[MOD][Xposed][Sense6][Feb 18] Stock battery with percentage [4.x - 6.0] - Xposed Framework Modules

A very simple mod I threw together to replace the stock Sense 6 battery images with ones that have a numeric percentage embedded. This module will most likely only work on HTC devices running Sense 6 (m7, m8, etc), but might work on older devices running Sense 5/5.5 as HTC hasn't changed their battery image resource names in a while.

v1.4.1
Install steps:
Make sure you have the latest Xposed Framework installed (ARHD offers it in the AROMA installer).
Make sure you enable the app_process from within Xposed Installer and reboot
Install attached apk, just like you would any other apk
Enable module in Xposed Installer and either reboot, or restart the shell (adb shell 'stop;start' or Soft reboot)
Enjoy
If you'd rather customize (or have the ability to) the entire statusbar, check out my other module here.
For those running XSBM, I've put together an iconpack with this battery set here.
Also available in the Xposed Repo
Thanks to @jsmith8858 for the excellent BatteryIconMaker tool. It makes generating images so much easier/faster!
Changelog
1.1
Increased percent numbers to 22pt, removed bold to enhance readability
1.2
Added gray fill to battery background to make numbers more visible on light and dark backgrounds
1.3
Increased font size to 27pt, and all numbers are black. Should be very visible now on all backgrounds except pure white.
1.4
Battery icons provided by @brianhill1980 - numbers are outlined with transparent background
1.4.1
Now with larger numbers and more defined outline
1.5.0 - Only for LP roms!
First release with LP support. Follow install instructions below!
Install instructions for 1.5.0 on Lollipop roms (tested on MaximusHD 50):
Remove any prior installs of Sense 6 Battery Percent
Make sure you have a working install of Xposed Framework (XposedBridge v61) and Xposed Installer v3.0 Alpha 1. If you have not figured out how to do this, please see the official Xposed for Lollipop thread
Install the Sense6BatteryPercent_v1.5.0.apk, but do not reboot yet
Once the notification of a new module has shown up, go to Xposed Installer->Modules and enable Sense 6 Battery Percent
Tap on the Sense 6 Battery Percent list entry to open the "preferences" activity. There aren't actually any preferences, but I'm using that activity to unpack the images
Tap on the Unpack and Hide Launcher button, which will unpack the battery images and hide this specific launcher
Go back to Xposed Installer->Framework and either pick Soft Reboot or Reboot
I had issues forwarding resources from my module's assets, so I worked around it by creating a scaled-down version of XSBM for just the battery images in this module. It seems to work ok, but definitely not the cleanest approach. If/when this gets resolved in the framework (or I figure out how to do it correctly), I'll rewrite this module. Also, I tested the module with SElinux both enforcing and permissive, and it seems to function regardless.

Hi is it possible to make the percentage size a bit bigger as i find it quite small and difficult to make out what it says?

Don't have the time to hand-edit 100+ images to change the font size. I use the BatteryIconMaker utility to do the numbers and battery background generation, and then combine them with ImageMagick scripts. It takes a few minutes this way, instead of hours/days the other way.

New version on OP has larger (and easier to read) numbers now.

Hey op thank you for this mod. I thought I was never gonna get to have percent stock battery on stock rom lol...also thanks for the update enlarging percentage. Anyway you could change the percent color to something besides black? Maybe grey. Reason is once any app is launched and battery is below certain percent and status bar is no longer transparent you can only see one of the two digits if that makes any sense lol. Made much better sense in my head

Hmm, that is a problem. I'll play around with the colors and see if I can come up with something that looks ok on both light and dark backgrounds.

Updated version on OP. Let me know if that helps with number visibility.

Bro thanks a lot but the text is too smallà if bigger then would be very nice! Also inverted batt would be good too!

Still too small? How high should the numbers be on the inside of the battery outline? Should they extend past the fill bar and into the gap?

Last attempt for the day at making the numbers more legible. OP updated.

Last version is perfection

This is exactly what I was looking for. Just putting percentage numbers inside the stock battery.
Any chance you could just make the numbers an alpha knockout with a white outline instead of solid black? Solid black looks so harsh compared to the rest of the Sense 6 statusbar icon theme.
Here's a quick Photoshop sample of what I mean:

Not unless someone can provide me with all the battery images that are premade with the alpha knockout. I use the BatteryIconMaker utility to generate the numbers and background fill. It can't do what you're asking though.

[MetaMorph Theme] AllBlack v1.2

FOR SAMSUNG VIBRANT (SGH-T959)
USE WITH OTHER GALAXY S MODELS AT YOUR OWN RISK!
CURRENTLY TWO VERSIONS. 1.1 IS FOR JFD-BASED FIRMWARE WHILE 1.2 IS FOR JI6-BASED FIRMWARE. MAKE SURE YOU USE THE CORRECT VERSION!
UPDATE
This update is to make this theme compatible with the new JI6 firmware and ROMs based on it (such as Bionix 1.6 and above). There are no changes or additions to how the theme looks as of yet. It should appear identical to version 1.1 running on JFD-based firmware. Also, I have decided to remove the black-to-stock reversion theme as it seems to be causing more problems than it is solving due to compatibility issues with other firmware and other Galaxy S models. If you wish to return to stock, please either restore a NAND backup or use/create a stock TouchWIZ MetaMorph theme that is designed to work with your current firmware on your device.
AllBlack v1.2
This theme gives your notification bar and pull-down notification menu a sleek, minimalistic flat black look. Not only does this theme give your Galaxy S phone a clean dark look, but it also helps you save on precious battery power since black areas of the screen require zero power due to the active matrix nature of Samsung's Super AMOLED display.
I have made two versions available, one with my own custom notification icons (the same ones included in my ClearBar theme), and one without any notification icons so you can keep the same icons you have already been using.
This is a MetaMorph theme, so you will need to install MetaMorph from the Market and use it to apply this theme.
MAKE A NANDROID BACKUP BEFORE APPLYING THIS THEME!
ClockworkMod Recovery is available for Galaxy S phones through the ROM Manager which is available in the Market. If you have not already, please install ROM Manager in order to flash ClockworkMod Recovery (completely safe) and create a nandroid backup before applying this theme. I am not responsible for any issues this theme causes. It works perfectly fine on my Vibrant, but no two phones are alike so your experience my differ.
Be sure to turn USB Debugging on before applying. For some reason, having debugging disabled causes MetaMorph to hang when applying the theme.
Feel free modify or incorporate this theme in part or whole in your own projects. I only ask that you give me some credit if you redistribute my work.

applied both versions of this theme, however the dropdown notification background stayed the same default color (light greyish) both times and after a reboot. any ideas?
This is incredible.. black is my favorite color and I LOVE this theme. Only thing I would change is use the arrow with a line under it for downloads isntead of that box. Freaking awesome. Thanks tricorder!
Had to revert the "Droid in dropdown" theme for it to apply fully, where as when I applied on top of it only themed the top notification bar.

applied only changed the bar not the pull down but still looks good
edit: a 2 reboots got it to show nice work just what i was looking for
i was just going to say the same thing. rebooted, reapplied, rebooted and then it started soft-rebooting itself 5 or 6x. Finally it let me back to the homescreen and everything seems to be ok.
It worked perfect fine for me coming off your Clearbar notification theme...
Sent from my Ungodly sleek, stylish, powerful, and sexy Vibrant...It reminds me of myself
I was having the same problem everyone else is having with getting the pull-down notification list to change properly when I was making this and testing it out. The best solution I found for when this happens is to go back into MetaMorph, only apply twframwork-res.apk from this theme, and then reboot. I don't know what causes this, and didn't have the same problem when I was making ClearBar.

