Xperia U HDMI (READ possible solution) - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

Would if I use the rom xperia P and put hdmi work? I once read an administrator on the forum SONY mention that with that software could not be exchanged and will it work?

flashing xperia p rom will brick your phone.
and where the honest *uck do you plan on plugging in the hdmi cable if as xperia u has no HDMI port.
you can try something like this http://www.marttree.com/sony-xperia-u-hdmi-mhl-cable.html
or use dlna.

LoL!!

yeah, I use hdmi on xperia u, some glue to micro usb and hdmi cable and it works!

WHAT? :laugh::laugh::laugh:
Just buy a Chromecast and stop fooling around! xD

New u can use usb mouse and keyboard directly on our mobile...

with only usb otg cable u can connect only one device at a time... but if u want to connect keyboard and mouse simultaneously u need another device called usb hub...
just connect one end of otg cable (micor usb socket) to ur mobile and and another end to the main male usb socket of usb hub... then u can connect keyboard and mouse to female socket of usb hub....

Yep, there is an app in market called "Xperia Arc USB-OTG storage manager"
this allows you to mount USB thumb drives too.
Its a paid app but I bought it and it works well..
Really nice to be able to plug the phone up to a LCD screen (through HDMI) and access movies off a thumb drive.

I tried to plug a mouse and keyboard into my phone via a usb hub, the phone didn't detect anything and they don't work. But the keyboard and phone had power cuz the red light on my mouse came on... They worked when I plugged it in separately skipping the usb hub... any clue why this happens?
You need a usb otg cable, look on eBay, I got one for about 2euro from Hongkong.
Or you could buy the livedock (these are about 30euro) but let you charge the phone at the same time as using otg.

Are you using an OTG cable? Do mice and keyboards work? And what firmware version are you on? On the neo otg support was added from .42 onwards.

I have a NEO, mice and keyboards work on. In the .42 and .62 version.
If you put an OTG usb cable have only 1 port, but i bought an usb hub with 4 ports and all of them are working. But only works with low consumption devices.
(mice, keyboards) Works with wireless and wired.
thanks
thanks
but please how can i change the language while i plugged the usb keyboard
thanks again

how much?
Is there anything special about this cable?
Where is the point of buying "official cable" ? There is no way that cable can damage Your phone. "official" cable also dont give better video quality, this is digital signal, You can see the image or not, simple as that. Anyways, there is no "Xperia S" official hdmi cable, there is only Sony Ericsson certified one, which i got with my phone. Search for : IM820 .
there is no need to buy the original one ... you can use a cable with this specification:
microHDMI (Typ D) XPERIA S Side <--------> HDMI (Type A) TV, Beamer ... Side
Klassification HDMI 1.2a
Just look at ebay. I bought one for only 3 dollars (incl. shipping)

[Q] Sony Xperia Tablet S Hdmi Cec ?

Hello could somebody please test if the xperia tablet suports hdmi cec an wich resolution to get on the tv ?
thanks
yes by resolution 720p not more
Thx for your answer , 720 p not more thats a mess the last xperia smartphones supports 1080p
So playback on TV via HDMI is super but unfortunately it is not higher than 720p and 1080p I would prefer - perhaps with an update to JB wait times possible. Dual screen is also possible to not You can also stream pictures to your TV then it is also possible to 1080p via an adapter cable but not But the USB host and HDMI cables are currently Lowered price ... What is the bad one, the USB host cable to HDMI Adapteranschließen is not supported ... but it is only possible through the HDMI in addition to connect the charging cable so you do not run out of juice
What are you using to get HDMI out on the Tablet S? I've read several threads that say that the Tablet S does not support MHL adapters for HDMI out.

charger for new hardware tablet S

Just a head up.
The new hardware (121/122/123) has 5V USB charging.
I can use iPad charger with it.
You may want to buy extra USB cable in order to keep it at work or in your car.
