I don't think so.. EXE is windows specific extension as far as i know, and android is actually linux with advanced GUI.. Never-the-less there could be som kind of emulator, try googling something like "windows emulator for android"
EDIT: I've just done some googling, you can use Winulator (avai. On google play) or you can use your home PC with teamviewer for android (free) just like i do. Runs fine on my ZTE Blade III with qualcomm at 1ghz and adreno 200

Nope, or at least not that I know of.

lol, dual boot with Windows 7? on an ARM processor? I don't think so, not to mention limited RAM (512Mb)... Windows 8 may be possible but not in the near future, and even if it could, I think it will slow like hell on our Toshiba tablet
I no they managed it on the nook check this thread out
and then there is this one witch alows you to dual-boot with linux on our folio from a memory card
some one might be able to do something with these or give them some ideas on how to achieve this for us
Yes, ofcourse you can dual boot different version of Android or Android + Linux (Ubuntu), but not with Windows 7.... What he referred to was Windows 7....
i know windows had no hope and i wouldn't want it, i would like to duel-boot folionotion and foliocombe

Adobe Flash - Request again for P500!

I know, it was discussed many times before, but just i've seen a article on a german IT web page (www.golem.de) from today about the device "HTC Explorer".
The hardware seems to be identical to our P500, there is a 600Mhz Qualcomm processor and a 7227 chipset in the device - and the article says, there is flash
pre installed and is working.
What now? I dont understand what adobe is doing with this plugin.
Before it was written, the plugin doesnt can run on 600Mhz, some later they sayed
the plugin cant run on a low memory device or on devices with these chipsets.
Does it mean, we can install this plugin and can be happy with flash contents or
do missunderstand the problems???

What this is all about??? , be precise boy...
Coz, till now we DO have a 'working' flash version.....
i hope so
that htc explorer totally same spec with O1

I don't think it's the processor speed, but the processor type; I believe official Flash only runs on Arm7 and up, while the Optimus line is only equipped with an Arm6.

Despite the errors of your post, I understood the message you were trying to get across perfectly. Did I say it was impossible to run flash on the Optimus? I just said that the official version of Adobe Flash isn't supported on the line. The OP was asking if it was as simple as going to the Marketplace and installing the plugin. I said it wasn't.

Typing errors were intentionally.... i didnt saw the "official" part of your post, my bad
BTW, OP never mentioned abt installing flash through market AFAICT...
PS: Oh, this is my post n° 69
Not a problem lol. I'm not knowledgeable about the unofficial plugin, but are you just trying to watch flash videos or are you trying to play flash games on the Optimus? If it's just videos, you could try using a browser like Skyfire that converts flash videos on the fly.

the adobe flash player that works on our phone is version 10.1 (not the latest 10.3) to answer your question, i believe this plugin only affects the browser (it allows you to play in-browser flash games, watch flash videos, etc). other than that, this plugin will not affect any other part of the phone (for example you cannot use apps that require flash)
We have to wait again till someone gets hands on this HTC and grab its flash so devs cand make a stable full working one for our O1. HTC explorer was announced in Romania for about 200 euro, wich is about 50 euro more than O1 on aproximatively same specs (+ flash).

[Q] Windows 8 running on Gen8?

So, I was reading this article:
http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/articles/3...ptops and Tablets [VIDEOS]&utm_campaign=Array
And wondering if we could run Windows 8 on our gen8's. Although the official requirements for a tablet as stated here.. and their a bit too much for our poor device.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_8#Tablets_and_convertibles
Could we make it run?
No, and there will never be a way to do so.
The video shows a x86 Tablet, that has allready a normal windows running.
The ARM version of Winodws 8 ( called WinRT ) need alot more then the Gen8 can provide.

[Q] Run windows on android [Dual Boot]

So these days i was googling for a way to really install windows 8 on android tablets. I came over a video about a software called "changemysoftware". It seems it would make your devicea dual boot with windows 8 and android. What do you think? Is this fake?
Link:

But theres a video of someone installing it on their Android, it dual boots windows 8 and android, but windows 8 was laggy due to his dual core tab. There were 200+ likes and 20+ dislikes so, seems legit, he also uploaded the program onto ZippyShare so that you didn't have to do the survey, but when I tried it tells me the software is outdated and needs to be updated, so I cant do it unless I update it completing the survey...
You do know that it can still be faked right?
Give me half an hour and I'll show you how to install any OS on any device. All that was is a video of something on someone's PC screen.
Okay, I know this I am late for the talk but I think this is best for future questions. Just to be clear for other people who is confused with this scam.
The program is .NET framework based so I decompiled it with .NET Reflector. I got the source and trust me, there is no ADB related code. It is picture and text popping out. Also if you try to rename one of its .DLL file, it is the text "changemysoftware" spamming around to make hundreds kilobytes file. You might think I'm lying so you better see the source itself, download the attachment.
Note: Reflector failed to decompile it into Visual basic or C# so .IL file is only working. Try to find "ButtonX_Click" event in the Form1.il. Pictures and assets are in the .resources file.
fake images only
It's a fake. I just tried without connection any device. it showed as my device locked and have to contact them to unlock. to drag money....

Change my software is fake! But there are many ways to run windows on Android:
Can you install it with BOCHS, but it is Windows XP
Can you use TeamViewer but you need a PC
If you find 2 tablets with the same hardware but one with Android the other Windows one then it is not a problem this dual boot with just a some fix to the bootloader. Or if you collect all of the drivers from windows tablets and find Android tablet with hardware that has win drivers and then mod the windows rom...
Only phone I've ever seen that on was the old HTC HD2.
windows can run on android 100% full speed, i have try it. http://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone2/general/zf2-running-windows-7-using-kvm-t3153299/page29
can we really ??
what the oooooo is this i got to play some game or some thing to download it like ooooooossssss rely
I checked tha there is new version: http://changemysoftware.org
Is it still a scam ?
There is a survey on official site I can't complete that survey actually most of the survey can't completed
Thanks you the advise. I trusted it and downloaded the file. Haha

You can't do that, but may be ask a dev to build a Windows arm build may be?
Technically, yes.You can find arm64 windows rom on UUPdump.
But it does not works on any android so we need to develop.
First you need a rooted 64bit phone with twrp and unlocked bootloader.
Then wait for a dev to re-partition device to only /system ,/ recovery and /bootloader.
Then he needs to develop drivers for that device.
That dev also needs to debug a uefi bootloader and after bootting from usb and install windows, thats done.
But it still need a arch converter which is placed in windows installer that can convert X86 or AMD64 apps (.exe)(.msi)into ARM64 apps.
It is hard so no one(at least not me ) can do this and the device-adding speed will be extremely slow.
(You need to re-develop when the cpu is changed. So only the arch-convertor is usable when you are working on a different device.)
[This is the full process to building windows arm64 build ]
Please note that arm32 is not supported.

Windows 10 at Tab S3

Hello,
It is possible to run Windows 10 full version on our tablets?
https://youtu.be/A_GlGglbu1U
Theoretically there's no reason we shouldn't be able to since it appears to be running on a Snapdragon 820, meaning the drivers for the SoC exist and seem to be working. It would depend largely on how you go about obtaining it, and whether it works with the bootloaders/recoveries we have available.
Thank's
It would be nice to have a multiboot system windows and android. Need find sources and how to do right.
