no wifi data while on calls while talking through bluetooth devices - Anyone else ? - HTC One Max

I'm calling HTC tomorrow on the issue... Can anyone else confirm if this problem happens to them on bluetooth while in a call...
Can someone please confirm if yours is doing this so I can get a sample ratio for HTC.
Also include what carrier you're on, android version, sense version, etc.
I'll email this thread to HTC as well.
IE...
on call + via bluetooth headset or bluetooth speaker = no wifi (status bar should say wifi connected though)
On call using internal speaker phone/hand set > bluetooth connected (like when you put your voyager legend down and call transfers back to phone) > does the wifi data still work ? (mine does)...
On call with bluetooth turned off completely > No problems...

Very little WiFi (less than 1mb) with bluetooth connected period on Viper 2.0... Thought it was my router had att here and no help... Realized when bluetooth is on WiFi it's useless... HTC errrr... Always radio problems. Switched to deodexed stock 4.4.2 with sense 6.0 same problem. Data is fine with bluetooth connected.
Ahhhh... Max Venom injection! Much better now...

No bluetooth connect when wifi turned on?

Hi everyone. I recently noticed an issue whereby if I have my wifi turned on, my mogul won't connect to my car's bluetooth. I usually have it off but often when I insert the phone into my seidio car cradle the wifi switch turns on and the bluetooth doesn't connect. As soon as I turn the wifi off the BT connects fine. If I switch wifi back on BT goes off again. Weird. Not sure if this is interference or a software issue. I am on DCD 2.1 rom. Anybody else? Any way to have the Mogul ignore the hardware wifi switch or assign it a different function? Thanks.
Mogul wifi
I have the same problem wiith the stock 2.17 ROM
A reasonable work around is to go into comm manager and just turn wlan off. Have to do it after each soft reset though. Overrides the hardware switch which is what I need.
ive never had this problem (currently using 2.2.6 but 2.17 was fine too)
i do know the 2 share an antenna though, could be an issue
Wifi and bluetooth at the same times works fine even before the leaked ROM stuff.
I use the Slingbox via WiFi and listen via bluetooth all the time.

Bluetooth question for Devs

Is it possible to put the old android 1.6 bluetooth control into a nexus ROM?
My G1 worked great with my car's built in bluetooth system, but my N1 wants to be a PITA. It refuses to stay connected, it is constantly disconnecting and reconnecting, disconnects after about 30 seconds and reconnects a couple minutes later and then repeats this cycle. (I know this because my car tells me audibly every time this happens) It also will not transfer audio to the system, or the system voice controls will not answer or start calls even when the phone and system show connected (the brief times that it does show connected). That fact makes me wonder if the bluetooth audio problems others complain about is the same issue I am having, and that their phones are not connecting properly as well. I think the issue may be caused by how the N1 treats phonebook access. With the G1 I would get a "connection complete" message when the bluetooth connects and a "transfer complete" message when the phonebook access completes. I never receive the transfer complete message for the N1
The real crazy thing is that I can get it to work if:
I do not have the phones bluetooth turned on
I then get into the car and start the car (its bluetooth then turns on)
I then turn on the phones bluetooth (if the phone does not connect to the system immediately I click connect manually)
I then must make a phone call within just a few seconds after the phone connects
After that everything works as expected. I have found no other combination of turning on or off bluetooth on the phone or car system that also works.
I was having problems with my car audio as well, until I updated to Cyanogen's latest. Everything seems to be working quite well now. What ROM are you using???
Stock ATM. The N1 is good enough stock (as opposed to the G1) but for the lack of free tethering. I'm sure it can be even better though. Staying connected to my cars system seems to be my biggest issue, audio works great when I get it to connect properly.
if got the same issue on my parrot.
but the problem still persists on the latest cyanogen mod
Yeah, I don't know what it is that is different in 2.1, but 1.6 works great with bluetooth.
I don't guess its possable to do, I hope an official fix comes soon.

