T-Mobile and VoLTE - Xperia Z2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Does z2 supports VoLTE on T-Mobile USA

I think its model spesific
I have a Europe Generic device where it suports all global 2/3/4G networks
If you get a generic device you shouldent have any issues

I heard some issues about this with lots of people (usa n tmobile)
You have to call tmobile and they will sort your issue

ims registration wont work, they need some custom software for that wifi calling.

where did you bought it? in the tmobile?
I live and work in Germany, and the phone has worked perfectly here as well as every other country I've driven/flown into so far. The GSM technology that's used here is the same technology that's used in the states. Just waiting for 4G!
Stock vibrant on ji5 here and it didn't work well in japan when I was there. Didn't pick up any of the carriers and gps didn't work at all. Gps works here though

is it in japan only that's not working? i'll be going in the philippines and i'll be using a sim card there.

T-Mobile

Will this phone work on T-Mobile with full functionality?
Yep any version will work with high speed data. It has the 1700 band

Yes
Sent from my C6806 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Yes it will work fine...I have a 6806 on tmo, the only thing you will need to do is set the APN's so you can send and receive picture messages. Other than that the phone works great on LTE.
Works great for me as well. I bought the one sans-LTE though.

[Q] Can't Make or Receive Calls on AT&T Galaxy Mega i527 after UNLOCKING

Hi all, I am at my wits end with this.
I have an unlocked, rooted Galaxy Mega i527. Everything works fine . I have 4G LTE data on both Tmobile and AT&T sim but i cannot make or receive calls via the native phone dialer.
The only way i use the phone now is with a 3rd party voip/google voice app. Calling via google voice directly without the 3rd party app does not work.
I do not know what is wrong and i will really appreciate any help that you guys can render.
Merry Xmas
I have also re-flashed the stock rom found on this thread via Odin:
