Welcome to Eos! The Eos project originated with the AOSP release of ICS, and was originally founded by Solarnz and co founded by Bigrushdog. Since then, Eos has evolved into a multinational collaborative effort backed by top Android developers. Our objective is to provide a world class AOSP build with unique features and enhancements. Eos is an ongoing development project in which builds are released on a regular basis. Every release should be considered stable and highly functional.

I'm back with a new project that feels a lot like my old project. If you were familiar with CFX i used to work on you'll feel right at home here. Same minimal feel with a few new features added in.

Gonna try this out...

You assumed correct, I am currently supporting what CM is supporting. If there is overwelming demand I will consider swapping over though

Do the recent official CM nightlies on the old partition scheme have this issue as well?
Sent from my One Xl using Tapatalk

I think I mis-read and installed this on the new partition format. No WiFi connection with the 5/21 or 5/22 builds. Also, Camera does not see storage. File Manager is also only seeing the external SD card. Nice ROM though. Hope that these couple issues gets sorted out soon.

Yeah portions issue is killing your storage, nothing I can do about that without switching to the new format.
Like I said a few post back, I'm hesitant to do that, but I will if that's what people want, I just don't like to wander to far from the CM tree layout since I don't have a jewel to test on.

To avoid headache please do. Most are running the new layout. And many more will be going towards it soon enough. Also it works a lot better imho in the updated layout.
Sent from my EVO using XDA Free mobile app

If I could make a humble request, or suggestion, perhaps making both a new partition layout version, and old partition roms would help with testing, and bring in more users. Myself, as a new partition party, would very much love to run this rom and test it. If you feel like it would be too much of a headache, I completely understand. I'm sure I speak for most of us when I say, I expect nothing, but appreciate your contributions.

Nice job!
You should link to the 4.4.15 kernel since it has a fix for the alarm clock that wasn't working in 4.4.14
Ran it for a couple hours and not a hiccup. It is very fast, feels slightly snappier than Carbon, but doesn't have all the customizations I like such as ribbons and hideable notification bar.
Active Display ?

As per my understanding it will remain as close to aosp as possible but with some highly needed mods. Hence its the snappiest rom out of all the roms present for DNA. I dont think features like active display or ribbon will get implemented.

Lockscreen mod are modifications which you can do in lockscreen like maximize widgets, enable all widgets etc.
The base of this rom is AOSP and i have created the rom using CM specific device/kernel trees for DNA.
It may not be the most feature-rich rom(it was never intended to), but its definitely the fastest and smoothest rom for DNA. I can almost guarantee it
On a sidenote, i can see 47 d/ls till now and feedback from 2 users only (although both are +ve)

Cool
I didn't think it was that simple lol
I would run it but I'm still working on my rom, and right now it's kicking my a$$
Also, don't know how open you are to new projects, or if you're swamped with work right now but there is a new Rom in the horizon called Omni
It's pretty awesome, but completely the opposite of this one
There's a feature request list 16 pages long

I didnt understand what u mean by "I didn't think it was that simple lol".
As far as omnirom is concerned its very much stock aosp st the moment with multiwindow func. The feature list thing is gimicky as only a very few suggestions are real good. All are requesting same known features like pie, halo etc. which iam sure wont get incorporated as then it will become a PAC rom. I might give it a look once it gets to a stage where nightlies are rolled out, although i believe pio might have already build it.

By simple I meant that I thought they were gonna be like out of the ordinary mods like a new style of lockscreen or rearranging everything,
I just misunderstood
Yeah I was reading through the feature list and some of them were pretty stupid, others were all right and some were just outrageous
Like one said: per app status bar colors with the intelligence to detect and use the main colors of the app, probably through the app's icon
I just went...really?
I haven't seen pio around here recently ever since his mom died(that was pio right? I'm gonna feel really bad if it isnt)

Check the aosp ROM request thread. Pio has a completed build of omni, it's just having fc issues. I was working on it also, but since I got stuck at a kernel issue and pio got past that, I focused on a different aosp port that I got to boot. Having same issues as pio does on omni though. Force closes on NFC services and com.phone.android on boot. Might try to build vanir aosp from scratch and see if it's a cm device tree related issue.
Sorry for going off topic...

About:
- -O3 Optimized
- Based off of CM
- Themed apps with the idea of beauty and elegance in mind. (WIP)
- ThemeCenter
- CM Performance Control (duh)
- All non-system/Google apps you see (Experience Project, Help Center, Changelog, etc), have been built from scratch by MBQ. Unique, right?
- More, but I don't want to name everything this has. Too excessive.
Why?
Android is cool... right?
Yeah.
It seems like it is the same thing every time. You download a ROM, set it up, blah blah blah.
That gets boring. And boring is bad. It leads to trouble, and trouble is even worse.
We want this ROM to be YOUR ROM. Not some 'ROM' you use. Originality is cool.
MBQ personally created the following apps you will see:
-Experience Project
-HelpCenter
-GAppsCenter
-XPChangelog
and he is currently working on several more. This is MBQ's way of breaking out, and trying something original. Let's hope it'll turn out decent, right?

[15\12-2013] - Hi guys. I am very sorry for not building this week, I had to practice for some "mini" exams, and my machine has crashed on me a lot of times. After reinstalling Ubuntu 13.10, I am up and running again. Syncing the repo now

Sounds pretty legit, will have to check it out

I like the light theme in Settings, but one thing I noticed is some of the icons are white on white, as well as Superuser Settings. Here are some screen shots so you can see exactly what I'm talking about.