I'm actually pretty fond of my animated downloads icon. I really like the whole "arrows of data going down into the phone" effect that I made. If you don't like it, you're perfectly free to use different icons or make your own. Just open up the zip file and navigate to framework-res/res/drawable-hdpi and replace the icons you want to change. No resigning or anything like that is required for this to work in MetaMorph.
No dissin tricorder lol.. you made my phone awesome. Thanks...

White stuff?
can we get a theme with white for the notifications text? I want brilliant white instead of dim colors... not hatin or anything!!!
i don't know if anyone else is having troubles but when i do this is messes up my market to the point i cannot access it. Any ideas?

Use hxd. Search for 0800001C and then edit the following 8 digits (BGRA).
Here's a good guide to get you started: http://www.jbthemes.com/AndroidThemeingGuide/The Ultimate Android Themeing Guide.pdf
Or you could just yank it out of my theme if you're short on time

Tricorder, look for AXMLPrinter2.jar on the forums. It can convert binary xml to text xml.
tried to revert back to stock...it just hung on the 'applying' screen forever. rebooted, tried again, etc. let it run on 'applying' for 2 hours before giving up. stuck with the allblack theme now and although i'm not sure (haven't been able to isolate it) i think it is causing some lag issues. but this may be unrelated.

I really don't see how it could be causing lag. All it does is change some png files.
Also, double-check to make sure you still have usb debugging enabled. That seems to be the primary cause for MetaMorph hanging when applying themes. I've used my black-to-stock theme to revert a few times with no problems, although it doesn't always seem to apply the stock images from twframework-res on the first try, but the second try and a reboot always seems to work.
I'm working on a new release of this. I've eliminated the white background for the music controls in the pull-down notification menu and started changing some of the text to white to show up better. Does anyone have any suggestions for some other changes?

Themey like stuff for BlaY0's ROM

Most, if not all, of these are for b-0.2
Huge thanks to FeaRThiS for offering to host these modifications.
---
BlaY0's ROM has really taken off, and a number of people made some modifications for it. While full re-cooks of the ROM should be left in the dev section, themes and visual stuff should be put here (thanks denisman). With that in mind I made this thread. Any themes, however minor, could be posted here. Now, not all of us have access to a server. FeaRThiS has kindly offered us his, so if you have a MOD you want here then feel free to PM me with a link (or email me with an attachment, I use gmail so I'm sure you can guess my address), and I'll shove it on this server and put it on the first post. Requests are welcome, but don't expect all to be made. I'll try to keep this post up to date with all the latest themes that people make for BlaY0's ROM

From the other thread:
Does anyone know if it's possible to apply such animations to screen rotations? Like how iPhones have a nice rotate effect when you rotate orientation, you see the screen rotate smoothly instead of just jump into place.
And I think these would be a nice addition to the rom:
Smooth Sense Icons: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=733682
would someone be able to port these to this ROM? They're in HDPI in that thread (for Desire), shouldn't be too hard to resize.
that smooth battery icon is even nicer than stock
What do you think?
@Snowtoad23: Maybe you could do the editing and upload the pics somewhere...I'd take a shot on incorporating them ;-)

thanks a lot , really!!!!!!
can i ask how do i/we make mods like nav bar or lockscreen or stuff like these
i am ok at graphic but really an idiot at those techniques. any place to learn?
I actually suck at graphics Just obtained 3D max to create the lockscreen.
What you need is to extract the png's from framework-res.apk or in this case com.htc.resources.apk...Those are just signed zips.
Now in those zips in \res\drawable-mdpi\ you'll find three png's:
lockscreen_arc.png
lockscreen_arcglass_bottom.png
lockscreen_arcglass_top.9.png
As I can't edit .9.png's (those are different files than png's, don't ask me why )
I wanted to edit just the first png - i like the shape, it just doesn't correspond with the navbar.
If you can edit it, here it is:
I'll try and have a crack at those smooth sense icons later on. Emphasis on try, I'm no themer/graphic designer
I already looked into it, the problem is that desire has a slightly different color of the statbar - we would actually have to re-create those icons not to mention those scripts...I already tried to create just one icon with my actual battery percentage just to see the result and it is very difficult to make those numbers in battery readable.
Other rhing I've noticed is that the original circle mod from BlaY0's ROM is in fact HDPI, but when I replaced those png's with those from desire, there was no icon at all...
I'd really need a better understanding how Android works
OK, here goes Cryshop's lockscreen + navbar: navbar+lock_B0.2-signed.zip
(TGF would you add that to the 1st post? )
As for the other lockscreen, I'll need some time to learn myself in 3ds max to make one

