[Q] Android block firmware update or flashing

Is there anyway or application or method to put on my actual firmware that i prevent anyone from updating it?
Or also block any updates by KIES or also prevent ODIN from flashing a new one?
I want to keep always the same firmware and keep it untouched for ever.
How could i disable updates? (i mean if someone takes my phone and try to update the firmware manually)
Or how i could block and technician from flashing my firmware?
Any ideas? or method to protect my firmware?

Is there a way to trigger the Samsung OTA process with root?

Does anybody know how to trigger the ota process if you have an update.zip on the device?
My device has modified bootloader, so I'm not eligible for OTA... but with Wanam Exposed you can fake Offical status, and it'll download the OTA, but fail to install.
If before it fails, you copy the update.zip from /data/fota/update.zip .. then you have a copy.
My issue now though is that the normal OTA process won't let me continue with the OTA dialogs... and if I try to flash the zip in stock recovery, it can't seem to open it.
Is there a way to trigger the Samsung OTA process, with root, and have it properly process and unencrypt the update.zip upon flashing?
Cheers!
which model do you have? Most of the models have firmwares available at Sammobile so you really dont need OTAs unless u have the at&t model.

How to reinstall the same Android version?

Hello guys, I have S3 with the Android version 4.3 i want to reinstall firmware to be sure there aren't malware, because i have read that malware may remain also after a hard reset because a malware can infect firmware, so i would like to reinstall firmware (i don't want to change firmware, i only want reinstall 4.3), i saw this guide https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3/general/guide-how-to-reinstall-stock-firmware-t1978840 and my question is, if i follow this guide, can i to be sure my S3 firmware (consequently also phone because with the method of the guide will do hard reset)is safe, whithout malware? P.S. sorry for my bad English
Find the stock firmware for your phone. Put the phone into download mode and flash the firmware via odin on the pc.
Flash the stock firmware.
Factory reset.
Flash stock firmware again.
That should remove any unwanted remnants.
You are correct by presuming malware may remain after a factory reset.

Can I update normally with oem unlock /w custom recovery?

I recently installed a custom recovery on my exynos s9+ on stock pie. I actually thought unlocking oem and installing a custom recovery + root would trip Knox and prevent me from getting any updates but it didn't. Was roaming on my phone today and somehow found myself in the phone update menu. I tapped on check for updates and low and behold I could download an update. My problem is now that I'm on a custom recovery how would any update i download even manage to install? And even if it does is there a possibility that it might cause troubles like re-enabling dm-verity lock and bricking my phone? I wanna know what might happen if I proceed to download and install that OTA update.

Personally I would not do the OTA as it may not update properly (if even at all). Every phone I have rooted before this was one of the cautions usually posted... I would double check in what ever tutorial, thread, utility faq you used to make sure.
I would suggest you wait for an update to be made that is flashable with your custom recovery. If your custom recovery has the feature (like TWRP) make a backup of what you have installed, flash the update and if things don't work you can restore your backup.
I miss having that kind of backup/restore ability via custom recovery on my phone.. sure comes in handy when things go sideways
Nothing happens. According to my experience and contents in the OTA zip, twrp will simply just spit it out. No dm-verity re-lock or bricking too.
You can always download one of the custom systems which are regularly updated.
Example would be Soldier ROM.
I recommend find your new firmware and flash it. You will lose all of your file and root-recovery you can have them all back

Knox on Samsung Galaxy A02s

Hello.
I've got an Samsung Galaxy A02s phone, which previously been Knox locked by service provider.
Fortunatelly for me, I was lucky enough to open settings and remove Knox app.
Now I can use this phone like it never been locked, except didn't tried to factory reset it.
My question is, after factory reset will Knox be active again? If so, is it gonna lock phone again?
Is it possible to flash this phone with Android that is Knox-free.?

To do it , in first download your system phone and flash it with Magisk and save it in a PC and install odin (on ur pc) and install you patched firmware with Odin.
Do I have to modify the system downloaded from my phone?
If so, how to modify it properly?
Download your firmware, unzip it and flash the AP file with Magisk app and save the New AP file patched with magisk in tour PC. After put your Phone in download mod and install new AP patched in ap slot on Odin.
Could any of you provide instructions how to remove Knox with Magisk step by step?
Never used that software and I'm kind of afraid of doing something wrong, that could cause bricking my phone.
