Maybe it isn't bad to post some shots of our mini LG here right? It may only have 8mp but as per reviews it is very much capable of producing good pics. I love the manual focus of the camera, great feature. And also the HDR. Here's an example of my HDR on and off shots.

After I recieved both S4 mini and G2 mini I can say LG G2 Mini has far more edgy/blurry areas in the images.
This might be just software related but in the end S4 Mini is my choice.

I know there was a thread a while back but can't search on mobile successfully.
What is the purpose of image preview if it's about half a second being the actual photo saved to the SD card?
Seems like the preview saves directly after the photo was taken. Which is very pointless. Only has this issue when not using flash.
Any fix for this?

Do you mean when you just take a picture with the camera. You can change the preview duration in the settings to 3 or 5 or no limit. Is that what you mean?

No sir. I'm aware of the duration. I'm talking about the actual preview being half a second behind what the actual photo was. I'll pan my camera and take a screen shot of the review and what the actual photo was. 1 moment.

Here's one photo shot. The first photo is the review that comes up after the pictures us taken and the 2nd photo is the actual shot from the camera.

And this is the actual photo(no burst)
All I did was moved my camera from left to right as I took the photo and the review is actually where I ended not of the camera shot.

Can anyone test this so I know it's not just my phone. I have factory reset and it still does it. Make sure flash is off, turn on no limit for the review start to pan your camera in any direction or have somebody walk by and take the picture and check the preview then click the little box on the bottom right and see if the photo is different than the review.

heh? what do u mean better hd? xperia ray's resolution is 480 x 854 pixels, XS has 720p (1280x720)
but if u're talking about screen quality:
1. it depends on ur eyes, really objective..
2. afaik, sxs has three kind of screens ( i have the yellow tint guidelines pdf (in Chinese) which shows the three different screens of SXS), see the picture:

3. my SXS's screen is a lot of better than GS3's and heck it's better than iphone4s , mine is the white version though.

Sorry you were right.my problem was that i bought a screen protector before buying the phone. But the protector lets you feel like the screen looks horrible.im planning om buying a zagg screen protector.any ideas?

Should have left the stock one.
Just an afternoon out with wife for about 4 hours, from Queens to Manhattan. ..
I spotted at least 3 Galaxy note 2... That only lag the number of phone by 2 !
It is by the way. .. Very noticeable you can't ignore such a thing in front of you. .

If you think those are nice pics you should see a pic that's not so grainy... No offense OP but those pics don't seem the best? I don't think I could do any better myself though but I have seen some beautiful pics come from these cameras but I think it just takes time to learn all the settings and get the feel of the Note 2. The first one is not too bad though... :good:

Like I said, I probably can't do any better than that myself! I just know that the Note 2 and S3 are capable of VERY nice pics and the settings have me all confused too...:laugh: I try to stick to outdoor pics with good lighting and I always get good shots.

Double-flick wrist gesture to launch the camera anytime.
Panorama mode currently crashes.