Another possible lockscreen project.. How about the old Eclair lockscreen where you can set a different background picture for it and it has the cool effect where it drags down smoothly to reveal what is behind, instead of the current Froyo one where it just fades away.
Would it work just by copying the HTClockscreen.apk from an old Eclair Sense ROM to this, or not because of all the things that link to it e.g. messages, dialer, calendar, alarms, everything, and if they've been changed in Froyo...
It would most probably not work because of the different framework in Froyo, but you can give it a try
Dr.Romca said:

Yeh and I think they changed it because the new lockscreen works with live wallpaper.. I don't see the old one working with live wallpapers and being able to freely slide up and down.
What do I need to do/edit to get text showing in the locations shown on attached image?
As far as I know, both are 9.png's, so if you need to add a permanent text, you can edit those images inside system/framework/framework-res.apk /res/drawable-mdpi (I don't know how to edit .9.png's)
But for system statuses etc. you would have to change scripts in framework-res.apk, andI can't do that either....

*Ultimate Online Theme Kitchen* Not my site, only a recommendation

READ THIS !!!!!!!
Ultimate Online Theme Kitchen works for ATRIX, with the following understanding:
Kitchen originally was build for HTC Desire, but now it supports most devices with Android OS.
Kitchen takes files from your rom (such as framework-res.apk) and adds modifications you choose.
It works for most custom deodexed roms: Froyo (2.2) and Gingerbead (2.3).
Do not use kitchen with stock odexed roms (if you have .odex files in your rom - kitchen is not for you)

It took a lot of effort and time from us to make this kitchen and it takes a lot more to maintain it .Users should realise this and appreciate the work done.
Bugs and errors (except decompiling error) will be tried to solve but we need the code you receive back when you upload your file. backups of the same will be kept for 12 hours. so if you have an error respond within that time
We are not responsible for any damage that occurs to your device by the use of the themes created here though if such an unfortunate event occurs do tell us we'll be happy to help

Ive been using this to rip icons from. you can use the battery icons if you change the names of a few inside the drawable-hdpi folder. its set up for 100 image for the charge animation but the atrix only uses the first six. so you have to change the names of 20, 40, 60, 80, and 100 to 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. 0 is already correctly named.
Its funny I just pmed you about this lol This seriously is one bad ass thing to do with your phone! I love it! Just for the cool battery mods alone! You know how many people in the forum were trying to figure out how to get a percentage up there?? Alot! This does that and alot more! I've got a cool little android dude as my battery status icon now!!

Yes you can I did! Just make sure you use the status 0 fix if you have any problems. Its found over on the UOT site

"Only thing I have found is you can't use custom battery icons. Everything else works great."
@Dicksteele You might wanna correct that one statement? as long as you click the generate preview button with the custom battery icon you choose. it does work! If you dont generate the preview then it will be in the red. I have one working on my atrix right now.
I'm very interested in this, but want to see what people have done with their Atrix so far.... post some screen shots of your ATRIX (I've seen the ones for the Desire already from the link)!
heres what ive pieced together so far. renamed the charging icons like i said earlier so they display correctly.

So basically the Atrix still won't be able to use the battery mod to do 1% battery indication on the right side of the notification bar, just in the increments you listed? This isn't worth the exclamation given out here if it isn't anything more than putting a simple percentage in the notification bar, we want 1% data on the right side!
I know you weren't the one to think this is the greatest thing since sliced bread, but man, I read too far into this and thought I would be able to get real battery stats from this.... oh well, still have to wait for the bootloader to be unlocked in able to do it I guess.....

