OTA Updates not working

Quite some time ago I rooted my S2 to get it unlocked. I then shortly after unrooted and flash ICS onto it when it was first due to be released. Ever since it does not ever find any updates.
Can anyone help with why this may be?
whin ics was firsted released from this site was never considered official, just leaked firmware. OTA updater will not recognize leaked software it is not stock, it was modified slightly.
You would need to find a stock ics which was releaed about mid 2012. Flash that and OTA should work.

Right I've just flashed this rom using odin
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=23562857&postcount=2
My phone shows as running 4.04 so it has flashed ok but I am still getting no updates found. Is there anything else I need to check?

We have custom recovery so what is the hold up on more roms?

I really thought they would have been rolling in by now.

In a sense yes. Thecubed won't release the bump site until then.
I just picked up a LG3 two days ago, it says there is an update and it came with 4.4.2, is this update 4.4.3 or 4.4.4?

NO its 4.4.2 dont take it
Alpha is right. DO NOT update if you wish to root, etc. There are numerous folks downgrading/reverting to stock for this very reason.

You are more than welcome to develop your own ROM. The BUMP website has not been posted so dev's can BUMP the ROMs they make. Going to need that that for AOSP type roms due to kernel.

We just release new KingRoot. This one will support SAMSUNG S6, S5(4G), Note3(4G), Lenove K3-Note, Gionee S7. What is more, we can close Sony_RIC perfectly now, you don't need re-root after reboot anymore~ Thank you very much~

Read the Ars Technica article. It includes some minor changes to DND and a new layout for nav bar on tablets, plus the obligatory December security updates.
It is out...

Looks like the 6.0.1 factory image is up for angler now. Just started downloading it!

Yep.
mind posting the baseband and bootloader version?
Any word if this enables band 12 support? And if you have TWRP already can you flash everything but the recovery image and be fine?

Do you happen to know the kernel version? Is it the same or newer from the 6.0.0 factory image. thanks.
Does the mdb08k boot.img from here work?
Or should we use another boot.img before rooting this?
This might be slightly off topic but a little bit on topic. Google released MMB29N before MMB29M. I always assumed that was supposed to be in order M before N. Did they mess up or is that correct?

System update while rooted and xposed installed

I have a Sony Xperia m5 and I am new to rooting and all
But my question is what happens if I update my phone with an Xperia system update while it is rooted and has xposed installed on android os 5.1
Is it the same as an android os update or different and what will happen?
It will fail.

You are gonna have to go back to completely stock. You have to understand that if you mod your device you wither give up updates or get used to going back to complete stock then update.

I'll just block the updates
That is always an option but makes you vulnerable to any exploits that the monthly security patches fix.
