One is the stock Samsung camera's Gallery app (yellow) and the other is for the Nexus or Google camera app's Gallery (pink).
You already got reply. but to clear a bit more.
two gallery apps ..means you mus have two camera apps as well. usually camera and gallery apps are bundled in one apk now days. like the above post one is for stock camera and other one is for nexus camera. you an go in system folder and delete the gallery app but then you won't be able to access pics from your camera app.

Hey,
Since updating my Galaxy Note to ICS I have noticed that I cant see all of my photos in my gallery. I have missing thumbnails and when I tap on a missing thumbnail, the photo is black.
There's nothing wrong with my micro SD card, Ive tried it in my Galaxy Tab 10.1, Galaxy S III Galaxy S II and my Laptop. all the images are fine on all devices except my Note.
Any Help?

My camera is up to date, however, I don't have time lapse or youtube live! :/ Which is bad! :/
My camera app have the YouTube Live but it doesn't have Timelapse.
Maybe just on Android 8.1. Sure of nothing I'm just suggesting
My Android One has it. It comes with Lens, Time lapse, and YouTube Live, like it says.

but stay like this with green and magenta tint, how i'm can resolve this ?!

i'm used open camera, pro cam x, snap camera hdr, all apps have this problem in raw :/
Did you try Gcam mod? For me, the best version for A3 is from Parrot. You can try it, raw works fine on my phone
Anyone experiences colour distortion when Zoomed in above 2× on stock camera? Anyway to solve it?
I posted a review on Android Play Store and gotten a reply. Let's hope it is solved soon.

Camera update? Ór firmware
I suppose it is a firmware update. With the update, the Moto Camera Tuner 4 is no longer compatible as shown in screen shot below.
Hi Team, I recently removed com.vivo.gallery (Gallery apps) bloatware from my Vivo V27 Phone. After removing this package I getting the below error when I open the pictures from the camera app

I tried the following steps to fix it but didnt work
installed vivo album, google gallery, google photos from the play store
Changed the default app and selected google photos for media management
Used another app "Better open with" changed the app preference for photos, videos - But still the same error.
Any suggestions/recomendatoions apart from reinstalling com.vivo.gallery