Too cool !! I'll give it a shot. Just created another one. I'll try with custom battery next shot. Site is running kinda slow today.
And I second the post that it'll work over GladAtrix. Just did it also.
Custom battery mod
I don't think I suggested that I had solved the holy grail of 1% increments.
If so, I apologize. Personally I have more important things to worry about in my life that what percentage my battery is at down to the nat's ass. If I'm at 80% still after 17 hrs, I'm good.
Very cool, gonna give this a try in a bit, if all goes well...I think i might be using it often...great find! Thanks!

LOL nats ass! Alright so maybe I may have made a post in the battery mod thread about how this is better then all the others! LOL How was I to know it skipped a few or 10 numbers in between when the battery is decreasing Its still cool and will interest others. Who are not worried about "nats asses" so to speak like GarciaM25!
On a serious note: so when the battery indicator drops from 100 to 90 is that actually a 1 percent decrease or did it really lose 10 percent of the battery? Cause if so I lost 10 percent in about 10-15 minutes!!
well, you might have just went from 95% to 94.9%.. thats the problem with the 10% increments, you just never know
Works Great!
I can also confirm that this works pretty good...there is only a slight issue, the date shown in the notification header interferes with my custom header text...does anyone know how to remove the date completely or at least edit it to display in another color?
Otherwise, great find once again! I'm really liking the windows animation, transitions are smooth!
Edit:
I think the OP should make it clear that "edify scripting" does not work at the moment with the current version of Tenfar's CWM Recovery..."amend scripting" does work however.
I've used jrummys root tools and another app called anim mod to change transitions and other small things so i guess what I'm wondering is there a way to get a black status bar on a bell atrix... and if there is adb involved is it Macintosh compatible. Until now I've hid the ugly thing.. its the only thing I'm not happy with on this phone.
Sent from my Xoom using XDA App
It seems the only requirent for this to work is to be rooted and deodexed...of course you must have tenfar's cwm recovery installed also, there's no adb involved if you use cwm...should work fine on a bell atrix...

TGF's theme-patch-mod thing-a-ma-doo (update: 10th Oct)

I am not responible for what YOU do to YOUR phone!
This is ONLY for CM7.1 Stable. Any other version will probably not work, and if you try you'll get no support from me
What this is
A patched SystemUI.apk and framework-res.apk in flashable zip format
Features:
Status bar allows transparency in themes that support it (check out Meizu - it's the theme I'm using in the screenshots, all credit to ZduneX25)
Clock in status bar is centred
Date in status bar is centred
Blur behind power menu is removed (this makes it slightly faster)
Lockscreen padding removed, everything is a little higher up
Tablet Tweaks are enabled
Semi-transparent background to lockscreen music controls
And that's it (I think)
Enjoy! And if people like this I'll update every now and again
Notes:
I still haven't got the hang of signing things yet, so you'll need to use CWM to flash
You do NOT need to deodex your ROM. I repeat, absolutely NO deodexing is needed.
Good question from maxq1 regarding deodexed version of these nightlies: yes, these DO work on deodexed versions

============
Changelog:
1st Sept: initial release
11th Sept: fixed clock being in the way, re-aligned clock in lense lockscreen
19th Sept: updated for nightly 195, enabled tablet tweaks (in theory, the settings aren't showing for me right now, I'll look into it)
19th Sept: r2 should actually make the status bar transparent this time. *looks meek*
19th Sept: r3 fixes the issues with tablet tweaks.
10th Oct: Updated for CM7.1 Stable, feature list has changed a little. BG added to lockscreen music controls, the lockscreen text is no longer resized.
Niiiice. Will have to definitely try this once I come home from vacation and move from Sense > stock.
Alright, that clock is pretty annoying. I don't want to turn it off, otherwise I lose my source of time. But every time I get a notification with a really long message, say a text, or some tweets, it overlaps the clock and the content in the middle is pretty much unreadable.
As for the transparent status bar, I do have one issue. This is my first time using a transparent status bar enabled ROM (I think that's right), and every time I pull it down, a bar of black also gets pulled down behind the status bar itself, showing transparency to...nothing. Dunno if that's supposed to happen.
First screenshot shows both issues, second shows the second issue when the notification bar is partially down.
Oooh, forgot to update here Sorry.
I've worked out solutions to the clock thing (and a few other issues besides). The background behind the status bar is gonna be like that, nothing I can do to change it. I'll upload a fix when I have time (I literally only have 5 mins now), so check back in about 24 hours (ages, I know, but I really don't have time for anything today)

