Because this is an AOSP based rom Google Apps are not included. Flash the gapps of your choosing after you flash rom. If you need help finding a gapps package, ask any of us and we'll be happy to help
These builds are designed to be installed from your favorite recovery. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE LATEST 5.1.X COMPATIBLE RECOVERY.
Detailed instructions:
Going to EOS 5.1.X from another rom:
Boot to recovery
BACKUP YOUR CURRENT SETUP!!!
Make a full wipe (Dalvik, Dalvik Cache, System, Data
Flash the rom
Flash optional kernel if you choose to not use provided kernel **We DO NOT support outside kernels**
Flash gapps
Reboot
Updating from an older EOS build to new EOS build:
You can usually skip the full wipe step and just wipe both Dalvik. If ever you encounter an issue make sure you make a full wipe first before reporting it. This is what most call "Dirty Flashing". Normally this doesn't cause problems, but keep in mind a clean flash is always the best way to go.
M8 comes with Xboxfanj's eXcaliBur kernel, which is found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2755044

There are apps in play store to do it

Love the new update in general. Is there a reason why the youtube playback is discolored? has anyone else had this issue? Or is there a fix that i am overlooking??

I've heard that flashing the updated Adreno blobs fixes it. Let me know and if it does, I will add them to the source.

What's Broken:

ROMS
ROMS should contain everything you need to enjoy JB. You are not required to install any Add Ons, simply download the latest ROM, gapps, flash it, and go!
You are STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup - these can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug. If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience strange behavior.
We use RobotoLight as default font. However, if u want to revert to stock font please flash this after flashing ROM: LINK
Even more flashable fonts: LINK

Can you add a features list, or a link to a post with features list please.
Download link is fixed. I downloaded it twice myself, so it should be no problems.
I'll get a feature list going in just a minute here. My mouse froze while creating the topic, so I kept it as basic as I could so I at least could post what I had done so far before rebooting.
I got some screen shots I might get up here sometime tomorrow.

You can try it. I'm on cdma myself, so I cann't try it.
I've been running it since this morning and no bugs so far. I don't use hangouts, Bluetooth, and such, so I can't comment on those. Took some nice sharp photos though.

So far so good. No FC's, fast, smooth, and like all the customization's (don't use them all, but still). Active Display works flawlessly. Thank you for porting this - love it!
I have video underrun on every 4.3.1 ROM that I flash. Is it a problem with my phone or can I fix it by RUUing and starting from scratch? Or is it a common issue? I haven't decided if it bothers me enough to really care.

Attention
This is an ongoing project being developed by the SlimRoms team.
As it is an ongoing project, many features have yet to be included yet as they are still being implemented and tested.
I will do my best to keep this rom updated alongside the official releases(maybe even more so(mid-weeklies)) but the rom is not perfect...yet
I am not responsible for anything that may occur during the usage of this ROM. You chose to flash it, you take the consequences
IMPORTANT
I may be looking into possibly giving the project over to a new maintainer
please contact me if interested

FAQ
Q: Where is root access?
A: root access must be enabled through developer settings, which is enabled by tapping "about>build number" 7 times
Q: where is superuser?
A: "advanced options>superuser"
FIRST
Good work man. You worked through it. I'll play with this tomorrow.
Runs solid for me. Very smooth and stable. SMS/MMS works great. Camera works. Have not tested calling. I had to install SU and I can't find performance, but that may be by design (not sure).

i should probably make a FAQ
you have to enable developer settings and then turn root on
when that happens performance comes and superuser is in there by default
ill make an FAQ now
EDIT: no performance options yet
I had already done what you suggested I just can't find performance options. Could be my issue. This build is really solid. Loving it. Great first build.

Perfect. Thanks for that!
Two more questions, I flashed the Photosphere .zip, but can't find the option in the camera. Any tricks to that one?
Second one, any way to map long-press back and longpress recent button to other functions?
Thanks!
Really good to see that you finally made it

Yeah I'm pretty sure the omnirom m7 kernel is customized to work with omni(ie different from the CM version) and not optimized to work with the DNA(because we share the same kernel) but I'm not a kernel dev so I could be wrong,
I'm gonna be building illusion(ultimatumKang? Uxylon?) Later today too

