I think you have to go to profile then run the update. Once you see "Samsung Apps" change to "GALAXY Apps" in the Apps Draws then you're good.

I also had the same problem of freezing after selecting the notification.... But you can just hit the back or home button to unfreeze the screen. I ended up just removing my Samsung account from the phone then adding it right back and finally the update downloaded. This was a separate update from the Galaxy Apps.

[Q] Unable to contact location service??

Just got my 64 gb version from online order. Brand new, no rooting what so ever.
But the weather widget (on top of the blinkfeed) is not able to find location. Just says "current location".
Trying manually to refresh, it says "Unable to contact location services......" Kinda annoying.
Anyone else got this problem?

Did you give it time, though? I had the same thing happened, and it didn't connect until after about 30 minutes of wifi being off - both times after I set the phone up as new.

Yep I had Wi-Fi off for a long time, still would not connect.
Funny though, I downloaded the AccuWeather App and that gets a location in no time.

Tried gmap, was able to locate. But Weather Widget still can not.
Go to location settings and untick and retick all options. Then reboot. Should work

[Q] I9100XXLS8 BIG problem

Please help me to solve A BIG problem I have.
My Samsung SII was automatically updated to the new android version Jelly Bean (I9100XXLS8). Ever since the update when i'm in the menu section of the phone, it speaks back ("Page 1 of 4, page 2 of 4 etc). This only happens when I flick through the menu pages. It still talks back when the phone is on silent or vibrate. I have tried the accessibly section already - talk back is not switched on. I have tried switching talk back on and off to see if that works and it doesn't. I have tried looking at the google voice section with no luck. It's driving me crazy - anyone know any ways to get rid of it?
EDIT: NoLED aplication was the problem.
Have you tried uninstalling talkback?

Two issues with a rom

I wanted to post this is the Rom thread, but I can't. First problem is a "Camera has stopped" error that happens about a second after opening the stock camera app. HDR camera app from the store works fine. The other is I downloaded and it's for my ViperDNA, and then tried to flash in recovery. It got stuck at 0%, so I rebooted straight back into recovery, flashed it no problem and rebooted. Now I keep getting notifications to update the Rom. Going in and checking for updates confirms Rom version and makes the notification disappear, but it keeps coming back. How can I "tell" the phone that the update is already done?
Go to about phone. Updates. And check updatrs

Doing this only temporarily clears the notification. It keeps coming back.

Then you still need to update.

This drove me nuts for awhile too. I believe I ended up going into the Samsung Hub app and then the settings for it.
You have to go to the internet and download the Samsung App Store. Then you can go to purchased apps and update from there. SHealth and one other one was wanting me to update the last few days.

Yes, after upgrading to Kit Kat upgrade I am seeing frequent restart, especially when phone is in idle state.
In which scenarios do you see the sudden restarts?

Thanks for the update. This exactly same thing happens with my note 3 neo. I also use S-View Cover. And whenever I keep the phone idle for some time and open cover, there is restart. I haven't observed this restart in any other scenario.!!
I also cleaned cache and uninstalled many applications, kept only few apps which are necessary, so far it didn't restart let me keep testing it!!
I also checked on the net and found that many Note 3 (Not Neo) users have reported similar issues, they talk about many solutions, but not sure if they will really work on Neo 3.
Will post if don't observe any restart after this.

Make a factory reset or two. When I was flashing a rom on my old galaxy s1 I used to wipe 3 times before flashing. Just wipe once , let it boot and wipe again