My convenience however...
Joking, take your time. Sort out whatever's up first.

Update
Ok, the clock should be fixed, and I aligned the clock in the lense lockscreen correctly (moving the rotary lockscreen down screwed things up a little)
Download's in the OP
It definitely works great with Moto theme (I applied it last night). Thank you so much!

er..what if i'm already on a deodex'd rom? will this still work? if not, & if you could be so kind, what part of framework.res was modified? TIA...

It'll work on a deodexed ROM too
I was thinking of updating this for the latest nightly, but I've changed my mind about the centred clock. I much prefer having the signal icons in the centre, like this:
Do people like that? Shall I make a version with the same features as before as well?
I think I'd prefer the centered clock.. I'm used to it now xD
Updated, there're still a few kinks to work out though. I'll get to them in the next few hours, stay tuned
If the status bar still won't go transparent then use ADB or Root Explorer to delete /system/app/SystemUI.odex
EDIT:
Check the OP, r3 is live
do you know how to get this mods on the new sense rom?
i've tried the patcher a few weeks ago but it didn't do anything..
Send me the framework-res.apk and SystemUI.apk and I'll take a look. I do all my edits manually, because it's easier. If the ROM is odexed I won't be able to enable transparency in the status bar though
i'm currently using rc4 and i hope i took the right ones lol
dont you need the com.htc.resources.apk?
if you get it working it would be nice to write a short howto, that i could do it the next time by myself

Sure thing. And yes, I forgot about the com.htc.resources.apk. Can I have that too pl0x It's been a long time since I last modded a Sense ROM.
What exactly do you want doing? Some of the features mentioned in the OP won't work here
transparent statusbar (like this would be great http://zdune.mod2xtreme.com/images/sneak_t.png ) and centred date&clock.
com.htc.resources.apk
got 2 times error while uploading here on xda...

The code I know for getting the status bar transparent seems to be non-existant in Sense ROMs, so my only guess is switching the .9.pngs out and seeing what happens. Open up ZDune's theme, I'm sure you'll work out how the naming works Here's a SystemUI with the clock and date centred

Thanks for that, i'll try later. ([email protected] )
Edit: i have the clock now 2 times in the status bar, once in the middle and once on the right...
It seems it doesn't work for me. What I do:
1. Reboot in CWM (5.x), wipe cache
2. Flash nightly 195 (no wipe before)
3. Flash this mod
4. Flash SDcard speed, Data2Ext4, and 130 LCD density zips
5. Reboot
After these steps I have no status bar at all. I'm not using Meizu since I couldn't get it installed (it says "Instalation aborted" when trying to flash it), I'm using Rover Cyan theme.
Is there anything else I should do to have it installed?

[Substratum] No Red in OnePlus Clock - Remove the red 1 from clocks

No Red in OnePlus Clock

Exactly as it says, and nothing more. This is a Substratum Theme I quickly brewed together to get rid of that awful red 1 digit that appears in most digital clocks in OxygenOS 11. The following clocks have been altered:
Expanded Quick Settings Clock
Lock Screen Clock
AOD Default Clock
AOD Digital 1 Clock
AOD Digital 2 Clock
I have only tested it on my OnePlus 8 Pro, but it should work on any device running OxygenOS 11, as the only thing it does is edit three color strings. You need Root and Substratum to use it.
Dev deserves a f'n medal for this. Annoys the hell out of me that red one.
Thank you!
Finally!
Best module ever for OnePlus
Tested on OnePlus 8T running 11.0.7.10,
working perfectly, thank you!
Updated theme to 2.1 to fix an incompatibility with the Light Mode, which would cause the 1 to become white-on-white in the Expanded Quick Settings Clock. Now it will properly be black-on-white, like the rest of the numbers in the Expanded Quick Settings Clock.

