I pre-ordered with 1 day shipping, the extra $8 was worth it to me.
I still much prefer the Moto 360, but I figure since the release likely won't be for another month or more, I'll just hold on to the G Watch until the Moto 360, HTC, and Asus watches are all released this fall.
I did and also did next day shipping but since next day is July 4 a holiday Google is refunding my shipping

I didn't see an option for next day delivery ( I'm from the UK ) but when I ordered my nexus 4 it came within the next 2-3 days so I'm pretty happy

I called them
I hoping it will ship before the 3rd. Not on the 3rd. I'll risk $8 on it.
I ordered one. I was going to wait until the 360 launched but I decided I needed an Android Wear device ASAP. . I'm really excited.
I went with standard shipping as it expedited shipping wasn't worth it with the long weekend.

Although, if it being shipped Friday, It will be dispatched by Parcel Force so might potentially come on the Saturday, but should definitely be in my hands by Tuesday
I order a pack g3 with free g watch at darty France but I don't know if I will keep it or sell it. In fact I don't see what it does. Is it the perfect companion for a smartphone or just an useless gadget?

Definitely a perfect companion. I have a smartwatch 2 at the moment and although it isn't as great as an android wear device it is by far not a useless gadget.
Will preorder a g watch as well although I wanted to wait for a 360 but I don't think I am able to resist (EDIT: Coudn't resist, preordered one)

I also ordered on day one and keep checking my email hoping they ship it out early. Been waiting for this every since the announcement. Actually liked the look of the samsung a little better, plus it was cheaper and had the heart rate sensor which sounded like a cool feature. So I debated canceling to switch to that but decided to stick with the LG. Did I make the right choice?
I ordered one on day 1 and got next day shipping. I'm in the US and am concerned about the whole July 4th thing. Really disappointed actually. I'm hoping that it'll arrive Saturday. Crossing my fingers. Even so, Monday wouldn't be THAT horrible... Lol. I'm REALLY hoping we'll have development for the device. I'd love to see more apps run on it. Like YouTube, Twitter, and a whole lot more!

If you read the writing carefully it actually reads -
"Dispatched from warehouse by 4 July."
To me that means it may be dispatched before the 4th, but the 4th will be the latest time it will be dispatched.

Annoying when the site still says it should be delivered today. Took me 45 mins to order it and then it isn't even going to arrive this week, what a let down.
I know you guys are disappointed but it might be a blessing.Just look at the nexus 7 forum at all the chaos from the 4.2 update.Maybe by the time you do get your tablet a lot of the apps might be updated where you can at least do something with your tablet besides look at it.
The update screwed up many of the apps most of us use and it might take a little time for getting them updated to work.I had rather unbox a tablet that has everything working than one where I can't use right off the bat. jmho

Just putting it out there, they stated that it will be shipped out by 2 business days not delivered by 2 days.
If you don't see the tracking info by the end of the day or tomorrow morning, then call and demand they give you back shipping cost or discount or something.
I'm with you on the frustration of waiting though. I feel like the last few days been forever long.

Same boat here in Indiana, no shipping info yet, still pending. I can't remember the last time I paid 15 bucks for shipping, and for it to take a week... really sucks. I'm just anxious I'm going to get one with a bunch of light bleed >_<

So, I pre ordered a C6833 from Clove what seems like an eternity ago & they finally have a date of when the handsets will be shipping. According to their site update this morning: First stock confirmed arriving 12th September, for dispatch on the 13th. Its a shame they'll be shipping out on a Friday as you can almost guarantee that means they'll arrive on Monday rather than Saturday.
I'm sure Sony will confirm this launch date later today in Berlin.

I phoned Clove earlier & asked about the chances of a Saturday delivery. The guy told me if I'd chosen Royal Mail as the delivery method it would be quite likely. If I'd chosen another courier it would almost definitely be a Monday delivery. I changed it over to royal mail on the phone

Well even if yours arrives on Monday you'll be pleased anyway to have a SmartWatch 2 and a SBH20 FOR FREE!
I have to check here for some offers, because 612 GBP plus 26 GBP (s&h) will result in like 750 euros, which is A LOT.
BUT, official Italian Sony site says the base price for the Z Ultra s 729 euros, so I guess I'll have to think about it, given that here a SW2 would cost 199 euros...
I have a friend going to NY mid September, but even with the exchange at 1.35 it wold cost me more than that...

EDIT: now that I've seen samsung and Sony (ironically my S3 writes the two initial "s" as I wrote them ) conferences, I'm more than ever convinced on the ZU.

