Hello, this is a minimal ROM based on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop LRX22G, compiled with the latest source code AOSP android-5.0.2_r1. The ROM is 100% AOSP and I made a little customizations:

Google Apps
The ROM brings a minimal set of Google services.
My advice is to not flash other Gapps packages because all apps can be installed
through the Google Play Store.
Prerequisites
Your Nexus 5 needs an unlocked bootloader and a custom recovery (TWRP or CWM).
How to install
Connect your Nexus 5 to your PC with the USB-microUSB cable;
Copy the ROM (zip file) into the internal memory;
Reboot in recovery mode;
Wipe data;
Install the zip file;
Reboot and wait for a while.
The first boot takes a very long time, so don't worry if you see the Android boot
animation for more than 5 minutes. This is due to the new ART runtime which needs
to optimize apk files at the first boot.

The ROM is just rooted.

Oh, it's ok, I accept advices and criticism (in both positive and negative ways).
This is a pure AOSP based ROM but with nice features like the slide to unlock, quick settings tiles and other minimal things.
To change the way to unlock the display you have to edit this file:
/system/etc/kalo.sh
Change "sweep2wake" into "doubletap2wake".

I can't get this to flash. Just tries to flash zip, without any errors, but with no progression. I've wiped everything and attempted 3 different times. I waited for 7 minutes the last time. I definitely want to try it once it is fixed! Looks like my kind of ROM.
Is there a specific gapps we have to flash? I flashed latest Pa Gapps and it skips the whole set up process and then after I chose my default home screen it the system ui crashes.

A minimal set of Gapps are included, other apps can be downloaded from the Play Store.
Won't Flash!!

Yes, for sure: the only way is to edit this file, pleced in
/system/etc/kalo.sh
and remove the last line in the text.
Anyway I'm noticing a huge battery drain too... On the Nexus 4 it was a lot better.
Maybe I will disable this feature in the next releases.

i tried it out last night. I must say, its pretty speedy and very smooth. i could see a big difference with this ROM and the previous ROM i was running, which was Android Revolution 1.1.0. the only problem i had was the contacts app which i press my own contact (Me) and press the sync tab afterwards, it would force close. Im sure its just a bug, so im gonna try factory resetting the phone (not from the recovery menu) and see if that fixes it. Other than that, i love this ROM

also i noticed that the camera flash wont work. i pressed the flash button on the camera, but it tells me "unable to use flash due to cold weather".... its freaking 65 degrees in my house

I believe that's a kernel issue that Faux was working on, flash 008, 008b1 or 008b2. Should fix it.

Can you implement in next release of this rom some init.d tweaks, that hafidzduddin have implemented in TWRP kernel zip package? They give me 300 more points in Antutu and made i8160 a bit faster in response. Supressed ROM can be improved with it a bit.
Remember about that tweaks also, when you will be porting JetMOD rom.

Hello, nice job Messi. I have pair of questions about this ROM. Can you tell to me what files are responsible for moded phone app (including contact app), settings (like in ICS) and lockscreen?

I don't really get it, does this simply work with the stock recovery? Also is it possible to make a flashable zip or provide the files for the original samsung keyboard, that i like better?

i'm back to this rom after a while on liquidsmooth, and i noticed that camera shoots at 640*480! this means that i didn't sent to howpathetic some fixes, i'll look into it

can you take a photo, and then check image details?? settings were showing correctly 2560x1920 to me, but actual photo was 640x480!

well, keep in mind that this rom is as stock as possible, so you should compare it with a stock sense 3.6 rom but i noticed that automatic brightness keeps brightness too high!

Thank you, it worked for me but i had to wipe cache + dalvik after the install
One more thing : I know you want to keep heritage as stock as possible but can you think about adding advanced reboot ?
This. This is the ROM I've been waiting years for; a stock, untweaked, Sense 4 ROM. Every Sense 4 ROM I've tried was always too modified.
I just wish this was for the CDMA version.

before or after flashing it shouldn't matter, if you don't reboot in the meanwhile, but it's working, that's the important
no, i wont, at least on heritage. we will consider to re-base yas or whatever it will be on heritage, then you'll have mods like advanced power menu, battery%, and so on

Well, i could give cdma rom a shot, but debugging is awful since i have to rely on users' logs/reports (if any), i don't have much time, and the result would be stuck like yas shooter version!
I want to make clear that i won't negate permission to any dev/user, this rom is a port, and i'd be glad if it could reach also shooter users!
If you feel comfortable with basic zipmodding i can give you some hints
I am waiting for full working Heritage, the rom I'm looking for months! Full stock Sense4.1. If I find some free time I will make some tests and give logs! Thanks for the rom!

Yes you need to flash gapps and your flash issue isn't recovery related due you the fact that I have the same recovery as you . Maybe a bad download.

Hmm, the camera works fine in the morning. In the afternoon, there is a notification that cant connect to the camera. I reboot, then camera works again.but it is not clear.so blur.
I use l use lenovo camera too.it works but FC.
Anyone know that issue??

strange. had camera app installed.
re installed this rom to tweak again after i broke it.
now i have "google camera" not "camera". anyway to get it back? it was good
This rom is great. Reminds me of my Nexus 4 that broke. Loved that phone. I've used cm roms for ages on this phone and never used any of the fancy features in them so this rom is perfect for me.
Any thing new here? Any updates ( 4.4.4) or some bugfix?

It is best to clean flash ... each version ! ! !
Grow some and get over it....
I recommend to always flash fresh and clean... or you leave yourself open for trouble...
move /copy all important data to ext SD and/or PC... stuff happens especially if formatting.
wipe everything...including internal SD..(HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to Format internal SD) AND FORMAT if coming from another rom.
Install ROM
do not install any apps yet....
let the rom settle about 30 minutes
Try out all the usual things to see if you have issues...
if not...
load up your app

Sweet rom, but sometime it lags and freezes.
Flashing now.....
Yeah it started off smooth but quickly started lagging. Wiping dalvik and cache help for a while though.
Totes ma goats sent from ma notes.
Flashed and running well so far. But 3minit and Norma settings force close when accessed through the settings menu.

i installed the rom but am not getting a data connection. i never do a dirty flash and this time i even took that extra step and even wiped my internal drive but to no avail.. am i the only one that is having this issue?
