/mnt/mmc/Downloaded Data - Need some Help with - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I am new to Android and recently bought a Tab2 10.1 (SCH-I915). It is rooted and I deleted the system/etc/kies folder thinking it was remnants of the stand alone Kies program that I found out is not compatible with my device after having installed it . Now I have the same problem with internal memory showing up as /mnt/mmc/Downloaded Data. when connected to and viewed on PC. Can someone send me a copy of the system/etc/kies folder on a SCH-I915 so I can replace it?
I looked for a stock firmware for this tablet and can not find one to extract the folder from. I tried the firmware for a SCH-I925 but the folder contains different files and does not correct the problem.
I also did a factory reset but that did not replace/re-install the folder. It needs to be from a SCH-I915 model I suppose, Please help, If you have a SCH-I915 and could copy the entire folder and send it as an email attachment or .zip/.rar or if someone has found a place to download the SCH-I915 firmware I can extract it myself......
Started a new thread as the old one was over 6 months old. Found this as a solution posted on the old thread

[Q] How to create a custom ROM for SmartQ Ten3 T15?

Hi all,
I have a SmartQ ten3 T15 Android 4.0 tablet (TI OMAP 4430 SoC) on the way to me from China.
As I like to have all files on hand before gadgets arrive, I downloaded the standard firmware yesterday from the SmartQ website.
As I read somewhere (don't know where) that sometimes firmware files are zip files I renamed the extention-less firmware file to .zip and I could just open the file with winrar and extract the complete file structure of this ROM.
That got me thinking of creating my own ROM files, but first I'd like to have some questions answered by people with experience doing this.
Normal firmware update on this tablet is done via micro SD card, and by entering a boot option while holding down certain keys.
The questions:
- Is it as easy as putting in or taking out the files in the folder structure, zip the files and remove the extention and update it to the tablet?
- Winrar says the file is signed with signApk, but this also seems a very straightforward procedure to signing my own ROM's. Or will the tablet only accept files signed with their certificates?
- Anybody else have experience with firmware files for other devices who work the same way? And do you have tips for me?
One of the things I'm trying to achieve is getting bluetooth and FM to work, the hardware supports it but it is disabled by firmware.
And further on I would just like to customize the tablet further, by removing apps and adding my own and so on.
Thanks in advance for your help.

[Request] Alcatel 983 Files

I'm new to Android but thought I'd have a mess around with it on my new phone. Seems I've got into a bit of trouble and now the phone isn't working too well.
Looking for a backup of Alcatel 983 data to try and resolve the problems I have.
Thanks
I'm looking for the same.
It would be highly appreciated
I've sent back the phone I had problems with and purchased another one.
I've Rooted and installed TitaniumBackup (free) using the USB so there should be no user details in the backup.
A backup of all the System Files and Apps was created and put into the SD card which I've put into a ZIP file and uploaded online.
I've had no need to test the files, so if you do test them then please leave some feedback.
Open the ZIP file and put the TitaniumBackup folder onto the SD Card.
Thanks.

Files disappeared from phone's download folder after update (OnePlus 2 6.0.1)

Hi there, yesterday I noticed that about 500mb of files disappeared from my downloads folder. I am not exactly sure what caused this to happen but i suspect it to be a system update a day prior (Only other things that changed recently was that I installed and uninstalled malwarebytes). All files except for around 10 had disappeared (dont think it has anything to do with their file format as other files of the same format disappeared as well). However files within subfolders inside the downloads folder were fine. My android shows that the space is free (51.7 gb used of 53.9) and i cant find the files with diskdigger when i tried, even though it had found files i had deleted from a year ago. However when I plugin my phone to my PC, my pc shows that 52.2gb of 53.9gb of space is being used (although i still cant see/find the files on pc except for a 126b M3U file). Im wondering if theres anyway to get the data back and what is causing the issue.
Thanks
(Im sorry if this question doesnt belong here, new to xda. Please direct me to the right subforum if I posted this in the wrong section)

Files on SD turning 0Byte after transferring backup

At first, sorry if that's the wrong thread, i'm not really used to forums.
Now lets get to my problem.
I made a backup of my audio files to my computer a few weeks ago.
Since the backup i downloaded some files via youtube downloader etc.
Yesterday i saw that some of my music is missing on my phone i backed up on my computer.
So i got on my computer opening the folder with all the backuped audio files/folders, marked them all and just copied them to my audio/music folder on my phone.
I did not get the message "do you want to keep/skip/override already exusting files"
my plan was to skip all files already existing, but it seems it just copied ALL files and now i have some twice or three times, but not all.
and now the Problem: all files i downloaded after the backup a few weeks ago (and moved to the same folder where my music is) went into 0 byte files and i cannot use them anymore.
any idea why and how to solve this/get my files back???
my phone: Huawei P8 Lite (pra-lx1) Stockrom firmware B170 rooted with the guide here on xda and Magisk and systemless xposed

Q3 MT7891C missing systemui.app

Hello!
I have managed to root the tablet and then started removing some apps with Titanium backup app. Unfortunately I accidentally deleted an app starting with syst.... - did not see the whole name. The tablet restarted and now there are no back, home buttons and slide menues from above, no multitasking. The Android version is 4.2.2. I have managed to install some hover buttons, CW custom recovery. Found the rom and downloaded it. I guess the app that I am missing is in system.img file? How can I extract /browse the contents? There are some img extractor apps but i cant find a valid link to download such. Is it true that if i find the apk and put it in the system folder the problem will be fixed? Please advise me what to do! I thought of flashing the device with mtk flash tool but i dont have a computer to do this with ?
Any advice would be appreciated!
Regards,
Kamen
Hello,
I have managed to extract the Systemui.apk and systemui.odex files from the system.img firmware file. Put them in system/app with the correct permissions, restarted - still not working! In the net somebody advised that I try deleting the .odex file and / or install the systemui.apk (installation fails) . No solution again!
Please advice!
