[ROM][JB]SIRIUS_v3 -STABLE _Fast n Smooth Z2 experience- for Xperia P - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

Hello friends,
It took me almost a month to finish this ROM. I tested almost everything available to our device from great devs and took out the best and bug-free things to cook this ROM. I own this device,so I knows what it require and sure that, this ROM will be smooth,fast and maintain a balance b/w performance and battery.Sirius ROM delivers the true power of Z2 to our device.Give it a try n feel the power, it costs u nothing :good:

Unlocked Bootloader
Flash latest stock SONY 6.2.A.1.100 firmware,let it boot.
Flash Custom kernel (Nemesis-recommended)
~After fastboot kernel,flash the same kernel zip via CWM for compete installation. ,let it boot.
Boot into CWM
Wipe Data/Factory reset
Flash the rom.
Let it settle for 5 minutes.
Reboot again to enable other tweaks
Enjoy the ROM
Locked Bootloader
Root and install CWM
Download a stockbased Jellybean kernel and flash it.
Boot into cwm recovery
Wipe Data/Factory reset
Flash the rom and Reboot.
Let it settle for 5 minutes.
Reboot to enable other tweaks :good:
For stock kernel users,just install cwm,flash the rom and reboot to enable other tweaks.
INFO/TIP/For better BATTERY​
At first start up..let it settle for about 5 minutes (leave the phone working).
If Z2 camera addons not working, clear camera common in Settings >> Apps >> All. Most probably it will work without clearing.
To enable USB Connection : Go to Settings>Storage>Menu button>USB Computer Connection>Media device(MTP)>tick MTP.
## Do not use any task killers Android analyse the use of apps by u and keeps them in RAM so that the next time you open, it loads faster. Task killers clears them and slows down by preventing android from taking app log.
##Screen drains the battery more.Set brightness to minimum.Untick Auto-Brightness
##Use some battery calibration app to find,which app drains battery more.
~~Enable stamina mode,use a Static Wallpaper and not a Live Wallpaper.
~~Set sleep time less than 1 minute (30 seconds recommended) and disable autorotate as it uses G-Sensor.
~~Use only those widgets that donot refresh everytime.
~~Auto-Sync also consumes battery by constantly checking data. Turn it off.
~~Calibrate battery using apps.

For battery use smartassv2,interactivex
For performance use lionheart,hotplugx
For balance,use wheatley,wheatleyplus,pegasusq.
You can play with govnrs n I/Os no prob n find out which one suits your device better. :fingers-crossed:
I recommend wheatleyplus n sio combo. Set CPU freq to 1.1Ghz so that it will complete tasks quicker and go to deep sleep mode.

If you get status7 error: Solution : Boot into CWM. Then tap install zip from sdcard> toggle signature verification. Then u will get this on screen " Signature check : Disabled" . After that flash the ROM zip. For some people, signature check was enabled n get that status7 error
Fresh install recommended, do not update any version over v1.

From the screenshots it looks like this ROM is not based KitKat but 6.2.A.1.100 firmware as the kernel is nemesis kernel and not a KitKat kernel. The android version in the settings can be changed in build.prop

yep.. forgot to mention that.. I changed it in build.prop just to feel Z2. You can also change the easter egg to kitkat.. :good: It is already there.in OP.. JB based.

Good heavens your ROM data is ultra misleading. In the ROM version it says it is 4.4.x when it actually is 4.1.2. Also please put a big [JB] in your thread title, newer users may be fooled by this ROM.

which nemesis version do you recommend?/ cuz i know for sure 6.2 and 6.3 had issues.
and.. are you sure the dialer lag has been addressed? it is the only true reason why anyone would move from stock rom.. that is the only problem the stock rom had.. the dialer lag

Dialer lag is causes by some third party apps, we as dev already work hard to reduce the lag...so, nothing to do so ?

This rom is stock based. Now I checked..1second lag..not a problem. :good: I don't experience any much lag..
I recommend nemesis kernel revised v6.3.. (hotplugx+noop). @Xperia_Fans thanks bro. Ya..it is sony's fault.

You mean swiping power toggles..? Pull down the notification bar and swipe from left..there u get toggles.. :good:
Timeshift video comes without timeshift effect ..don't takes photos..give FC.
Creative Effect takes photos but don't record video.
4K Video gives FC
Socialive take pictures perfectly but don't record.

This UI include both quick setting toggles and swiping power toggles(around 24 toggles). One can enable or disable swiping power toggles from setings> personalisation. U can see it in the screenshots bro..

yeah it deffinitely is sony's fault, but that is the reason to move away from stock in the first place
i will try it now.. lets see how much improvement there is in the dialer, btw.. there are no funny UI FCs with the use of power toggles right? i hope not..
