Hallo I am new in here and sorry for my english.
I have flashed LiFe 07 and I very happy with this ROM, but I dont know how to disable battery icon (the upper right edge). Because I have shown also icon and also battery percentage, and I want to have only percentage.
I tried some Xposed modules for it but doesnt work on this rom (I only can change this icon to another, but disabling doesnt work).

I think is not possible to remove the icon. Only the percentage. I have this ROM.

I need flash all those files from this folder (Translated) or any one specific? May do it from TWRP v 2.5.0.0 ? Those files translate lifev07 to Slovak (Slovencina) language or its have more languages - all that U have on this pictures from link which I post earlier? And I need do any wipes (cache, dalvik-cache,..) before flash ?

Do a full backup from TWRP. I never broke my phone with that. Good luck.

Actually it's not, with the latest provided recovery (elsewhere in the dev forum) you can also flash with SUTL. the viewpad will reboot into recovery first and after a few seconds switch to fastboot.
This "new" factory stock ROM should be for newer ones with ITE hardware - great for "experimenting" with custom ones - from now on, nice to have the ability to restore it for warranty exchange, etc. etc.
And, yes, I can confirm that the SUTL will quickly flash the *.nb0 file - making it as good as new again.
swype is the only diffrences i think... so far...
Interesting thought Viewsonic wont release any new official ROMs for Viewpad7 hmm wow I was wrong
Wonder what more is there opposite Swype hmm for sure there have to be something enhanced worth updating?

Hehe, sorry... read a bit too fast.
Another stock rom had only English and Chinese as integrated languages.
A rom with german language would be nice to have...

I have tried to install from SD card under name "firmaware.nb0" but no one were accepted. I will try to do via PC .

There is a thread in general, by ckpv5, in which he has shared stock nandroid backups. They are odexed and CID 044 (hence WWE asia). U can use them.
10x, but these nandroid backups don't work for me, because they have only english...
how can I add additional languages??

Thanks... just notice that for 4.0.4, the process is hidden. Need to find another way other than making a custom stock ROM.
Actually for what purpose that you need the stock odex ROM ? I' asking because if you expect to get JB OTA it won't work as JB OTA will check for CID not ROM version,
I'm trying to get back to stock, brandingfree germany or branded o2 germany. both work for me. actually my CID is for o2 germany, but there is no RUU for o2 germany...

I have x.xx.707.x Nandroid Backup
To make a ROM, doesn't matter for which region as long as you have the required files.
To make a ROM for 1.18.401.1... just simply use nlooooo's decrypted ROM.zip found here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2184113 and I also still have the odexed Desire_X_1_18_system.tgz uploaded by internall77 somewhere mid Dec 2012 which was my first base for DX ported ROM to my One V.

I'd great to make a ROM fro decrypted nlooooo's files but I don't know how to do it (I extracted system.img and tried to open but it said it was corrupted). If you could tell me how to do it it would be great (otherwise I'll look in the internet to see if I can manage by myself).
And about the purely sotck odexed 1.18.401.1, I'd rather prefer the one with standar language.

just use ext2explore-2.2.71.zip download from http://sourceforge.net/projects/ext2read/files/Ext2read Version 2.2 (Latest)/
1. Put the system.img in the same folder with ext2explore.exe
2. Run the ext2explore.exe - you'll get a pop-up cannot read disk - click ok
3. Click File - Open Image (or click the first icon)
4. Choose your system.img
5. Right click to save your system.img extracted to your preferred folder (the left pane) - the right pane if you want save one by one.
6. Click OK ... let it finish... you are done
@ckpv5: maybe it is better to make it multilanguage, so that more people can use it...

I'll make one stock odexed 1.18.401.1 with standard language and also I'll give the files to make it multi-language and how to make it multi-language.. it's an easy part anyone could do it.
I'll make this tomorrow as I'm going out shortly.

I saw your thread on gfan and flashed the ROM a couple of days ago, however, I lost ROOT... I think. I tried installing WSM tools and got a popup msg saying "Failed to get root access". Now, I've no clue why( no I didn't make any mistakes during the installation). (¬▂¬)
Isn't MIUI supposed to be rooted by default? Whenever I flashed MIUI in the past there was no need to manually re-root my devices and install SuperSU, it simply worked.

I suppose, that device may not be fully rooted - is that possible? Can I check this in any way? Which App to check this is best (from google play)?

Hmm, ist strange as I dont do anything with that phone from the first run.
I suppose that this is my original ROM. Would you like to know details from system preferences to confirm which ROM I have?
I have especially bought the busybox +/pro version from Play. Is it good?

Hi. Yes from Settings/about phone or something / version information
I use BusyBox Free from Stericson . It is good !

What is interesting, now, when I gone to that menu and clicked "System update" Ive got info about app crash.
What is more inetresting in that ROM i havent any Lenovo native apps like Lenovo Power Manager, but I have other 'system' apps(cleaners,etc).

Could you please give me more informatiion what should I do now? I would like to use all features of Android, with OTG, networking advanced features, and VNC server. Bluetooth, and WIFI and GPS I also need.
And the most important - I need to have that STABLE. as stable as possible. And what is the most mportant now - everything is stable.

This is more diversified talk! For simple choice i recomend for the first time to choose betwen this 2 firmware:
ROW - means Rest Of the World
CN -china !
Here is the ROW : LINK!
Here is Baralajbi's firmware: LINK! This is CN based.
Both are flashed with SP Flash tool !
Tell me what ROM do you want to install from those 2 !

Would be great to have full support for European languages. I would like to ave t9 in English and few EU languages if possible.
Also I would like to have any way-back as I have 2 years of the warranty - is that possible to replace the ROM (and have good effects) and make it unvisible in service when , ex. I will have any problem in later time?

Hmmm... this is a little bit harder!
For complete backup you must do a trick and flash a custom recovery like TWRP. From the recovery you must do a full backup af your existing ROM.
After that you can replace your ROM with one i have showed you !
Try to reboot your phone in recovery and see iff you have allready a custom one !

Am I correct to do that by pushing [volume down] key when holding power button?
Additionally, could you please let me know if would be possibility to make the default storage on SD card?

Because you have your rom rooted you could download from market a small app called : Reboot to recovery !
Orr power off the phone and start with power vol- and vol+ pressed !

How to make the default storage on SD card:
Go to settings/storage/default write disk
There you will choose External Storage.
Voila: bigger storage!

As I havent seen that before (earlier on other phones TWRP and CWM only) I am not sure know if thath is enough to safe what I need ?

About the storage- I suppose that my P780 is 4gig-version.
I have done what you mentioned long time ago, but still have problems when trying to install new apps (and each I am moving to SD) - Insufficient storage space

Seems that you have stock recovery installed. You need to reflash one of that custom recovery.

Install from market Titanium Backup. Open it and on the first page take a screenshot and post here. I need to see the partitioning tipe.
