Bounty for P600 Hyperdrive rom - Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) Android Developmen

Sbreen is willing to develop Hyperdrive rom for P600. Breen is a long time developer with a great product and reputation. This is a great opportunity to improve on a very good Samsung product. We have collected about half of funds to get a tablet for him to use foe development. Anyone willing to contribute?

[OT] Farewell and a Thank You

I have upgraded to the SG3 and have left the DX2 behind. I just wanted to say a quick thank you to all of the devs that took my useless POS phone and made it the best it could be considering the circumstances. I also wanted to thank all of the other members of the community for posting helpful tips, walkthroughs, guides, etc. that allowed a noob like me to ROM-it-up with my DX2. Best of luck to everyone and hopefully you wont have to suffer through the disgusting lack of support that Moto provides for much longer. :crying:
Thanks Again,
Mike
Mikey, gl with your device and all the bells and whistles you will be trying to have it do.
I am sure the DX2 community wouldn't mind you stopping in from time to time and maybe helping someone else out from what you learned with your time here.
All the best!

Tired of all these roms...

It seems like a Rom comes out one week just to be superseded by another Rom the next week! Is it me or is this mainly done by the compilers to get donations
Seems to be ramping up since the GN2 had released. We need quality, not quantity...

Reported to mods. this is XDA, which is about development. Don't like it, don't come here.
HARD CLOSED
Sir, since you posted, I will address this and I hope it is understood.
First development is just that...and that is what is going here, by the Developers/Themer and ROM makers around here, they are developing and working on their ROMs tweaking/mod'ing/ making them as stable as possible...btw you should understand that work done here, is their work (ROMs), to which they are kind enough to provide/share with all on this Developers Site...called XDA. All free there is no charge, yes donations are done but they are just that donations.
And the reason you see so many updates, that is called>>development; to say you are tired of seeing ROMs, WOW sir, I would be saying Thank You to the RDs/RTs and RCs and ROM cookers/tweakers for taking the time and seeing what users are providing to help in their work. To which we all benefit from...
If you find a ROM that works for you fine, use it do what you want, since it was freely given/provide again just say Thank You.
This reply was not meant to put you on blast...so to speak, but I hope I brought a better understanding for you.
Sir, please do not open these type threads, Thank You and as stated above in red...

Eclipse Rom

I decided to start this thread for nitroglycerine33 in hopes to get him a device. His TW roms with aosp flavor makes for a great experience. So who all would be interested in donating towards a device for Nitro? Him having the device would also help with being able to support for the duration of all of our Note 3 days. I've never done a thread like this so maybe we could see how many of us are interested and Nitroglycerine33 can provide the link for donating towards a device. More development is always a plus.
I cannot contribute financially at the moment, but I wanted to put my 2¢ in and just say that Nitro is honestly the most deserving developer I can think of to donate to. If I wasn't so broke, I'd throw in probably $50 at least. I have been using Eclipse since the Droid Charge, and it has always been extremely reliable, great on battery, extremely smooth and speedy, and extremely awesome looking. Since then, I have used Eclipse on several devices, and I have yet to see anything disappointing...I for one have not yet rooted my Note 3, but if Nitro gets one and puts Eclipse on it, I'll root for that!
Bounty threads are allowed here, but this style of thread is not, direct requests for donations, along with amount and transaction numbers are almost like running a business inside of XDA.
Thread closed - and some posts removed also.
OP, feel free to report this post and thread if and when you have read and understand the proper way to do "Bounty Threads"

What kind of stuff are you looking for? I've been adding Halo to ParanoidAndroid and building for Moto X and Nexus 5, and I recently posted a guide on cherry-picking features. I've also spent a lot of time teaching anyone who's come to me for help with their own development related questions.
I'd be happy to help develop for your models, but I don't own any myself.

Thats ok. Its just that we wont be able to meet. If you are interest maybe we can have a little chat on skype or gtalk.
I would love to have you onboard . And hopefully others from open source community at XDA. We are an indian company but we can surely work something out with you .
Can you email me at [email protected]. with your skype or gtalk id. We can have a chat and take things from there yes ?
Wait so youre an actual company....producer of devices like Wickedleak Wammy Passion X? So really you'd be profiting off xda users that possibly join your team....or are you planing on hiring said users?
Give Back to Open Source
Hi Shiny Side,
Yes we are a Company Based in India. You are coorect,We recently Lauunched Wammy Neo as well. We intend to share profits and made from custom roms with all developers and credit for the same as well. You can quote me on this. I love the hacker way and we want to give back. Obviously this also benefits Wickedleak. but ofcourse we are looking to create a win win. The popular custom rom developers for us will be most valuable and we will look to hire them as they will be indespensable. All we want is to delight the customers and get you on board. Profit we create win-win and share. Do email me and lets get talking.

Hi,
Your project seems interesting and I'd love to be a part of it.. I've posted a couple of tutorials on building kernel, roms and have built kitkat from source for the mt6589.
Regards.
Will you also share the framework sources with community ?
The by far most annoying issue with MTK sources is that it's almost exclusively kernels, with no framework source code.
P.S.:
I considered buying Faea when they promised source codes and Cyanogen, but so far they have not delivered
If you do share sources, I will definitely buy a phone of yours (and do my best to make you noticed by the Russian MTK enthusiast community)

Team OctOS Help Wanted

Help wanted:
Over the last few weeks we have been working feverishly at trying to make the switch from lollipop to Marshmallow. In addition, we have been trying to switch source from CM to Aosp. This has been a daunting task. We are working with a limited staff and are finding it to be a bit overwhelming. So why am I telling you this? Well frankly we have seen some great community builds of non supported devices being posted from all over the world. There are some talented folks porting our rom. Perhaps some of those folks may be willing to use their talents to help our cause? In the forums, we have seen some talented helpful users contributing to make OctOs better. Must be able and willing to develop and build for any/all devices we support. Don't worry about not having the device, we have plenty of awesome testers that will attempt to break whatever you throw at them lol. Also you must have your own build environment and stable internet. Serious inquiries only and please email us at [email protected].
Hey guys, we're looking for a jflteatt tester for 6.0MM . If anyone is interested email us at [email protected]. I'll get back to you asap as I'll be working today, or I'll have one of our devs respond if I can't. Serious inquiries only, must be willing to test builds as we post them & know how to restore your device & use hangouts. (Very rare you'll need to restore) but its a must you know how. We won't release or continue to build jflteatt w/o at least 1 tester. 2 would great. Thanks again. Team OctOS ?
