[Q] build.prop original file under International t6ul 4.4.2 Sense 5.5 required - HTC One Max

Gents,
I desperately need a help to get an untouched build.prop for my International One max running 4.4.2, preferably under region HTC_044, Asia WWE.
I've installed a Custom ROM which seemed to make changes to my build.prop and I had not thought about backing it up prior to installing the Custom ROM. Sorry for my noobness in this regard.
Hence, would appreciate it if someone from region HTC_044 or other International t6ul owner could upload his original build.prop running 4.4.2, CID: HTC_044, Asia WWE, MID: OP3PIMG preferably so I could take my region's Sense 6.0 OTA successfully.
Otherwise, is there a way to extract or pull build.prop from the previous OTA.zip?
Or, what are required to be deleted or changed from my current build.prop so I could make it original again?
Thanks.

Anybody?
Also, will re-flash the HBOOT (which comes with previous OTA 4.4.2 update) repair the inconsistent BUILD.PROP?
After resetting my max and restore TWRP backup (after previous installation of Dev. version of t6ul Sense 6), I found that the BUILD.PROP contained two CIDs inside, HTC__044 and HTC_039, where usually only HTC__044 before I installed the said custom rom.
I am not sure which part of current BUILD.PROP having this msg: "BUILD.PROP has unexpected contents" resulting in failure of updating to my region's Sense 6.
Anyway here I uploaded the said BUILD.PROP.

Hi farazhassankhan,
Thanks. When I restore my TWRP backup and paste this build.prop over the current one (and set the permission accordingly), will it adjust to my CID and related language automatically or should I manually add HTC__044 and change language code in there? Sorry as this might be a stupid question.
Modifying build.prop without sufficient knowledge is very prone to bricking device... which I am fully aware of. Hence, seeking advice from more experience user in this regard.

[Q] Can't return to stock ROM - please help

Hi,
I have a Hero (A6262) bought in australia (from australian retailer) and have successfully rooted/ran custom Roms previously.
I currently have Arman's bootloader installed and can easily switch between custom roms.
however, I simply want to revert back to the shipped rom (for warranty purposes) but every single original HTC RUU I have tried errors with "invalid custom ID". I've tried every single WWE stock RUU from the "[ROM] Official HTC Hero RUU ROM + Radio Links" list... but to no avail...
Could anyone have an idea of what I'm doing wrong, or to point me to the correct RUU please?
thanks for your time
found my issue - well I think i did ....
it now works after updating to the latest RA Recovery rom... all ID issues resovled.
weird ;-)
Hi, were you able to find an Australian RUU? my hero cannot get pass bootloader screen and it would be really great for me to have the Australian RUU.
thanks
I too need a stock AUSTRALIAN hero RUU or ROM. I don't care if its 1.5 or 2.1 just something completely stock and local.
Ok with a little more searching i fond this [ROM]RUU_Hero_hTC_Asia_AUS_3.39.710.1
I cant post links but search this and you should find it
About to try it.

[Q] Flashing RUU

Hi, I intend to flash my ruu on my rooted flyer which is wwe asia. I could not find any of the exact ruu for it, but lastly i found a very similar except for the release number. So my question is is it possible to flash a ruu with different release number? Sorry for my lousy english.

Firmware Question

I have a firmware question that I can't seem to find the answer to by searching. I am running arhd 11 on an att HTC one. Should I upgrade the firmware on my phone? Will there be any benefits to this since I am on att and not international? Also how do I go about updating the firmware and does it wipe the device? If I should upgrade, what it's the version I should download? Longtime Samsung user so please excuse the noobness.
If alls running well, then plz avoid ... however, in ARHD thread many AT&T users have updated the firmware without any side-effects
Best to post Q in that thread itself

It is currently not mandatory to flash the new firmware for ARHD, but it does provide a noticeable increase performance depending on the current firmware version you are running, I was running 1.26 on my AT&T m7 and the screen and touch buttons have been much more responsive now that I am running the new 2.24. Flashing the new firmware will also update the baseband, providing you with the latest radio (but performance of this will vary from region to region.
If you go to this link, it will give you some great instructions on the update process.

