Ok i love miui roms i have one installed on my lg l9 p760 but i have one problem [internal sd card emulation] and because of it i cant use my lg l9 with miui rom cuz it has that emulation and all appdata putted on micro sd wont work if u know how can you please tell me how to disable that emulation i would love to use miui rom but cant because of it :good::crying:

Ok try this:
1) Using TWRP: Go to WIPE option, Select Advanced and check-mark all componets for wipe except "external storage" and wipe...
2) Flash the MIUI rom V5 (4.5.23)
3) Flash this patch
4) Tell me if work.
5) Press Thanks Button :angel:
Im repack the boot.img from MIUI v5 4.5.23 and make mods (This must work... )

1.You simply dont cry
2.What the hell you did to your phone
3.You explain your problems,what happened before,you get a FC?
If incase you dont follow the above instructions,then you get unproductive solutions as the above ones because no one knows what happened and is just doing some guess work,which could mess up your phone.

Use Root Explorer,go to /system/app.Find SystemUI.apk,if its not there,or even if its there,its equal to not being there as you dont have a status bar anyway.
1.Extract your firmware (In case,you dont know which firmware you are using,then,Go to Settings>About Phone,you can find it there.Search for the firmware in sammobiles.com and download it.)
2.Extract firmware
3.Get SystemUI.apk from /system/app.
4.Transfer it to your sd-card
5.Move SystemUI.apk from sd-card to /system/app using Root Explorer
6.Long-click the apk and set permissions to rw--r-r.
7.Reboot phone and done

Your firmware is DXKT7.Its rw--r-r...Not rw--w-r..If that doesnt work too,then there is nothing else for you to do other than to flash a rom.

I would like to know how would I proceed with removing a mod once I have it installed.
Let's say I use one of the mods released by Vreestyle as seen on this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=34391427#post34391427 , how could I uninstall it and go back to the system default theme?

You need to look and see if there is a deafult theme/pack you can flash which changes the them back to deafult.

i am afraid, u have to reflash the rom to get back ur default system theme since the Mod will replace ur default frame wrk as well as all those system apps like Dialer,contacts etc

u can do so only if its(the Mod) an Apk file installed and been selected vide settings>theme.
but this is a modified zip file of Framewrk as well as some syatem apps, hence u cant rewert back unless there is 'Default theme' zip file to flash.
so the only solution would be to reflash the rom once again
U have to flash the main ROM base again with out any wipe ...do not worry u will not loose anything.

all my problem now is i delete system app called "dialer storage " by mistake and that make sim management on the setting dummy (off )
and no mobile network for both sim 1 &2 tried alot to solve it but useless

i did it re flash it with the tool you provied and it gives me green meter with 100 % not green cycle i try to open it but nothing happen he totly dead and when i try to reflash it i cant get preload com 6 again
every time i connect my phone it gives me "DA USB VCOM port (Com8)"

Do they still have all of the quick toggles and recents backwards? (Like it has been on stack since launch)... I hated that, made stock unusable for my daily driver phone. I like the new options though and want to try it.

Ignore that message,just swipe to turn on and will boot normally.

I think it's normal just reboot the OS should be there. I tried one of this stock rom before it shown no OS but OS was there.

Copy the Launcher3.apk in system/launcher3 Folder
overwrite the original file,this works form me.
But backup the original launcher3.apk or install a another launcher from Playstore Nova,Goolelauncher...
If something goes wrong,you can still go back.
or make a Nandroid Backup in twrp
I just managed to extract the launcher3 folder in any area and install apk
A simple flashable ZIP to allow biometric unlock after reboot
Based on mods to SystemUI app from stock G955FXXU1CRB7 firmware
Will wipe cache and dalvik-cache to be safe
Download zip, go to recovery, backup your phone in case, flash and enjoy!
Uninstaller zip replace the stock SystemUI
Free to use!

You willing to make mod for note 8 snapdragon? I tried to do the mod myself but didn't work (maybe cause i didn't wipe cache and dalvik).....Did it and worked on my note 7...but just can't get it to work on my 8.

Finally got the time to backup system and try the mod.
Luckily I did backup system first.
I guess it just won't work if the systemUI is from another model.
After flashing in recovery, system rebooted but apps were optimized again as if I cleared cache and dalvik.
Once booted, no lock screen, directly into home screen, and once I lock the phone, wasn't able to unlock through any means except camera shortcut (double tap power button).
So please @Arteush, patch the systemUI for my model. Thanks a lot!