This is my first purchase from Clove although they have been on my radar for a couple of years now so I can't help you with return issues sorry. I did however email them a few times with nagging questions about when they would be expecting the ZU to arrive etc. TBH they took over a day to respond to my emails. They did respond every time & but it wasn't as quick as I'd of liked. Speaking to them by phone seems to be the best method as they have always been polite, helpful & quick to answer any questions.
It does seem like an excellent deal when comparing the freebies from Clove & the prices other retailers are selling just the handset for...

I bought one white ZU (plus SmartWatch 2 and SBH20, luckily it's written on the receipt so no one could tell me "you weren't in time" ), and a DK30 dock for a total of about 674 GBP, a little more than 800 EUR. According to the Sony official site in Italy, I would have spent a little less than 1K EUR, so that's a real deal for me.
What I don't understand is, as this is a preorder (well, part of it, since the DK30 is in stock right now), why they billed me for the full order right away.
I was under the impression that there were a complex following of security questions, and that the billing would be when the product is actually in stock, but I may have misunderstood that.
Could you confirm that when you go to your account, under your order it says "BACKORDER"?
I thought it meant that they had a product and they don't anymore, but maybe they use it as in "we don't have it", full stop.

Yeah, mine says the same... I ordered a sbh52 before I'd ordered the handset as I knew I was going to get it any way & that says preorder but the handset says backorder.
When I spoke to the guy on the phone the other day he assured me I would receive the smartwatch etc & that mine would be from the first batch as I was one of the first orders (August 9th)

I assume that either they have a lot of handsets on the way, or they didn't have many orders until now.

I have to say I'm still in two minds - I love the white aluminium finish on the sides and the back will show fingerprint marks less.
However, I'm not keen on the front of the device with the white border, which takes away some of the immersion when viewing content.
I'm in half-a-mind to change, but can't decide. I've been umming and ahhing for days now!
Almost had the same thought - use one of the light backcovers if blacks back is freaking you out.
Giving you the generally harmonious design of the black version, and leaves you alone with cleaning session if you're bugged of it.
Very close to switching my order now, the more I think about it, I think black will be better overall. The XZU will go into a case anyway, so the fingerprint problem isn't too much of an issue.

Not in my country I'm not. In my country it costs ~£640, I bought it from Clove at 675, but while in my country I would have had only the handset, with that money I paid the handset, a SmartWatch 2, a bluetooth headset SBH20, a DK30 dock, and I also paid for priority shipping.
I won't sell the accessories simply because I would have bought them anyway, so, for me, this is saving money, not "paying stupid money".
You wanna get it in February when it costs 450? Suit yourself, nobody is telling you what to do.
And by the way, I've seen people spending three times what was worth a PlayStation 1 when it first came out just to buy it on D1, and the same thing happens over and over again with hundreds of items, so go and wait for a price cut while we stand in line to get our first batch.

I also ordered my XZU way back in early August(Seems like forever) and saw the confirmed date...I had messaged Clove just after that date was posted and they replied that they still did not have a confirmed date from Sony, so I don't know what to make of this and will hope that this is indeed true....

I called the guy couldnt tell me anything just asked if I received a back order email which I didnt so it might still ship soon or on the 1st. I think they are running out on at&t web site too so it might just take a couple days, yes it sucks but what can you do. Maybe we can hear good news from others who bought on best buy maybe theirs has shipped.

I ordered when it showed up as available for purchase (I was waiting). I called just now and they said it's showing as backordered, but that my ETA was 4/4 - 4/15.
If I can find it somewhere else, I'll cancel and re-order, but I'm not expecting anyone else to be faster. I wish I could get the Verizon one without their service and just unlock it (I'm extremely impatient..)
Edit: in the AT&T orders thread people are receiving theirs already or have it shipped. I went ahead and ordered from there as well. I will cancel whichever doesn't ship first.
The Verizon phones are already SIM unlocked outta the box. I believe allnof their phones are but only H+ compatible. No LTE

Not on my still shows the same I log in to my best buy account a few times a day hoping to see a ship confirmation but find nothing but disappointment. I thought about calling them again and complaining about it because I think the best buy web site still has the phone for purchase so why is that if they still have not shipped mine from 3-25-14 at 3pm est ???? Maybe they might discount my price or throw something in but they dont really seem to care when you call as they offer to cancel your order like I really want to do that and end up biting my tongue because I feel that they should not be selling the phones if they dont even have them...

