y do u wana flash it as a ZIP file u can easily mve it to ur sd card nd set it as ur wallpaper

Go to the folder of the photo you want to compress,
then right click on the folder
go to send to > press compressed (zipped) folder
or choose your archiver manager for example: your using winrar > press add to archive

Here are notification and ringtones from the Nexus
HOW TO USE:
1. On your SD card make a folder called "media"
2. Make another folder into it called "audio"
3. Make 2 folders one called "notifications" and the other called "ringtones"
4. Extract the zip, and go into the ringtones folder in the zip, copy or move them in to sd/media/audio/ringtones for the notification sounds.
If u already have one:
Directly Extract and go to sd/media/audio/ringtones and paste it...:laugh:

Hmm.....at last was able to port lightening from s4!!!!
U don't need to enable it from settings!!!! Just have to flash the given file in CWM recovery!!!!
Note:-
1) There is no loss of anything in this mod!!!!
2) It will work on both ODEX and DEODEX ROM!!!!

Are u sure that u have flashed it from the cwm recovery??? Not from d stock one!!!
Yes same result..gets aborted..& yes I am sure I am using CWM...

For ur kind of information, the stock recovery dont derect sd card so be sure that he is using cwm.

Sorry guyz....as I was busy with porting xperia z lock screen on our quattro i wasn't able to give my attention to this mod!!!!!

GRAND QUATTRO JASP NEXT LEVEL ROM
I ported a ROM and it installed successfully. After boot up i have the below error.
Can't open gallery, camera, File manager as it says no external memory found. Unable to access internal storage as well.
Kindly someone help on this issue.

Samflare ROM. I ported for my A117
What file manager you are using? Try some root Explorer look for Device folder there you will find storage folder. If you memory is not there then there is some serious problem in your port

Copy vold.fstab from system>etc from latest stock 4.2 rom and replace in this rom.

That is what i have did...( Since storage is not detecting how can i copy it to system/etc. So i copied it to the ROM and flashed it only)

My phone is Micromax A117. Previous ROM is Micromax Stock ROM / Magnus Galaxy S4 ROM.( Used both )

Can we access /system folder in phone/system memory via CWM or even when phone is not booting? My phone is stuck in boot, I need to copy build.prop kept at SD Card to /system folder.

I hav no idea of cmw but it can be done via twrp
Download aroma file manager
Mount system b data n install it via cwm
File manager s gonna get opened n u can do cut copy delete etc.

just download it place it in the root of ur SD card and rename it as "recovery" (without quotes) thn install mobileuncle thn click on update recovery it ll search 4 the revovery.img thn it ll guide u through the same :good:

Nd also mediatek devices r virtually unbrickable

But it's better to keep a backup of the data using Titanium backup :good:

recovery is flashed in order to flash custom rom r som mods so u should use CMW as u preffer
and rooting ur device r updating the recovery shouldn't affect ur aplications
as u told tht the game is not running pls do check if the OBB file is missing r if something is corrupt

I downloaded real racing 3 from play store of 16 MB.When I open it it is stucked on EA logo .According ton other games it should let me download the SD card data.or if I flash recovery will it help me in these things??

it s the games prob it has nothing to do with the recovery r rooting
it s not dowloading the data file so it s the prob of the game bro

This is my first post.its a transparent minimalistic system ui with grand icons.its for s5282.i dont know about single sim versions.
method:
open root folder using x-plore or es file explorer or root explorer.
make sure you have write permission
open system\app and replace the earlier version(always take backup)
restart
otherwise
poweroff
go to cwm recovery using power+home+volume up
intstall zip
select the appropriate location
restart
