Thats because samsung made it that way. U can change wallpaper of lock screen made by samsung only by gallery made by samsung.
While wallpaper part was not modified by samsung so .....

I cant change the lock screen wallpaper in ur rom.... Can u help? I mean i have just default wallpapers to choose from... But when used to run stock rom there was live wallpapers option too ....... And why does the notification bar shows jabber instead of my network ...and when i take screenshots ..in notification it shows vpn and something .... Instead of delete and share ....

U need stock gallery app (deodexed) tht will help.
The jabber thing was there in the ui by akshay. I didnt modify it.
The 3rd problem ws there in jellyk i thought i fixed it.
Anyway u can fix last 2 problems using xposed modules..

Here but remember, is not a flashable .zip, you have to replace this icons with yours, sign your .zip and than flash

no problem, click reply, than wait till the box show (done reload), than click Manage Attachment (below icon selection, there was a bow titled "MANAGE ATTACHMENTS", than upload ur framework-res.apk. After finish upload, click Close this Window.

With a lot of research on the internet I finally managed to get the classic SE Timescape working although it works only with SE launcher any one intrested in getting it to work on the touch wiz or other launchers?
If yes let me know I will post the files used..

Here you go buddy first flash the BE + Time scape zip and on top of that flash the timescape fix and then copy the SE _active launcher to the /system/app

@ anirudhks: after flashing the 2 zip files only, the timescape works good. but when i press the infinite view, it crashes. what does SE Active Launcher do if I copy it to system/app? there is already Launcher2 (SE) in system/app after the flashings..
any plans to fix the infinite view bug and add all other SE widgets? I would love to use them on my SGS2 device.. Cheers..

the infinite view has a bug yes as its based on the gingerbread framework , I will need to look into it however I am not a pro developer so would need the help of devs here , also the launcher is the Gingerbread launcher , the newer SE launchers wont recognize the widgets..

it doesnt work on touchwiz laucher. but it works on SE laucher cos it needs sony framework to run the timescape. it's only the infinite view issue.

Logically we should be able to trick the widget to work with Touch whiz too but just not able to find the right spot to identify the code... will check what I can do ..
or the other way I am looking at is to customize the SE launcher to look like the touchwhiz

I flashed the new zip, now working fine dialogs , but lock screen when ripple effect + ink effect are enabled is buged now (the screen becomes white, but unlock succsesfully the phone)

if you have bug minimize with home button , go to > setting> cyanogenmod > tablet tweak > and disable lockscreen

hey, sorry for thread bump but can you make this more customizable (options to change date style, change Swipe up or down to unlock text, remove arrows, add background dim, and disable statusbar, etc) ? this is so far the best z1 lockscreen (there are 2 other z1 lockscreen app on market but both are **** and full of ads)
can anyone suggest me any lockscreen mod for our sgs ??
