[Q] Photosphere on Huawei P7 - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I downloaded the original Google camera app from the playstore. There is a photosphere function and it works 100% fine
until its going to create and save the photo, when it is almost done the whole camera app crashes. I have the same problem
with the panorama function. I think it is the gallery app from Huawei that doesn't support photosphere and panorama pictures.
But I can't find a gallery app that works with the google camera. How can I solve this problem?

I copied the "photosphere image file" to my computer and it sais that the JPEG file is empty. So it doesn't save anything I think.

Any progress?
Same situation. Installed Google camera on Ascend P7, capture sphere, file size is 0...

[Q] Archos 70it, third party camera apps don't work

Hello,
Camera applications, other then the stock camera app, fail to work.
They boot up just fine and show image appropriatly, but when taking a picture no image is saved. I have tested a few camera apps, particularly Vignette demo and Paper camera.
Paper camera: this one shows the shutter animation, but nothing is saved.
Vignette demo: application informs that a picture is taken and then freezes.
The stock camera application however saves the pictures just fine to the sd card,
Does anyone have any idea of how this problem could be solved?
Many thanks in advance
On my A32 the only other cam app i can get to work is fast burst, It gives you a few more options than stock. I have tried every other cam app i can find with no luck, i have noticed that the scanner now works in google shopper with the new firmware.

[Q] [Question] Make in app Camera pick photo from gallery

Hi!
I'd like to know if there's any way of making an app use gallery image instead of taking a real picture. I heard about an app called Fake Camera, but that doesn't work with "in-app" camera implementations (e.g. Instagram, Snapchat and some others) do you have any idea of an app (root or not) that can do this?

Can't load .DNG/RAW Photos

Hey guys,
got my p9000 since yesterday and its pretty cool.....I loved the dng photos on my OnePlus One! One reason why I bought a P9000 was the dng function of the camera. But I can't load the photos in Photoshop or in any other programme that supports dng/raw files. Even the Snapspeed App can't load it.
So I installed twrp and a different rom today...wiped everything and hoped for the best, but still got the same problem...
is it a known bug?
thanks
Hi,
Install the last .apk attached to the post. It's a camera app, that supports the dng's. Other software like Lightroom and Snapseed then recognise the formats.

best camera app?

stock camera stinks, so what is best camera app to try with it?
Haven't tried it much since our camera sucks anyway, but Open Camera has lots of settings to play with.
I like Snap Camera HDR on play store
I am more put off by the slow opening speed and focusing of the stock camera app. Stock Google camera is basic but solves the problem.
I use Camera MX. I like the Live Shot option. However it takes a lot of sd card space and only you can see it. (You cannot share a Live Shot, except in the form of a video or GIF. I don't think the GIF option even works. )

Google camera pictures not saving

Dear poco community, I installed the latest Google camera apk on my poco, it's working fine but when I am capturing photos it's not showing on gallery also I am not finding those photos on file manager. please give me some solutions. thanks.
Have you selected HDR+ or HDR enhanced? If not then do that as it's a known issue that gcam does not save pictures without HDR. And was there a need to create a new thread? There's already at least 10 threads discussing the same things.
I have recently purchased POCO F1 . But photos are not appearing in camera app. But they are showing from google camera. Folks please help me with this problem.???
