I saw 3 cases today in AT&T, the Otterbox, a Speck and an Incipio. All 3 were massive. They made the G3 into a Note sized phone.

Belt clip case

Has anybody tried one of these cases for the Note? It is a belt clip/kickstand holster. I was wondering if the belt clip is durable or if it feels really cheap or loose. Also curious if the phone will fit this case with the glas.t installed on the screen.

many users have brought this. Very good one. Build quality is not very high class but sturdy and maintains the phone well.
Thanks for the info. Trying to get a few accessories ordered ahead of time so when I get the phone I will have them already.
I have this case, here are a few pix,
I also have Moshi iVisor screen protector and no issue with case.
Stand/belt clip sturdy so far.
I have this case, too. Works as advertised. Very decent, especially for the price. I also have the Seidio Active Combo. Seidio is nicer. More of a Cadilac while this one is more of a Ford.
Yes But Minimal Protection

If you drop it top and bottom of the phone is vulnerable.:crying:
I've have this exact case that I've bought from Cellphoneshop.com for the same price(9.00) when I just bought my phone 2 months ago. I"m just waiting for the otterbox comes out!! ATT doesn't know when they will be released!!!
This will just be a case to tide me over until I get the seidio combo with holster.

The Otterbox's, both Defender and Commuter have been out for awhile now. Hit up eBay or the web. I love my Defender! Also, there are threads about these too. Don't buy from AT&T though... Priced too high.

Note 3/Otterbox preorder/Spigen preorders

I found a site with the following:
1. Otterbox preorder for Defender and Commuter Series.
2. Spigen Neo Hybrid $26.00
3. Spigen Slim Armor $32.50
(Are the Spigen prices flipped?)
I can't post links yet. Attached are screensaves of the online site and products.
This is the link to their official site :Note 3 Just realized that they removed the ultra capsule from their site.

Yeah, then it looks like the "mobilefun" site has their prices mixed up. In fact their entire Spigen line pricing doesn't make sense. IIRC, the ultra capsule was around $10-11 on Amazon. Now I'm not seeing it. Regardless, if you were thinking of Spigen, they have the prices flipped with the Neo Hybrid underpriced and the Slim Armor overpriced.
As for Otterbox, I'm not too trusting without at least a picture of the product being shown. Mobilefun itself has been around for a while, but Otterbox has been coy on the entire subject of Note 3. On the other hand, there have been photos of Defender and Commuter for "authorized dealers only". Mobilefun might have inside knowledge.
Regardless, when Otterbox comes out, it will be everywhere. I won't need mobilefun.
I'm actually interested in the Neo Hybrid, but I am concerned about the size of the slot for the headphone jack.

Yes just not for pre orders yet. It is not even in development stages. So this site just wants ur money. How do they know how much to charge if otter box does not know. All I am saying is be very careful with preorders
TWEAKED 2.5
Just got confirmation email that Spigen shipped my Glas.Tr. No tracking at the moment though
Is the neo better or slim armour? Really tempted to get the slim armour too but not sure if it's worth it

Otterbox-like case?

I have a Note 3 with an Otterbox Defender case. Love it. My previous phone had a Ballistic case. I really liked it, but I like the all rubber back of the Otterbox Defenders, gives much better grip and better protection in my opinion.
Is there anything similar for the Nexus 6 right now? I ordered a Foscom Rugged one off Amazon, the outside is a hard plastic and the inner softer shell feels really rigid.
Might want to look at the seidio dilex if otter box doesn't have one yet. I can't think of any other otter box type cases really as I prefer slimmer gear.
I ordered this case from Amazon and really like it.

The best case for nexus 6 is the ballistic tough max. It's more like an otter box then any case available. Also my otter box that I had for my droid maxx before switching to nexus 6 wasn't rubber on the back? The plastic part clips over the rubber just like ballistic. So I'm confused. But anyways ballistic is way to go on nexus 6.

Otterbox has several series. Commuter is rubber touching the phone, then a hard plastic shell on the back. The Defender series has the hard plastic touching the phone, then encased in a rubbery shell.
Depends on which kind of Otterbox you mean, really.
I overviewed some two-piece cases (i.e., inner sleeve + outer frame) which have similar characteristics to the bigger Otterbox styles, for example.
The Supcase and Ballistic Max cases mentioned above are also within the same ballpark.

The Trident Aegis and Seidio Dilex resemble the Commuter. I have the Dilex. It does add some thickness and weight but its solid.