The verizon ones have lte frequencies that I do believe only work for verizon, at least not for at&t, Tmobile or Sprint. I think they work internationally possibly though. The thing about verizon phones is though that verizon wont let htc dev unlock your bootloader, so for the verizon model you wont get root until someone figures out s-off for the htc m8 which I think it may not be long before someone does it sounds like the devs are close to cracking it, once they do you can root the verizon model also. Another reason to hate big red other then them being a holes about everything especially not competing with prices of other networks, hopefully it will be their downfall and they will get taken over by a company with business sense and not a company that wants to squeeze evey penny out of you that they can and think they deserve it...

I just called BB and they told me that it was back ordered, they said if it does not come back in stock by April 8th then they would automatically cancel my order. He did say that they are expecting it to come back in stock by April 8. It would be nice if I didn't have to call them to find out that it was back ordered.

When I got my order confirmation on the 29th it said: "Estimated arrival date: April 3 - April 15"
Thought this would be a good thread. Seeing as everyone in the other thread just have 32 and 64GB devices. I ordered mine before the official link went up and its supposed to leave by the end of today. I'm supposed to get it between the 28-29th but I don't see that happening.
subscribe if it doesn't get locked. would be interested to see the first few 128gb being shipped to judge how long i have to wait

Ordered mine as soon as the links went live (about 10:22am PDT). Was supposed to leave warehouse today. Expected delivery window was Oct. 30-Nov. 03 (I went with free standard shipping). I see people getting emails from Google saying their orders won't arrive until Nov. 07-14, along with a $25 refund. I'm still waiting for that email. I guess I wouldn't mind $25 off.

Did you receive that message in an email? I haven't seen anything like that. I have spoken to a Customer Service Rep and they told me my 128 gb Graphite is due to ship Nov. 5th.

That would mean it would be delivered around Nov. 7th as that email says so thats likely when they plan on shipping

I got it today from [email protected] at 4:11pm pacific time. My phone was supposed to ship today. You'll probably get an email soonish, or on the 5th.
Google has over a month to get this crap together and they still couldn't do it. Cant even get a damn preorder right ffs... So disappointed right now

Great news! My 128GB is $25 cheaper now. Making it an even better deal. Yay!
I haven't received this email yet so we'll see. Why anyone would be in a rush for a pre ordered device is beyond me.

I hear you. I want the Frost one so I'm going to be waiting anyway.. Might as well get free money. I mean Nov 7-14 is already intersecting with my 5-9 current estimate.. Not that big a deal.
ordered 128gb aluminum on sept 30,with leaving warehouse date of Nov 2... I don't think it will ship before like with 32gb and 64gb. I'm just hopping it doesn't get delayed
I ordered mine on 10/2, aluminum. Did it through project fi with the financing. Expected window is 11/12-11/16. We will see when it gets closer...

You realize it was Huawei and not Google right? Google cant ship what they havent been given.
I ordered the Frost White color. Its in pending status with and ETA Nov 2 - 3. I hope it comes in before the 5th as I am leaving the states for a whole month. If i don't receive by the 4th , I will cancel it.

Then put Huawei into that sentence if you like. I really don't believe that Google did not have the ability to work with (or pressure) Huawei into delivering a smooth release.
I contacted Google Support after getting the email about the shipping delay, when they checked my order they said it was still shipping today... Why do they not give their CS Reps actual real information? Its so frustrating.

Just an FYI: I preordered the Quartz Gray on Newegg on 7/15, and just received a notification that it is being prepared for shipment. The status says "Packaging."
The headphones now also appear on the order, and are listed as "Monster N-Pulse NC MH NPU OE BK CU WW Over-Ear DJ Headphones - Black," at a value of $199.99 (with a -$199.99 adjustment before the total).
So if you pre-ordered from Newegg, start looking for it!
I ordered my the same day and mine is also now listed as "Packaging" and they billed my card. Looking forward to it getting in my hands soon.

Your guess is as good as mine on if they are going to ship within 48 hours since it's the first time I preordered something from Newegg.

I think the delay for the Grey paid off and they were able to deliver a much larger stock than originally anticipated or on the pessimistic side a lot of people cancelled their preorders which seems a little implausible.
I ordered from B&H on 7/18 and just looked and status has changed to "In stock, order sent to warehouse" very exciting news! Had said up until now new order processing but changed at some point tonight! Can't wait to get it rooted and daily use!

Same here I placed mine on 7/19 from B&H - no update so far.
My $75 gift card and Bluetooth headset have a tracking number as of this morning but the phone still says in stock order sent to warehouse so hoping it ships today. (As previously mentioned I ordered from B&H on 7/18/16)

Update: after yesterday's info from Newegg it's been packaged/processed (visa) and now I have a fedex tracking. It arrives tomorrow (New Jersey) by end of day. Nice surprise considering the expected 9/9 preorder info