Hey,
I just noticed on my 8T that the color of the rest of the digits of the clock is not a full solid white (like the "themed 1"), but it has slight transparency applied (you can also notice in the AOD that is more towards a very light grey than white, which is also more readable)
Maybe it's a bit of perfectionism and I'm asking too much, but would it be possible to have the "1" of the same color like the rest of the digits?
Thanks again for the great mod!!

Hmm, good point. Didn't even notice that, despite the fact that my screenshot shows off that discrepancy. Interestingly, when it applies the red coloring it does make the 1 fully opaque. So, bottom line, I need to find what transparency value the rest of the numbers are using, and alter these color strings to match.
Updated to version 2.2 to fix the transparency discrepancy in the 1.
Well it didn't work for me on rooted tmobile oos 11, oh well

I actually have an opposite problem. "1" is too opaque.

Hmm, that's odd. Those numbers are perfectly opaque. What model of phone are you using? I wonder if this differs depending on the model.

Sorry I took me a while to repond. I've actually managed to create my own substratum theme apk to "fix" it on my device, based on your research, of course.
It looks good on my screen when "op_control_accent_color_red_dark" and "op_control_accent_color_red_light" have no transparency.
If you come up with some solution I'm more then happy to test it on my device.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you.
As someone who is colourblind and cannot see red against black, I am incredibly grateful for this. I haven't felt the need to root a phone in years until I bought a oneplus last week and couldn't see what time it was.
What a pathetic gimmick it is to colour every 1 red.
Thank you for sharing your solution. Much appreciated!

Based on the assumption that different devices have different opacity values, I tried to make the theme relative pointers to the color definitions the text normally uses. This caused systemui to crash though, so perhaps I am doing something wrong there. If I am stuck absolute color definitions, I may be forced to just make different versions for different devices.
Its there a option how to remove the entire clock on lock screen ?
On custom Rom
Hi @MehStrongBadMeh ;
Without expecting anything: is it possible to associate the selected system font to the clock?
Let me explain: the watch always uses the OnePlus Sans.
If I select Roboto, the watch will not be in Roboto but in OnePlus Sans.
If I install the Magisk module to use Google's Product Sans (which replaces Roboto), guess what, the watch will use OnePlus Sans.
Sorry but this font difference is triggering my OCD, terribly.
(I currently use the OnePlus Sans which is used in all apps except Google's. Play Store, Keep, etc, use Product Sans, I wish I could use Product Sans to smooth out this difference because only the clock remains always in OnePlus Sans)
Thanks for your time, your work and any responses.

It is almost certainly possible, likely by finding and modifying the layout xml for the lockscreen clock to explicitly point to the OnePlus. That being said, making such a mod to do that is not something I am interested in doing, so I would have to recommend pulling systemui off your device and poking around to find the file that needs to be modified via substratum.
Hey uhm, im not really a substratum user, am i just supposed to install your apk and then enable in the substratum manager? what is needed after that? is a simple systemui restart enough?
because it sadly doesn't work for me lol
if i get it to work you are a real life saver dude
edit: btw my phone is a Oneplus Nord and im running OxygenOS 11.1.1.2 AC01BA
just tell me what infos i need to provide, would be very cool if we get it to work
Thanks for this mod, it works great and it's such a relief to not have to endure that horrible red 1 any more. I've noticed a bug in the quick settings clock though. It still displays a second red 1 as shown here.
which phone and exact OS version do you have?