Welcome to EOS! The EOS project originated with the AOSP release of ICS, and was originally founded by Solarnz and co-founded by Bigrushdog. Since then, EOS has evolved into a multinational collaborative effort backed by top Android developers. Our objective is to provide a world class AOSP build with unique features and enhancements. EOS is an ongoing development project in which builds are released on a regular basis. Every release should be considered stable and highly functional.
Bigrushdog - Project lead, Chief Developer [Xoom || Galaxy Nexus || HTC One (M7)]
RaymanFX - Co-leader, AOSP code maintainer [Xperia S || Nexus 7 (2013) || OPPO N1 || OPPO Find7a]
jrior001 - Jenkins/Gerrit Admin, CAF code maintainer [HTC One X]
anders3408 - Frameworks Developer [OPPO Find5 || OPPO N1]
Roach - Frameworks Developer [Nexus 4 || Nexus 7 (2013) || HTC One (M8)]
Connor Baker [Nexus 4 || HP Touchpad]
Code:
NX Gesture Navigation Bar
EOS Weather Engine
Custom Quick Toggles Tiles with Brightness & Volume Seekbars
Softkeys Long-Press Actions
Network Indicator
Battery Indicator Mods
Clock Mods
T-Mobile Theme Engine
Force Navigation Bar on any device
Volume keys switch depending on rotation. So the volume up key is always either on the top or to the right of volume down. (Toggle-able)
Default Volume Control Stream (Ring or Media)
Advanced power menu with reboot options.
We give much love and respect to Cyanogenmod. The AOSP scene would not exist as it does today without them. We implement some of their branches to support legacy devices and features that users have demanded.

Welcome! A brief introduction to the philosophy behind TeamEOS is in order:
If you're looking for a project with every feature on the planet, then this ROM is not for you. TeamEOS incorporates features that revolve around simplicity.
TeamEOS took a brief hiatus to work with the CodefireX project. Unfortunately, that all ended up going south in a blaze of glory. In the TeamEOS repo, you'll see references to CFX code. That code was written by team lead of EOS, bigrushdog, and is thus rightly used in his project.
I run EOS on my Mako as my daily driver. I personally have not had any issues with it, and there are some lovely things in the works.
*A note about my builds:
My builds may have some things changed. They may have changes from Gerrit or may be using a different kernel, or are simply compiled at a different time by me. These builds are not representative of TeamEOS, and I am not responsible for any harm that may come to your device (or yourself as a result) should you choose to use them.
IF/WHEN YOU REPORT A BUG:
Please make sure to do a full wipe, with no mods (fonts, kernels, etc.) installed, and see if the issue persists. This helps us narrow down what could be causing the issue. And please, please, include a log. There are a bunch of swell guides here on XDA that will help you get a log. I use this one as reference: Clicky-Click.
Third and final Reserve.

This ROM is extn4 based so you need to convert it to F2FS by @+NABENDU1's script in android section. :good:

First part of your question is answered above.
I don't understand what you're asking in the second part though.
EDIT: If you were talking about Chinese language support, then maybe. If AOSP supports it, we support it. If it doesn't have it, you're always welcome to translate it and put it up on our Gerrit for review.

Hey Connor, running the latest build for a couple of hours now accompanied with AKs kernel and it just feels great! Thank you! May I ask whether long pressing the volume rocker to skip tracks will be included in future builds? Or you guys decided against it? It's the only feature I actually miss using this rom.

Glad you're enjoying it! I brought the idea up to the team. However, if they don't find it useful, don't expect it to be merged in.

This uses GCC 4.7. Nothing supremely fancy. While it does perform well, this ROM is definitely more feature and stability driven.

PS: When I have more free time, I'll switch it over to 4.8-Linaro for Mako builds. I'm most likely not going to touch the kernel to try to make it better, as there are already a bunch of people on here who understand the Linux Kernel far better than I do. I recommend any of the kernels that you find on this site. It's mostly just personal preference.

We have also come up with the Candy Sweetener Pack. This is an Aroma installer that is full of delicious treats. Inspired by the CandyShop thread on XDA it has everything from glow dots to halo mods.

Sorry folks but wifi is NOT working for me with this build. Also if you try to put a phone call in speaker mode, it will reboot immediately.
A new build is in the making after pulling in some more commits. This looks to have fixed the issues with wifi & bluetooth.

You need "CM ready TWRP" from THIS THREAD here. Do a factory reset before you flash this rom if coming from sense roms.
NOTE: Using speakerphone during a call WILL cause a REBOOT! I am still working on LTE also.

As you see from the post above that speakerphone is not working & I don't think LTE is neither. I am in an outlying area of 4G but do see it popup a few times a day with sense roms but I have NOT seen it with this one yet. I don't use BT so you tell me what else is not working? This should have an official CM build out very soon as well since Flyhalf205 & his help have gotten this pushed to gerrit. Now the files have made it to github

Added t6vzw to the OP and the t6 International as well. Backup your rom & enjoy! I only own the Sprint variant & cannot test the others so make sure you nandroid first and give feedback to this thread please.
