I think the best solution is to make it yourself. I am thinking about porting CM11 to LG L5 II, but still don't know how to start

And i dont know nothing about making these things :/ i just hope then hah

I would advise you to perform a search in the L7 II forums before creating yet another such thread. This forum for instance includes 3 threads about the same subject on its first page.

Sorry - I have no experience developing ROMs. Just waiting (im)patiently for LG's KK ROM update in a few months, as no one else seems to be working seriously on such a ROM.

Just hopped on IRC, and SnowLeopardJB says he is also working to port it. Hopefully anything useful can be merged into ROM sources like CM.
Got it booting so far. No radio yet. Can't work on it any more today, but its a start.

You're not alone mate :highfive:
Sounds awesome! I was between this and a n4 and got this for AT&T LTE and micro SD. Then got the pleasant surprise that it's basically the same phone

I am also awaiting to see results of 4.3 additions to current rom projects.
But I personally think the LGOG design is much nicer than the N4, the N4 rounded top and bottom make it look like HTC wannabe and seems to add bulk to the phones.
If I had known about the Oppo Find 5 earlier, I would have gotten that instead since the lack of microSD, LTE and the terrible design on the N4 turned me off completely. So ended up with the LGOG for $49, at least the price was attractive since I already pay for the data plan.
FYI, the iPhone 4S is still $100 more at AT&T. And I see AT&T still has iPhone 4, guess Apple in their contract made AT&T buy far more phones than they were able to sell.
- I noticed some AT&T employees even had Windows 8 logo on their shirts, to promote the Nokia WP8 phones, with the shirt on, tried desperately to convince me to upgrade to the iPhone 4 .99 upgrade, not the 4S, not the 5. I found that very amusing.
Can't wait for 4.3 on our OG

You can flash it like any other rom, but you won't have external SD or hardware keys.

It is 4.3 running on a stock JB LGOG. As nygfan760 said, any mako kernel will boot on the LGOG, as long as it is updated with the jellybean partitions, which is why the kernel version is identical. I am using it because an android 4.2.2 kernel will not boot android 4.3, caused by changes in the code base between the versions, such as SEAndroid support.
Kernel modifications will be needed for a fully working device. External sd card and physical touch buttons are the main things that would require a new kernel build, and will not be possible until source is released.
Well how about that? Son of a...

Haha, I know
Thankfuly the Mega is enjoyable stock, but damn the flashing finger is itchy. I knew it would't be fast, but it is starting to be a little worrying.
I'm even flashing stuff on the wife's Note 2 to get the taste of it, haha
Sad

Yes, that's what I thought too, but when this thread appeared first, I checked on the miui english community, and that was the answer given there.
Maybe the answer meant that for MIUI to be developped officialy for a device, then CM was required?

[Q] F160 to P760 ?

Hello guys
i compared LG optimus LTE 2 (F160S K ...) with LG optimus P760. i think that all specifications same, i'm going to flashing 4 kit kat with CM11.
what you guys think ? hehe
thank you for your comment and advice .,.,.
best regards
JasonBravo
@ jasonbravo! Were you able to do it? Or any idea where we could find more roms for this specific device (LG F160)?
Even the same TI OMAP SoC? Which is the most important part.
Is there any issue while doing it or have you already done that. Please guide us through so that others as well can do that...

Cloudy G2 Mini

Can someone make Cloudy Rom (LG G5 UI) for this device?
Yeah please, would be great. Any rom with UX 4.0 or 5.0
LG G2 has already CLOUDY ROM based on Lollipop. It would be awesome, if someone would port it.
It's a good idea. Who can port it?
