Hey Guys, I found this from the Galaxy S3 thread linked below,

So I wanted to test this out in the new Omega Rom for Note and it worked perfectly. The transparent widgets fit the screen well and have no issues. So this should work on rooted stock roms as well.
I want to give my credits to kashortiexda for posting these. Files can be downloaded from the links below
Accuweather Transparent
FM Radio Transparent
Music Player Transparent
Instructions:
1, Download the required apk file and copy them to your sd card.
2, Use a root explorer tool and browse to the system/app folder. Mount the folder as r/w
3, Rename the apps, for ex., AccuweatherWidget.apk to AccuweatherWidget.apkbak
4, Copy Paste the transparent apk files to this folder and set permissions to rw -r -r. Reboot the phone
5, The widgets can now be used. Please make sure that these widgets are not there on the homescreens before replacing to avoid FCs.

Funny! Just today I was thinking how much I miss a transparent weather widget. With the WeatherWall wallpaper I really didn't need a superimposed image to spoil the effect.

Hi, as I mentioned, this was posted by another member on the S3 section. And I was curious enough to test all the transparent widgets on the Note 2. Unfortunately, the ones that worked were these 3. The SPlanner made no effect and clock packages kept force closing. I will keep testing to find a suitable one and will update my thread if i do get it. Cheers

Hey Guys, I see that some of you have the issue with funny letters showing up on the widget. I am using this on the Omega rom and till now havent faced the issue. So I am not sure what exactly causes this. I will play around with some weather settings and try to figure out what is causing this. Sorry.
Work fine here for those who have problems they have to delete or rename the AccuWeather Widets.odx file first

Still no solution in sight .....
This only works with ODEX room, every DEODEX room I've tried ran into this problem.

Small suggestion if you find good.
Can you just add whether mod supports odex/deodexed or both in listing?
If you have mentioned it is for deodexed then odex user doesn't waste time for it.
This is just suggestion, and only you can judge better.

all i did was port some of the theme to our systemui.apk
it looks like this and is FULLY COMPATIBLE with Nottachs mod.

Update! fixed battery icon with a new one that shows correct percentage it is a white circle battery to match the other white icons

I have to say thank u for all the hard work and the themeing looks great. But I dont know if its me or not but the battery level is not the same within the device its off by like 20%..I took a screen shot.

I noticed that earlier today I did not catch it yesterday because I had the battery icon turned off within the mod and I was only displaying the battery percentage from: display settings I will see what I can do when I get off work today

thats kinda hard to say, it depends what a person has going on wit the mod as far as a color scheme.. would it be hard to make a few differant colors in time? and if not then a multi color that changes when the power decreases..

and i could try , im working on bringing a "on the fly" battery mod that way we can have multiple battery icons and each user can choose their own from over 10 different ones within display settings!

Is there any disclaimer to doing this, like if I am running Nottach-Xposed or needing odex or de-oxed systems. Sorry, I don't fully understand all this but I don't want to have to go back to stock because I didn't ask. I love those icons though and would love to get this done.

You can run it with his mod and you should be deodexed if you're not just rename the systemui.odex Files to systemUi.odex.bak and push one of mine that you like
Oh ya you might want to back up your systemUI.apk "just in case" but you shouldn't have any problems bc they are the same besides mine is themed.

Has anyone tried installing this on a rooted ME7?
Would I be able to just extract the framework-res.apk in root explorer, replace the files with the ones in the update zip, then somehow re-zip/apk compress the file and replace the original? I have a sneeking suspicion that I'm missing something.

Im going to update the OP with a zip too.
I created a kit kat style MMS icon for the app and moved it to /system/app and am using it as my stand alone MMS.apk now. Got rid of TW secmms.apk.
The only issue I know of with this app is the contacts FC issue when you touch your own contact picture. This was an issue on the S4 before too...and it was fixed...athough I dont remember how someone fixed. it.
Ill make a SS flashable zip as well as instructions for making it your system app.
If I could get my decompile apk tools working again...Id theme the dark theme to something different than what it is now...because its bad. lol. Matter of opinion but I personally dont like it. I prefer the dark holo better.
stay tuned...working on it now.
