I hope this is the right place for my question/request.
So first, if it matters my phone is Samsung Galaxy S II Plus and I'm using CM 11 on it.
I'm trying to install the new looking playstore, but i get message "App not installed".
My playstore looks like this:

My country region is Bulgaria. I'm starting to think that maybe this is the problem.

It's based on region.
the black one is modded and from the 2 at the bottom, the right is an older version. The most countrys have the left one.

sure,just look under themes section for team blackout,there you find many blacked apps.
I even downloaded Google playstore modded by ChelpuS (black version) but the problem is that when I try to install the apk I'm receiving " App not installed ". How can I deal with that?

I think it's either because Play Store is a system app or the modded apk does not match the signature of the original Play Store.

To quote the 2nd post here, Google is blocking a lot of apps of there's that have been themed. The signature may be another issue also. Best bet in that case would be to remove the play store from system/app and try to install the other one. I've had this issue on several roms

Deleted the 1st point.
Take a backup of your current playstore first.. Delete the play store.. Then using same file manger.. Copy the modded play store in system/app with permissions rw-r--r.. Then restart your device..

And if i'm right, just need to copy the modded .apk in syste/app with premissions "rw-r--r.." right? Suggest a file manager to do that because I'm currently using stock Cyanogenn mod's file manager

Yes you can do it via titanium..
Tap in the play store .. Scroll to r8 you will verify - backup - uninstall . it will remove as well as take backup .. Use es file explorer to set permissions..

After extracting rename the apk to "Vending.apk",then copy the file to system/app/Vending.apk.Make sure to uninstall any updates of previous version and reboot.

At first don't know why it would'nt install even through root explorer, i mean it would install but it would FCs

the pic is from da dev of it,maybe its from another phone.
You must fully uninstall the previous version and updates from your normal playstore and install the moddet version.

What to do after moving the vending.apk to system/app ?? The apk won't install because I can't get rid of the play store entirely

I don't know...last auto update for play store is v3.7.15...that why i uploads the latest play store here so everyone can update it them self

Please check your Google Play Store with version is it currently on....there shouldn't be any problem install this Store since it is compatible with all phone....

hmmm...try installing new version that i have uploaded just now......
I manage to install your new version on my lww real ics 5.2. And it open also but there is no option avilable on my phone like in your screen shot and whenever I try to download any thing from PlayNow it force close every time and this thing happenes on each of your version

Those screenshot is not taken from our xperia devices but on my Galaxy S Advance it does show the same as the screenshot with the same apk install on both devices....
i don't have FC on both of my devices while downloading any apps from the store and i don't use PlayNow to download any apps either....

hey, i searched the forum for how to install a theme this one to be precise -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1517344
and i just couldn't find how to install .apk's. In the forum post with the theme it says that i do this to install it: Install the app, go settings/themes select system theme, reboot, apply the theme, reboot! i can't find the apk when i downloaded it from the play store. you need to like press on it on the phone to install it right you don't need any programs to run it ? (first time with themes on samsung >.<). I install it from the playstore but i don't get a theme settings on the settings on the phone or something..
The theme you've mentioned is an aosp theme. So you'd need to be rooted and have an aosp ROM running on your phone to use it in the first place. Assuming you do, since you've downloaded it from the play store, it doesn't download an apk, but the.. executable file.. (dunno what you actually call it)
To use it, you'd have to navigate to the Themes option in your settings menu. Usually under ROM control or UI.

i installed Cyanogen Mod and i am running it now but i can't find a play store icon so i can't download the theme!!!

There's a link in the thread you mentioned for inverted gapps.(called inverted apps addon) You'll get the play store, gtalk, mail etc from that.
You'd have to download and then install those via cwm.

ok the only problem i am having now is to create folder on the application window i can do it on the main window by simply dragging icons on each other but in the other application window as soon as u start dragging it u get moved to the main window, as in the stock rom of ics u can press edit on the application window so you can create folder there but there is none on this rom....
That depends on the launcher you use.not the ROM. Some launchers support it, some don't. Look around for one you like if the default one doesn't suit you.

When I went into recovery mode and tried to install the zip it said that it didn't have a valid verification signature. What does that mean I have to do?

You have to completely remove any old Store you have installed.
turn off the signature verification in cwm (in advanced if i remember well)

The simplest thing you can do is to open the rar file and copy the playstore to the system/app folder. Then in the playstore apk settings tap "uninstall updates"....that's all, no reboot! :laugh:

You have to click the "mount r/w" button on top right of the screen, then paste the file, then re-click that button and exit.

You can try to "delete data" on youtube-playstore-google services apk files settings.

Sorry, apparently DownloadManager doesn't auto-create needed directories.
Either redownload the fixed apk (same link), or just create a Vine (case sensitive) directory in /sdcard/Download (or Downloads, depending on your device).

Works great now, thanks maybe future feature would be to be able to specify where it downloads to, like SD card vs internal memory

I found a bug yesterday that would prevent downloading videos with a "/" in their description. Most Vine videos are doing it now and that's why it fails. (Some long description W/ Username)

Not sure if I want to touch YouTube, the package is obfuscafed with ProGaurd so each update would break the module for users, and I'd have to go through the source again.

I tried it on my tipo with custom 4.1.2 Rom,it works fine, only problem is the videos with the / character
Update : all videos with special characters won't download

I also downloaded and installed the apk, which curently resides in my sdcard\download directory on my Samsung Galaxy Note 8 (GT-N5110) running Android 4.1.2 KernEl version 3.0.31, Build number JZ054K.N5110EEMF2. There is no download option for me either. What Am I doing wrong? Help! Thanks

You need to install Xposed and enable the module.

I have installed Xposed, but nothing shows up in the menu, othere than share on twitter, facebook, report etc. How do I enable the Module? That is the million dollar question!