I have this one too. Really nice. Supcase makes great cases. I also have their regular Unicorn Beetle case with the clear plastic back, and that one is even better than the Pro series cases.
I just ordered this one
http://www.amazon.com/Protection-i-Blason-Full-body-Protective-Protector/dp/B00OGYP52Y
From what I understand its slightly less bulky than the supcase plus IMO it looks much better than the supcase or the ballistic

I have this case and it works pretty great. Protected from a few drops already, but I did remove the built in screen protector as I can never stand those. Still a great case without the screen protector as it maintains its integrity.

I always gauge the thickness by the cutout around the camera. Holy cow that thing's a vault!
Ive purchased a few of the Supcases off of Amazon and have been blown away with how Nice they are. I wont buy Otterbox anymore because of it.

I really don't like the smooth plastic backs of those types of cases. I do have a Supcase for my IPad. I agree it offers the same or better protection as an otterbox at a fraction of the price. I got the Foscom and it's pretty nice. I also ordered a Ballistic Tough Maxx. I know it's also smooth on the back, but I had one for a different phone and the dimples in it help give it some grip.

I have this case too. I like it for the most part, but I'm thinking of getting either the Supcase or Ballistic. The recesses in the back add some grip, but i feel the TPU material is harder than it needs to be and will transfer more energy from an impact, and the N6 is a heavy phone...
I think the trident aegis is as close to otterbox as you can get, it's a good case. An unseen benefit of the aegis is it sits flat so if you use the phone while its on a table it won't rock like a curved back does.
Otterbox
Has anyone else tried contacting Otterbox to see if they plan to develop a case for the Nexus 6? They seem to develop cases based on interest, or at least that's what I was told when I called them to ask. So I would advise anyone else interested in an Otterbox to contact them and ask when they plan to release one.
Got a Ballistic Tough Maxx today. Realy like the feel. I think it's the best case. Just wish it had a kickstand.

Don't think they 're going to start making a case because a few people from XDA want it. I'm sure they're looking at sales figures from Google and Motorola to see how many people own one.

They would never make a case for a phone this late in the device's life cycle.
You never owned a note 3 then, cases didn't start flowing until months later.

Cases available for Galaxy S7?

I am pretty sure I will buy this model for my boyfriend´s birthday in April. I have already seen cases on line in Amazon or Mobilefun.com that says available. Do you think they are trustable?
Could I buy one to give as a small present in San Valentin´s day? Or they will be fake as model is not in the market yet?
Any help?http://cdn2.xda-developers.com/images/smilies/confused.gif
Not sure they are trustable but they are stylish
Popular Spigen case maker has now posted cases for the unannounced Galaxy S7 and its variants online.

there might be a lot , but i always prefer UAG , Otterbox , Artech 21 , Spigen ,Specks
Samsung Galaxy S7 Case
I just saw that Rokform has a new case coming for the S7 that they call the "Sport Utility case" I think it would be worth checking out if you want a case that can perform multiple tasks as well as protect your phone.

yes , but i actually love the defender case's protection from Otterbox , but i prefer the UAG style .
i already ordered UAG , Gray Orange
and i just found one looks like UAG ,but has extra front cover also a tempered glass screen protector
http://www.amazon.com/Artech-21-Mil...d=1456461436&sr=8-2&keywords=s7+defender+case
I will only keep one ,after comparing them together
I've had a bunch of spigen neo hybrids (best looking IMO) but the biggest downfall is the plastic bumper around the charger port cracks. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
I am looking into getting a new phone case and found out a few cases
araree amy
Patchworks Flexguard
Ringke Onyx

They make one for only Best Buy with a clear back. Got one with the phone Friday and it is nice and slim. Easy to get the phone in and out. There is also a version out with Buffalo leather that looks good in the pictures.
Also ordered the Ballistic Tough Case for extreme days. Had one on the HTC M7 for over two years rough years and the phone looks like new.

Strongest case for s7 but not too over the top

There are lots of cases for galaxy s7. Every link with the top 10 as the title all features different cases. I remember ballistics being one of the top cases for galaxy s5 but I no longer see it being reviewed up there.
I'm thinking of either the otterbox or ballistics defender case.
I'm unsure of any other cases, tpu feels rather cheap and weak. Unlike the ballistic which features silicon. Any suggestions are appreciated

UAG cases are really protective and light.
Poetic Quarterback is minimalist with plenty of protection.

I'm also on uag. Used it on my s3 for 3 years... Lots and lots of drops, but not a scratch on the phone.
First thing i bought for my S7. Awesome protection, very light and good grip.
Another UAG user here, protection, lightweight and style alltogether. Everyone who see my UAG case asks where they can get it. Go figure.
