Directions posted in OP hopefully that will solve some of the issues..
Please read them..make sure you know what a FULL wipe is..
Also those people not able to turn wifi on, have you flashed and updated to MJ9 firmware? If NOT.. you need to, to have working wifi..
If you are still having issues, my next suggestion would be to odin back fully to stock, re run CASUAL and then try again.
I will be all over this Monday if people continue to have issues. But PLEASE read the installation intrusions before you report your having issues.
Know that A LOT people have already flashed this and it works perfect fine..so if you having issues make sure you are doing things correctly before blaming this STOCK ROM
Thanks again for the support!

Is an Odin to mj9 required to use this ROM?
Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk

I flashed the Odex version and everything went smooth. I'm finding I can't connect to my wifi network, but it isn't like the old 4.3 problems where wifi would shut off. It just tries and tries to obtain an IP but never does. Can anyone else confirm this same thing?
I do have the MJ9 firmware used with 4.3. Just for fun I flashed it again to see if that would fix wifi and it didn't. I'm heading home and going to see if it will connect to my home network.
Thanks again for everyone involved in putting this together!!

If I'm running the port, without any noticeable issues, any reason I should switch?

Yes, same issue with wifi here.

I am going to pull the download. I have a debloated, deodexed, init.d enabled, knox free, and wifi tether fix version that is about to go up. It does not have any wifi issues. Sorry for the troubles.

[ROM|Stockish|NO KNOX] Tab Pro 8.4 TouchWiz KitKat 4.4.2 (T320UEU1AND3) DeOdex

I have removed Knox so I suppose this is no longer a Stock Rooted, but more like Stockish Rooted.
I have also included the SD fix to platform.xml.
[size=+4]DOWNLOAD HERE[/size]
FULL ROM:
DeOdex:
Touchwiz KitKat 4.4.2 T320UEU1AND3
MD5: c5e1991f353c163282df41b72cda46a7
[size=+4]WiFi problems?[/size]
Try this:
Due to "securestorage" being set to true in build.prop, changes to the ROM or kernel that aren't reflected in the ss_id file in /system/etc/secure_storage/.system.bin.wpa_supplicant/ can cause issues with WiFi among other things. You can set this to false yourself, or simply flash the zip file below.
Download: Set Secure Storage to False
For those that prefer to do it manually, simply change this line ro.securestorage.support=true to false in /system/build.prop.

Nice...
Nice...
Glad to see more developers hopping in with some quality roms.
Question: did you experience any random reboots at all? I'm stock rooted and I have them, I can't seem to identify the main cause for this, could it be that Secure Storage thing in build.prop?
Man, You work fast.. Im excited that You and JB are here.. Im downloading this, and I dont even have the Tab yet.. These are truly exciting times..
First of all, thanks for a new ROM.
Tried to install with TWRP 2.7.0.2 failed. Switched to latest Phil success.
I cannot get the pin lock to work. It keeps reverting back to swipe.
Thanks
I managed to capture a logcat but I can't seem to identify the cause of random reboots, can anyone assist with that pls...

The only rom so far that installs the kernel is Barren v3.
Or you can get the flashable stock kernel from the Stock ZV4 ROM thread.
I'll be updating all those to include the kernel shortly. I had to wait for Bump to include it.

This is a 95% stock Lollipop 5.0 rom........I'm not going to make a colorful thread on this. Its just
a stock rom with a few features . Please note that I am not going to add anything, nor will I remove
anything else.
Once a new update drops from T-Mobile I will update the rom............
Features
Stock G900TUVU1DOB1
Rooted with SuperSU
Deodexed
4-Way Power Menu
Removed Batter Cover Toast Message
Disabled Signature Verification (user apps)
Working Private Mode
Init.d Performance Scripts
Added Sqlite3
Added BusyBox
Removed Security Pop-Ups
Enabled Unknown Souces as default
How to Flash
YOU MUST BE ON OB1 FIRMWARE TO FLASH THIS
I use TWRP for all of my roms. But, I'm sure other recoveries will work just as well.
A FULL wipe is required if you are coming from ANY rom. I advise a full wipe anytime you flash
a rom......Prevents any issues from popping up.
1. Download the rom
2. Make a backup of your current rom
3.Full Wipe (system,cache,dalvik,data)
4. Flash
5. Boot time can be up to 10 minutes...............