Some issues using ICS (Mobile Data and Bluetooth)

Hi, I've recently switched from Leedroid (Gingerbread) to the KingCobra-ICS Rom and I'm experiencing some issues that somebody might have already came across.
When I have an app (like Tasker) change the "Mobile Data" status from on to off or vice versa, it works but the AOSP toggles in the Notification area remain unchainged, i.e they still say on/off after switching, although Mobile Data is now off/on. This does not happen for Wifi/GPS/BT. It's not that big of a deal but it's a little bit annoying. Any clues here?
The second thing is, that my Bluetooth Headset (Philips something...) is no longer found when scanning for BT devices (yes, it's discoverable). I can connect to it from my Galaxy Tab 8.9 with Galaxian Soup ICS Rom, though. Also, my EVO 3D still connects fine to my car stereo which advertises itself as a BT headset as well.
Any help would be highly appreciated

WiFi disconnecting when using bluetooth headset

Seeking solution to the problem described shortly thereafter:
I have a Samsung Galaxy S III - GT I9300 - STOCK ZTO-4.1.1 without root.
I also have a headset bluetooth, Nokia BH-503 model.
When I listen to music via streaming (Rdio for example), and while connected via WiFi with the headset, the WiFi connection starts to disconnect and reconnect randomly. This only happens when I use my bluetooth headset.
I did the full wipe of the phone, I changed the channel of WiFi, static IP, have disabled the WiFi Power Save Mode (via * # 0011 #) and nothing of the problem being solved. Has anyone experienced this or have a solution to this problem?
Thank you.
Have experienced this problem with Sony MW-1. Changing any wifi or bluetooth-related settings did not fix anything.
I have the same problem with a Nokia MD-310 bluetooth receiver. From what I can determine it is a problem with Galaxy s3 and APT-X bluetooth audio. My SGS3 works fine with older A2DP bluetooth devices but as soon as connected to the MD-310 (apt-x) the wifi becomes flakey and eventually drops completely.
Did you have any luck with a solution for this?
I tried the same things as you, wifi channels, factory reset, but no improvement.
Have not had a problem with Samsung HS3000, use it all the time.
I've done some further digging and I believe it is related to WiFi and Bluetooth congestion through the sgs3 radio on the 2.4 GHz frequency.
+ At home I only have a single band WiFi AP (2.4 GHz) and can't maintain AptX Bluetooth streaming and WiFi connection. Audio skips until WiFi drops.
+ At work I have dual band WiFi. When connected on 5 Ghz I can stream AptX and maintain both connections well. Switch the AP to 2.4 Ghz, reconnect, and the audio starts skipping and soon after the WiFi drops.
Same behavior with two i9300s.
Regular A2DP Bluetooth works fine regardless, so it must just be the added bandwidth requirements of AptX that bring the radio to its knees.
I'm going to buy a dual band router for home and see how I go...
I know this is for 6 years ago,
I had this problem but that is solved now and i am going to say how, maybe someone have this problem right now.
I have samsung galaxy s5 and when i connected bluetooth headest and wifi be dissconnect
Now for solveing this problem:
First go to settings and then appliction manager
And show system apps
Then you must find bluetooth app and click that
Then you must click on "force stop" and then go to storage, now you must first clear cache and then clear data and you must restart an end
Now your problem probably is sloved
Sorry for my english because my languge is persian

Wi-Fi internet drops when connected to Bluetooth speakers

Hi everyone,
I noticed that every time I begin to play music via Bluetooth speakers within 2 mins my wifi internet drops. I remain connected to the Wi-Fi but it shows no internet connectivity. Once I disconnect from the Bluetooth device and restart the wifi on the phone, it comes back to normal and works flawless. My wifi runs on 2.4ghz. I tried changing router channels but there was not much improvement. Is this a fault of the device or is anyone else facing similar issues. If someone can suggest a fix for this it'd be great.
Thanks.
Anyone!!
Hi. I have similar problem. I am using Pebble smartwatch, Mi Band, bluetooth headset, and laso radio in a car, so i have bluetooth always on. Lately i am experiencing massive problems with wifi 2,4 GHz(slow speeds, instability, dropping connection) - 5 GHz is working fine. Yesterday i have read some tips to turn off bluetooth, and EUREKA, wifi 2,4 GHz works fine.... I know that bt, and wifi 2,4 working on similar frequency, but hey, i didn't have those problems with previous Samsungs(S2,S4,N4,S7), so something have to be not ok with my S9+. I've recorded this behaviour https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VJTPn_GjJs0 . Have you found a solution? I am gathering data for phone service under warranty.
