Hello,
i have a question regarding the internal memory for the S2
i can see that the phone memory is 2 G
also it has a internal usb storage about 11 G
i didn't buy an external card as i thought 11 G is enough for now
all the apps are intsalled on the 2G memory..how can i move them to the usb storage memory
from the settings>App>manage App..i can find move to sd card but i dont have one so it doesn't work
so how to move the apps to the usb storage also when i downoad any music where does it get saved
if i can't move the apps to the usb storage then what is its use
thanks in advance
1.some apps does not support move to sdcard,Try Tianium Backup to move them.
2.where is music depend on what app you use to download it. try to find them in your sdcard, just search them in use massive storage mode
u can use app2sd or link2sd apps drm market to move many apps to sd card....an yes tht came to my mind when i was on first android,,,y r the apps not saved on sd card directly...but there r solutions now so its ok...

you can't move
you can't move the app to ExtSDcard since LG has disabled this feature on ICS... instead follow this guide
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2108775
isnt there any way to do this without rooting? i just bought this phone and then compared to lg p500 rooting is so dificult to understand for me, that's why i don;t even try to do so.

[Q] Partitioning the SD Card

I bought a Moto E 1st Gen for my sister and she's managed to fill up the internal memory and his having issue fitting more apps on it.
I remember when I had a HTC Desire years ago I used 4EXT recovery to partition the sd card, so a portion of it behaved as if it were internal memory. Is it possible to use this or any other method to do the same with the Moto E 1st Gen?
Thanks.

You can partition sd card using mini partition tool on pc.
Alternatively for internal memory issue you can use xinstallerSD.
Thanks for the advise. How can does xinstaller help with the internal memory issue, does it allow you to move apps you normally wouldn't to the SD card?

ohh sorry its xinternalSD not xinstaller.
By using it your ext_sd will act as intnl mem
means apps can store their data and obb files on sd card.

Does it need xposed pre-installed? Anyone tested on moto e?
You can also partition SD card in twrp recovery
And use link2sd pro to move system as well as internal apps to SD card.
Hit thanks if I helped
I'm in much the same position as the OP; mother-in-law has a full Moto E, and I've got an HTC Desire so, given that X Install SD requires Root and the XPosed framework (as far as I can tell), why would I want to do this rather than going down a custom ROM route? I guess My mother-in-law isn't very tech savvy so I'd be hoping to make sure the phone works reliably but allows system updates (currently she's got loads of apps that need updating but they can't because there's insufficient storage), and allows her to install a few more apps etc.
Just for the record, I've looked through the FAQ section and find it a little bizarre that "How can I get more app storage space on my Moto E?" isn't a FAQ!
Thanks for any advice/help
John

If you unlocked bootloader and you did root permission you could try link2sd after partitioning your sd card
