I think the zip is encrypted. When I tried changing it and added back to the zip it said it was corrupt (same message you get when you try to add something to an encrypted ruu)

Let the games begin! I'm glad someone on XDA who knows what they're doing got a hold of a One, the best thing that can happen for the dev community with a device built for the dev community.

Does vibration work? Also, in call sound... Is that working? I can deal with the back speaker not working if the in call ear speaker and microphone work. ColorOS is a joke IMO.

Will upload the new ROM soon and will mention new features after going through the ROM deeply...
Build Number: 2.1.1.C.0.0
Kernel: 2.6.29

Changes:
Let's see who is smart enough to find the new features in the firmware.
Update: After 3 hours of usage I couldn't find anything new! Maybe some bugfixes. So i guess people using 2.1.1.A.0.6 can just Advance Restore the system.
Here's a look what the build.prop says-

Maybe f****** SE just renamed the 2.1.1.A.0.6 to 2.1.1.C.0.0 (changed it in build.prop) and released it so that people think its actually an update. What losers they are!

You should to change si number in build.prop.
Btw. I sugest to mail se support and ask about changes in new compilations. Someone with english skills want to?
Wysłano z X8 z użyciem Tapatalk
change si number to what? =) sorry somehow a newbie =D
Allright, this is same as 2.1.1.A.0.6 only. I'm 80% sure there are no changes in system files (except build.prop) because it can be rooted same as 2.1.1.A.0.6 which would not be possible if there were changes in system files. Eg: 2.0.1.A.0.47 (or whatever) had different rooting than 2.1.1.A.0.6 and SuperOneClick Root thus needed to be edited differently for the 2.1. So, i think its just a change in build.prop and SI.

Check the first post 12th-18th line. Put in SI as 1241-2655.
I suggest that you pull the build.prop from your phone using adb and copy / paste the one posted by OP, then connect to SEUS and search for update. Hopefully it should work.

yeah. old link. its pure stock
Link is kj2 ? 2.3.5
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I777 using XDA App
So does this mean Samsung is looking to give AT&T some software upgrade for the SGH-I777 before ICS? Honestly, I expected it to sit at 2.3.4 and eventually get ICS next decade or so.
Anybody have a good link to the firmware.

The original link works fine, but it's not the "I777Uckj4" as the link
says it is, its I777Uckj2.
So if its kj2 then why is it advertised/posted as "I777Uckj4"?
The link is NEW with todays date and it says:
[Firmware][2.3.6] I777UCKJ4 (Galaxy S II AT&T)
Download: http://bit.ly/semlQ2
Changes 2.3.5 -> 2.3.6:
[Google] voice search fixes
[Samsung] removed home button double tap
Issues:
[Samsung] push email still drains the battery more the normal
clicking the above link you get a new IE page with a link for
Firmware][2.3.6] I777Uckj4 (Galaxy S Ii At&t)
Clicking on the link below the actual download is I777Uckj2.
Download: http://www.ponack.ne...wiki/I777UCKJ4/
Hope this makes at least some sense

Will the superoneclick root this 2.3.6 or do we need a different
rooting method?
(I know we need to odin flash the CWM compatible kernel TAR file first.)
Does the KJ4 leak have the new bootloaders that kills the jig trick like the KJ2 leak?

I have it somewhat booting. i just need to edit the ramdisk. considering it didnt have a boot.img, I have to edit the classpath and try to make it past the bootanimation.
I'll say this once more though. SDk ports are like marriages... there fun at first, But in the end you know its never really going to work.

Ill try some more tomorrow.

If this is the case, could we port it from there? It's the CDMA version with LTE, so we wouldn't have that to deal with. I'm certain the mount points are different, but they shouldn't be too different. I know what I'm talking about, but I still don't know how to do it myself, so I can't be the person to do it, but it might be worth looking into.
Ungratefull
Im sorry to say that i am done with this Rom . WE DONT OWE ANYONE NOTHING!
We do this to contribute in our spare time. We have jobs ,families and everyday stuff going on. so when i get a PM saying
"You're even more lazy than deck. He said that he couldn't because he was too busy working on ICS and having a life and that he wasn't a "winzipper".
FFS are we ever going to get some real devs in here?"
I take it kind of personal. so on that note i will be focusing on ICS and my porting work.

[MOD] Facebook Home for Rooted EVO LTE | Flashable Zip | DIY Method

FLASHABLE ZIP - This is a BETA for now, post your results... If it is not working for you... Use the DIY Method
This is BY FAR the easiest way to get Facebook Home on your EVO LTE. This tutorial assumes your EVO is rooted and running a custom recovery. A YouTube video is provided for your convenience.
PREREQS:
Download the Facebook Home Installer Flashable Zip HERE
HOW TO INSTALL
Reboot into Recovry
Select ZIP and choose second option: Backup/Restore Build.Prop
Backup Stock Build.Prop
Go through the steps, DO NOT CHECK BOX at the end and then reopen ZIP
Select first option, Install Facebook Home, leave everything checked
Reboot and wait for cache to clear (takes a few minutes)
If it is still not working, reboot one more time, then send me your build.prop
Enjoy Facebook Home without any modding!!!
YouTube Tutorial Coming Soon...
DIY METHOD
This is not an all encompassing guide. This assumes you know how to edit your build.prop and that you are using a rooted EVO LTE. A nandroid backup is recommended for this procedure.
PREREQS:
Download latest Facebook and Facebook Messenger
Download Facebook Home APK from HERE
You will get a "device not supported" warning if you try to run the app without doing the next step.
HOW TO GET IT WORKING:
Edit the following build.prop values to this:
ro.product.model=SPH-L900
ro.product.brand=samsung
(Your phone now thinks it is a Sprint Samsung Galaxy Note 2)
Enjoy Facebook Home

EDIT : still says device unsupported. My build.prop lines are accurate, not sure where I've gone wrong worked for everyone else.

I have this working on SuperJelly. I installed the Facebook home apk and when you launch the app from the app drawer it says that Facebook needs to be upgraded and has a link, I chose that and it went to Google Play and says "device not supported". Then I used a text editor to open my build.prop and changed the following 3 lines that said JEWEL to endeavoru (the One X)
ro.product.name=endeavoru
ro.product.device=endeavoru
ro.product.mode=endeavoru
saved the changes and reboot. Launched Facebook home from the app drawer again and this time it prompted me to upgrade Facebook again and I followed the link. It actually launched Facebook but this time button to enable Facebook Home, after selecting that it asked to to choose a launcher...Sense or Home, chose Home and it signed me out and then back in to Facebook. Pressed the HTC home key and it worked like a charm. Changed the normal settings in Facebook Home, enabled Messenger to act as the default sms app and it's all set.
Reverted the 3 lined in the build prop back to JEWEL just so all my ROM settings and such work, reboot and Facebook Home is now installed and working on EVO LTE.
So I basically set my phone to be recognized as the One X to perform the install and changed it back to EVO and the app still works. Guess it only checks build.prop for verification of compatible device on install and not for use.

Odd, works just fine for me. Try putting your build.prop back. It might be looking for Samsung Contacts instead of HTC People since you device is being recognized as The Note II

But I can integrate the patch into the next update of the Rom.