I'd imagine people are gonna want new builds as often as possible. I voted twice a week ☺ but truth is, I'd vote that you build as new features/bug fixes become available and or are implemented ?

That is actually what I meant with "Critical bugfixes"...
My fault, I should have explained it more detailed. Thanks for testing BTW, you flashed it before me! And I built it... xD
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 4
So, in further testing... Superuser is built in and seems fully functional. I use a USB OTG cable to connect a thumb drive with my tablet as that's where I store my TWRP backups and other files I have saved (ROM's, kernels, etc...). As this tablet doesn't seem to natively support USB OTG, I use StickMount Pro (which requires root) to gain access to my external thumb drive in most ROM's. Unfortunately tho, StickMount didn't seem to like the built in Superuser for whatever reason. As this would be a deal breaker for me, I tried flashing the SuperSU package linked in the OP and after a reboot, to my surprise, StickMount worked!
So, long story short, you may wanna go ahead and flash the SuperSU package linked in the OP, especially if any apps requiring root are giving you a hard time. For me so far, StickMount was the only app. Titanium Backup didn't have any issues or popup any messages like it usually does with built in Superuser.
Anyway, rant off. Just thought I'd post a random occurrence while using this ROM. Beyond that, everything is working great so far and now I'm off to try some different kernels ?

This is a deodexed ROM so I wouldn't expect "Art" to work at this time. Currently Art is only able to work on AOSP based odexed ROM's.
As far as kernels, I'm kinda striking out there too at the moment. I've tried some of faux's kernels but no go so far lol.
**Edit** So in reading thru Glitch's change logs, his next update will include the changes needed for his CM based CAF kernel to work with this ROM. I'm guessing the kernel you flashed was for 4.3 CM based Roms

Being this rom is based on CM, I would venture to guess that it is CodeAurora based which means AOSP kernels will not work.

New to MoKee so I flashed this and am trying it out. VERY smooth. GSM users, make sure you flash the CM GSM patch, your APN may not be open til you do. Once I did tho, All T-Mobile, Straight Talk, Simple Mobile, and Metro PCS APNs showed up. Data seems strong and Wifi works well. Thanks for the awsome effort danjull.

He's having some issues with his build machine that won't be fixed anytime soon. And by the time it does get fixed, he'll be porting ROMs for the LG G2. He mentioned this in one of the last pages of the crDroid 4.4 DNA thread. It sounds like he's pretty much done porting ROMs to the DNA :/

:victory: That is really great news! Thanks for still thinking of us. I really only have about 1 1/2 months left with the DNA though, once my Verizon contract is up, I'm switching to AT&T and getting a Nexus 5. The DNA is a great phone and you guys have made me love it even more.
how hard would be it be to build a pure vanilla rom from google sources since we have some good strong cyanogenmod trees?

How pure would you want it? I thought about trying it, but I'd personally never use it. I don't like feature heavy ROMs, but pure AOSP is a little too lean. Gummy is about the closest we have right now. Or CodefireXperiment, which has AOSP mode.

Remember you also need latest recovery to flash 4.4 roms
Edit: so like with like every other ROM I get reception problems where I would get almost full bars (LTE) I barely get one at best, and jumps to hspa+ to LTE to hspa+ all the time, and some times it sticks on 1 bar of LTE. Any idea why this happens?

That would be a problem with RIL. As pretty much 100% of ROMs will pull RIL from the same tree this makes sense you get it on all ROMs... Nothing I can really do about it, sorry.

you are going to need 2.6.3.3 it works really good and haven't encountered any problems, or problems restoring older 4.3 back ups or flashing them like some people report.
edit: i lie, i have the one bug that when using aroma, sometimes after installing, instead of going back to recovery, the screen goes black. but other than that, perfect.

The RIL included with all of the ROMs you flash is the best out there unless there is something I don't know of. Most RIL for this phone comes from this repo and folder:
https://github.com/CyanogenMod/android_device_htc_msm8960-common/tree/cm-11.0/libril
AFAIK, not anything you can do about it.

CHANGELOG:
http://changelog.mokeedev.com
Since we're updating frequently, making manual changelogs ain't possible anymore...
And also take note that although I am involved in the development of this ROM, but I do not own the device, so I might not be able to answer your device specific questions...
Features sound really good, especially multi windows. Please strike for stability over anything else. Really hoping to use this
Can't wait to get home and give this one a try

Gproj
How do you enable screen recorder, on carbon its power+volume up but that option isn't working with mokee. Also there seems to be a problem while trying to delete system apps with TiBu...ie, mokee native apps

This rom is great fast and think battery is great too haven't really tested much... And something else is different too the visuals render really good... Can any custom kernels work on this rom? Like matr1x which xboxfanj have made...?

Yeah I've noticed with other custom ROMs that have OTA updates instead of nightlies or version updates always seem to mess up. I even think the ota app for cm releases messes up from time to time. Its probably a server problem at the end of whoever uploads the ROM to the server

But it's not working even if i try to flash it manually either. Should i have to edit the update-script some how?

Maybe you could just extract your current ROMs updater script folder and move those files into the updated OTA..sign the package and flash..see what happens...

I dont think that would work it would mess the rom coz there might be new files and cleaning the old files and all that. So if the dev who posted here has any thoughts on this issue.
