Sony really the only way? I had a look in the O2 shop, they didn't have any and their data tariffs are pretty poor.

German T-Mobile Vario IV not locked!

Hi to all,
Seems there is no need for SIM unlocking the Vario....
I operate it with an Alice Card, which means working in E+ - no Probs at all!
Best Regards!

owh. i didn't know that. sorry.
Varioprices in Germany
Just to say it:
Prices for electronic devices are much morre expensive in Europe - even without the temporary high $/€ exchangerates...
f.e.: the Vario IV without contract of T-Mobile costs almost 800€ - in the states you´ll get it for this price in US$.
So......
Best regards

Is there a simfree firmware/sbf for atrix?

Hi guys i have seen the sbf thread with different network branded sbf'
But play sell atrix, which firmware is that? is there a retail non network braded for Europe or UK?
http://www.play.com/Mobiles/Mobile/...ed-Mobile-Phone/Product.html?searchtype=genre
Now that we have an unlocked boot loader, why shouldn't there be one we can flash?
A vanilla image would be amazing.
I have an AT&T Atrix imported to the UK and would love a UK Vanilla image.
Thats what i want but i dont think there is.

Well not yet there isn't, but I'm sure as soon as they come out in August we will have one.
Bump any update on this? Expansys also selling sim free version!
I don't want to go through hell of selling my ATT atrix (and loosing 4G for when we get it in the UK)

Question before ordering a Z2

Hey all, I am very interested in this phone, but I have a question...
I had the Z1s on T-Mobile, and as far as I remember, it wasn't rootable, and I couldn't put my custom rom on there. Is this possible with the Z2? I would love to have a stock Google rom on there if possible, as I am not a fan of the Sony skin and bloatware, but I am loving the phone design, and camera.
Just make sure you buy one with an unlockable bootloader (not carrier branded) and root is no problem
I was planning on ordering through Amazon, I believe it says it is unlocked.
http://www.amazon.com/Sony-FACTORY-...qid=1401772900&sr=8-2&keywords=sony+xperia+z2
Will that work on T-Mobile?
Yes - I'm using it on tmobile. It gets LTE.

I'm also looking at getting a Z2 to use on T-Mobile in the US. I hope this unit you linked to is bootloader unlockable. Is this the lowest price you have found? I'm searching high and low for the best price before pulling the trigger.
Thats the best price that I've found online.

Release date UK?

Hey guys!
Massively interested in this phone. My HTC U11 broke just recently. The back and front smashed and my insurance company said they couldn't fix it so sent me the cash. That's when I did some research and heard about the Pocophone F1 which looks amazing! The only thing is it isn't easy not having a phone when I need to work....
Is there any chance a release date for Europe or the UK in particular will be announced soon? Any rumours flying about? I'm really trying hard to hold out for this phone!
Available in the UK from Appliances Direct.

I'm talking official release but thanks.
It is the Global Version with a UK charger!
It is here also released in the Netherlands, only webshops.
U get Dutch warranty, so I think when u buy it from a UK store u get UK warranty.
Since there are no Mi stores

Thanks for the info BassBounce. That's good to know. The only issue I have with buying from one of these sites is whether they are putting a mark up on the price of the phone? I wonder if when it is officially released will it be cheaper than on these sites? Also, I can't seem to find the Armoured version of the Poco F1 anywhere to buy in the UK. I'd really like the Armoured version since I seem to be pretty unlucky when it comes to braking phones....

That's good to know thank you. It may be a good option although I'd rather buy the Armoured edition which they don't stock.

Do they give you a UK warranty or do you have to send it abroad?

Its a UK seller so yeah ur getting a warranty here, ur covered by the seller for 12 months, and even if u get the phone from like Netherlands u still covered by EU warranty, keep in mind the phone is only like 250 quid.. its not a 1000 quid phone, or trying lookin at alternatives like second hand pixel 2 xl for around 300-350
Apparently the one from Appliances Direct doesn't have a charger with it at all!

Any possible way to get the 7T Pro in the US (or SA)?

As the title says, I live in Colombia, but I can get it easily brought south with some friends from the USA... Is there a way to get it without paying huge amounts of money?

It should. But check the lte bands, all US bands may not be supported. After €>$ conversion, too expensive for me