BTW, you will need to be s-off and change your cid to 11111111. As long as you take your time and follow the directions completely you will be fine. If you do update make sure you flash the firmware TWICE when it says to, and make sure you re-flash your custom recovery because it will get replaced during the updating process. This process will not delete your sd card and you will be able to run your current ARHD, but it is recommended to do a clean install after. And you might as well since 12.0 is out.
hope this helps
I'm getting a failed not allowed error when trying to 'fastboot flash zip'
I successfully have s-off and changed CID but can't get firmware to flash
Edit: not sure what happened but I was able to push the zip successfully. Maybe from adding the path of the file instead of just the zip file? Anyway, it worked.

IF the rom is tweaked right theres no real reason to update the firmware to euro build,Id wait till att variant or the dev variant gets the update and then worry about it.

[Q] Radio Update to 1.10

Hi Guys,
You are now my final hope!!!
I am trying for 3 days now to upgrade the radio version of my Desire V to 1.10 (Currently I'm running on1.06)
I have installed several ROM's an tried to run OTA updates, but none of them actually updated my radio to 1.10
Can someone provide me the zip file or a clear instructiuon on how to update my radio to 1.10?
I'm now running on the HTC_T328W_Asia-WWE_1.73.707.1_Stock ROM (found here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2343623 )
Radio is on 1.06.34D.05_20.22.30.23U
I'm looking for radio version 1.10.34D.17_20.26.30.27U
My girlfriends Desire V is actually running on this radio and exact the same kernel (1.73.707.1)
Using "getprop ro.cid" I get back HTCCN703 (China Version)

Ok, I have the same version. I was in same condition as you and it was needed of two OTA to get radio 1.10. It will be and a third update but that is for some chinese apps (11 of them) - don't bother.
Good luck!
Here is a thread with all official versions, RUU and ROM for this version of Desire V. It's chinese but numbers are readable.

Pfffffffff
This took some time and effort.
First I had to reload the Original China ROM
OTA updates were loaded, however, they did not install
Several other ROM's were loaded, but no succes at all
Then I locked the bootloader again en downloaded the correct RUU
Installed the RUU using the PC over the Original China ROM I installed myself
After this, the Phone installed several OTA updates
Finally my radio was updated to version 1.10
Then unlocked the bootloader again
installed the European ROM and all is runnig fine now
Thank you for the information!!!

If after installation of the original China ROM, you did flash stock recovery and boot, and lock the bootloader, than I can assure you the OTA will install. But if you have custom recovery and bootloader unlocked, OTA will be downloaded but not installed.
I know you solved this, but for the other readers who wants to do that I have to say it.

[REQUEST]Share your OTA ZIP

I'm looking to collect the following:
ZARA_UL KitKat OTAs - NEEDED MOST
ZARA_UL OTAs following the KitKat update
Any ZARA_CL variant other than Virgin Mobile US (if that even exists) They do exist!!
In the hopes of gaining hboot files to add to the collection of "no red text" modified hboots, which can be found here. If you have a ZARA_UL and haven't updated to KitKat yet, please copy your OTA zip before you run the update. These are most important because they actually have the new hboot in them. Any future OTAs might still include it, but I don't think they'll be guaranteed to.
Saving the OTA zip.
After your phone downloads the OTA you will get a popup asking to install now or later, select later.
The file will be located in a folder on your EXTERNAL SDCARD
Plug the phone into your PC and open the external storage of the phone
Find the file and copy it to your PC
Unplug your phone and tap the update notification to resume the update.
It's that simple to save it.
Sharing the OTA zip
Open the OTA zip that you copied to your PC
Extract the file "firmware.zip"
Upload the file firmware.zip to a storage provider such as Google Drive or DropBox
Alternately, you can simply upload the whole OTA zip if you like (It will take ~15 minutes to upload the KK OTA at 5Mbps)
Send me the link via PM or in a reply to this thread.
Collected so far
The following link to full OTAs if available, firmwares will be made into their own post.

Thanks.
Full ones are fine. It doesn't have to be just the firmware.zip, it just makes it easier for people since they'll only have to upload a ~35MB file vs a 600+MB file.
Is there a way to flash an KK OTA zip yet? Only curious in case I mess something up and there is no KK RUU yet. Thanks

Just PM'd you a link for the full OTA for Wind Mobile CA [GLOBALIVE]
