If someone ask me why I don't want that my work is used, it means that you don't know xda rules so here i report the #12 that explain the sharing policy for both rom and kernel.
Cyanoid kernel is for cyanoid rom only.
You're free to fork edit and push requests on git but you cannot use it as is on your project
XDA Rule #12. Using the work of others.
If you are developing something that is based on the work of another Member, you MUST first seek their permission and you must give credit to the member whose work you used. If a dispute occurs about who developed / created a piece of work, first try to settle the matter by private message and NOT in open forum. If this fails, you may then contact a Moderator and provide clear evidence that the work was created by you.
Convincing evidence will result in the copied work being removed. If there is no clear evidence that it was you who created the work, then in the spirit of sharing, all work will remain posted on the forums.
As an addition, developers have the right to hold exclusivity over their work for as long as it is deemed necessary by that developer. However, if the work is claimed as exclusive, it must remain as such. No selective sharing will be allowed (ie, allowing certain people to use it and not others). Should the developer decide to start sharing the work with others, the work automatically becomes fair game for all to use, albeit with the relative credit displayed.
In regard to permissions, the same rules apply for this but if permission was already given and unless there is a very valid reason, it cannot be revoked (same applies to major updates on the work). Under that same premise, permissions cannot be denied unless the work is exclusive or under extreme circumstances.
In plain English: If you want to keep your work exclusive, go for it. However, if you are going to share your work, do it fairly.
These rules apply to all software posted on XDA (including but not limited to ROMs, RUUs, apps, games, kernels, themes, icons, etc) unless that software comes with a license that waives these rules.

[mini pro] GREEK users willing to test a keylayout?

Are there any Greek users who are willing to test a Greek keylayout for ICS/CM9?

I would call it development, as this is the first time that mini pro users will be able to use the Greek keylayout... and it will possibly get included in the next version of FXP (CM9).
I could have posted it in the FXP thread, but there is a bigger chance that more Greek would be able to test it with this thread.
Still it is NOT a development thread. Its a mod. Hence its place is in the Apps section not the development thread.
Although If you manage to make it, along with other languages you should then post on the FXP thread itself, or send a PM to them.
If it were a global mod, like the Live button on the LWW, then sure. But this is FXP mod only.(at least thats what I get from what you say)

No it is not only for FXP, it is going to be included with FXP, but it is going to work with all CM9 based ROMs in here.
This has nothing to do with an app...
If you do not think that this has anything to do with development, report it to the moderators... do not SPAM or you will get reported in stead.
I didnt say it's an app. It's a mod. Mods belong to the app section just like the quickpanel mods etc etc. If you cant understand that, just because you want a spot in the development section, then be my guest. When did valid arguments become "spam"? It's a forum everyone is entitled to their opinion, and thats what im expressing.

It is development. No discussion about that!
If i had opened the thread noone would complain oO
On XDA development is if you created something, so he created the keymap file which means that it is development.
Also we dont want to discuss it here. If you think its not development just hit the report button.
The meaning of this thread is that someone should try the keymap and not discussing about whats development and what not.
Regards
Thank you Andreas
I just wanted someone with the real keyboard to test it, just to make sure that it is working 100% as it should.

OP, I have removed the download link and am closing this thread down while I investigate the claims that you used others work.
For the people claiming that he used their work without permission. If you have EVER given permission to ANYONE to use the work then it's fair game for everyone else. For the people claiming the OP used their work, Please PM me with proof. (Md5 matches etc..)
The rule states:
"12. Using the work of others.
If you are developing something that is based on the work of another Member, you MUST first seek their permission, and you must give credit to the member whose work you used. If a dispute occurs about who developed / created a piece of work, first try to settle the matter by private message and NOT in open forum. Convincing evidence will result in copied work being removed. If there is no clear evidence you created the work then in the spirit of sharing all work will remain posted on the forums.
As an addition, developers have the right to hold exclusivity over their work for as long as it is deemed necessary by the dev or freely share it. However, if the work is claimed as exclusive, it must remain as such. No selective sharing will be allowed (ie allowing certain people to use it and not others). Should the dev decide to start sharing the work with others, the work automatically becomes fair game for all to use.
In regards to permissions, same rules remain for this but if permission was already given, unless there is a very valid reason, it cannot be revoked (same applies to major updates on the work). Under that same premise, permissions cannot be denied unless the work is exclusive or under severe circumstances.
In plain English: If you want to keep your work exclusive, go for it. However, if you are going to share your work, do it fairly.
These rules apply to all software posted on XDA (including but not limited to ROMs, RUUs, apps, games, kernels, themes, icons, etc) unless that software comes with a license that waives these rules."

Question Samsung Selinux always ENFORCING. How to set to PERMISSIVE mode?

Hello.
I'm using Samsung Galaxy 5G device and the selinux is always set to ENFORCING no matter what I do.
How can I change it to PERMISSIVE mode? Thanks for any advice!
On Xiaomi devices it's so easy you can simply write setenforce 0 as root and it will instantly do the trick but this does NOT work on Samsung devices! Samsung devices seem to have a special selinux-ENFORCING-lock even as root user!
Now the question is how to unlock it?
Try cmdline=androidboot.selinux=permissive for boot.img or vendor_boot.img
@LeeGarChat I see you're still stalking me...
I gave you plenty of chances to apologize to me for stealing my program names, binaries and more from my SystemRW / SuperRW feat. MakeRW by lebigmac release. Now it's too late. Everyone get what they deserve.

I just decided to see what other "best products" you have made, but I did not find it except for systemrw. anyway I gave you advice, but it is unlikely that it will work.

I think you need to change rom type to userdebug
Thanks @LeeGarChat for trying to be helpful in this case (why the sudden change of heart? You never helped me with my SystemRW / SuperRW feat. the original MakeRW by lebigmac script) but this does not excuse your unacceptable behavior of stealing my program names, some binaries from my release and more ugly provocations that you did to me. I'm still waiting for your public apology by the way
You should work on your attitude towards other fellow programmers. You have potential to become a good programmer.
And don't forget a good programmer always has lots of respect towards other fellow developers and their hard work and would never steal & abuse the latter for their own egoistic benefit!
Good luck in your developer career with that attitude!

Oh I see. Just searching for other intellectual property that you can steal from me and then rebrand, put your name on it and then reupload it as your own huh?