This ROM sounds like it's right up my alley, so thanks for posting it! I think I'll try flashing this 1, and I have a few questions.
1. Is KNOX removed completely?
2. Does it have the tether MOD of 1TB? If not, is there a way that I can flash it myself?
3. Can I flash Viper4Android or will I have to use another kernel? If I need another kernel, which do you recommend?
So I have to update to stock ob1 via Odin and root it and then flash this rom???

Stagefright Fix

I have pulled the appropriate libs from the OH1 update and put them in a flashable zip for those of you who want a fix for the stagefright Vulnerability, but don't want to update. I am currently on the OC5 build and I flashed the zip and the vulnerability has been fixed.
IMPORTANT: I have only tested this on the stock deodexed OC5, I can not speak on if it will work for anything else. If you're not on the OC5 build flash at your own risk!!

Hey JoHnNYBlaZE716, the binary-script removes the calendar and stuff since the script was from another package. I am not that familiar with Stagefright but I assume only the library files are needed since they seem to be the only thing in the system path.
Code:
delete("/system/app/Calendar.apk");
delete("/system/app/GoogleCalendar.apk");
delete_recursive("/system/app/GoogleCalendar");
delete_recursive("/system/app/CalendarGoogle");
delete_recursive("/system/app/Calendar");
Sorry I took a zip I had laying around, I'll fix that asap

One of the 2 apps will show as vulnerable still due to Google not catching the issue all the way. It is something on googles end that's all I know. There will most likely be another update fixing it completely. The app you're using should only show one of them in red correct?

@GuyInDogSuit yes, I changed my DPI. Sorry about that.
Cheers, I will close my thread off now, as this is newer. Thanks for hosting.

Is it set to 460? That's what ROM Toolbox is telling me.
Just flashed this and everything looks to be working great. Thanks again for doing this, the upgrade prompts were driving me bonkers. I did notice the dpi change and I like it. Much cleaner.

I don't know how to change it other than with an app once it's flashed.

I have Android Pay working on the official LVY48F image, but I'm pretty sure the DPI change that was done with this will not work with it. Also had to hold off on rooting until after it was set up.
Sorry guys. I didn't mean to change it in the rom. I just wanted it set to 460 on my phone. I can give you a different build.prop file or correct it and upload again. Give me a second and I'll upload a correct build and a 2nd flashable zip to correct dpi only.
EDIT: Attached is the flashable zip to set the density to 560 which is stock. I am uploading the full ROM with it corrected and I will post the link here when it's done.
P.S. If someone tries the attached zip, please post and confirm that it fixed your DPI. Thanks!
Here's the link to the same build with the stock 560 DPI: http://d-h.st/K2Ee
thx boss the way o wanted appreciate it

I'm getting a system update notification. Go ahead, or ignore?

You shouldn't be receiving an update message is you're running this build. Check your settings about and make sure that your build number is LVY48F. The update will fail if you try to accept it.
I got the update notification when I first booted but have not seen it since.
Was running the wrong version, 48C, my bad. Thanks guys.

If you ever get another one, don't update. It'll fail if you have a custom recovery. Even if you had stock recovery, you'll then lose root and be encrypted again. Wait for a ROM update.
^^ what he said, learned that the hard way

I think it'll fail even if you're so much as rooted.

Hello everyone,
I'm running into an issue here, I flashed this ROM so I could activate my Project Fi invite. Unfortunately, I am getting the same message as I've gotten on every other ROM. First, I will get error T301 and cannot do anything I'm the app. Eventually I get around it by attempting to choose network operators in the settings but get stuck at the part where I am trying to transfer my number. After typing in all the account info and selecting next, I get a notification at the bottom of the screen that reads "something went wrong".
I've been wondering, do I need to flash any of the radios, base (baseband?), or any other of the things that are linked in the OP? If so, which ones?
P.S. I have never flashed a different radio or bootloader etc. on this phone since I purchased in May.
If that's not the case does anyone have any idea what could be the issue? Any help is highly appreciated and I thank you in advance!
